Surprising their is Lots of stuff in such a small store. I didn't know there that they even have a small section of clothes for sale but all in all it seemed like good priced and variety of stuff. There was an older man very nice with good energy at the cash register so I wouldn't mind going back.

The review is not for the dollar store, but it is for their employees. Last night, I drove around trying to find balloons, and no where would pick up the phone. Finally, Adam, picked up and let me know that they had balloons in stock. He was incredibly helpful with picking out the balloons and filling them with helium. Fantastic service! Thank you Adam from Family Dollar!

This place is an absolute joke. The older lady needs to be fired. Who makes a customer stand there and wait for 15 mins while she stays on the phone just to end up waiting longer as she’s freaking out in front of my son and me.Me and him were the only people in the store to and to wait that long is insane do better

Clean store mostly good products batteries are jinky but at that price just buy them for the mother in law only llol you can upload your debit card there and that's handy and handy pays the bills at times

I found that the store was neat and tidy and the items I was looking for was in stock and priced correctly and also the clerk was good at his job he was also very friendly and fast.the parking lot was clean and there was a lot of parking and it is easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

Billings family dollar was filthy, aisles were cluttered and full of stock that wasn't being worked and overall employee rating is rude. I would have rather given 1/8 of a star but that wasn't an option. Disappointing.

The cashier named Mike was very rude . It’s very sad he is not helpful. A week ago I had another cashier who was very sweet and pleasant. She even offered me a bag to cover my head when it was raining. Mike on the other hand does not want to do his job . I had one item and he seemed bothered that I wanted to use a coupon on the app. I am giving a 3 star because the other lady was super nice.

Customer service was phenomenal and the variety of products was plenty. Unfortunately, because they're so short staffed (the manager was the only one there) and customers do not know how to put things back where they belong, the store needs some organizing. Overall, I will be back.

Dana has no sense of customer service. I just walked out because she very rudely stated if I didn't like to wait in line, along with twelve others for the one cashier, I didn't have to shop there and could leave.Mind you she had well enough time to barely stock shelves and yap her trap off to another coworker directly in front of her. Very slowly working as well. She is a manager, yet has no cashier clearance. ??

Love the store and the staff. Just the area it's in I don't like but won't stop me from going there. Always a good deal on stuff you can find at other stores for a waaaay higher price. Go here to save money for sure!! Every penny counts!

The side walks at this location have gone unshoveled through this entire snow season this far. This is absolutely ridiculous & unsafe. The lines at check out at times are beyond the reasonable wait time. I usually get Tammy as a cashier which makes the whole trip tolerable as she is funny & friendly and goes the extra mile in trying to ease tensions for shoppers who are frustrated by the lines and lack of assistance.I shop here often, the lack of opening up two registers when you have 8-10 people in line is ridiculous.

Just once I'd like to go into your store on State Avenue and be able to get thru the aisles I was in there this morning and boxes of merchandise in aisles can't hardly push a cart without running into boxes then I noticed one of the workers on her phone showing pictures to customers I myself am in retail and unlike your employees I take pride in my store half The time you get no greeting when entering store I've been in quite a few family Dollar stores and this is the worst

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. On more than one occasion the prices on items in the store don't match, and you don't find out until you have made it to check out....no big deal stuff happens but the employees act unconcerned and don't fix it on the shelf or at the register. In the future, unless out of desperation I will not be returning. Maybe over time they will fail as a business and a local friendly business with better morals will take their place and better serve the customers and their community.

I normally go here everyday until I was informed Monday that they were going to redo the store so I waited until I moved out of the Aryan what's first chance I've had to come back over here and I think they just opened well today is grand opening and I see they move something but others are still the same and overall is really a mess and I got a lot of love that store but nothing $2 and everything seem to mess and ask you and you know maybe they weren't ready to open so that I say boo

Went shopping to get a few things and noticed that the wings was marked for a dollar. Read the sign. And was like no way. So I checked the other bags to make sure that all the other ones was there was the same type of wings and everything. Once I got to check out. They rang up as 6 dollars. Tried to explain to the lady and she started to get very disrespectful wouldnt let me finish. Then got another guy involved after checking and I heard her saying we have to give it to them and he ended up swapping the labels back and telling me it was a shipping problem and the guy that stocked it had no clue. Cuz the freezer was down. So I checked the others and everything else in that cooler was marked correctly. It was their mistake that the chicken had the wrong price on the price tag not that ik trying to complain bout 5 dollar difference it is the moral of the story it was marked by them wrong and then on top of not honoring it. Both employees was extremely disrespectful. Its ashame because I'm in there every week and talk to the same gentlemen that was disrespectful honestly didnt think your store was capable of that. But because of it I'll def take my business elsewhere

I purchased multiple gift cards for Christmas gifts. So far, the Burger King cards did not work. Very embarrassing! Tried calling the store. No one answers. Very disappointing! As of 1/8/18 this issue has been resolved. One of the cards did not get activated.

The store was in disarray,there was a long line of ppl..When finally the head cashier called for some one to come up to check ppl out..The parking lot had trash all over.. The head cashier wasn't very friendly..

Ronda is very rude. Doesnt say hello when checking you out, throws your 2 liters in the bag with an attitude. And doesnt say thank you or she doesnt even tell you what your total is just throws your stuff in bags...learn some customer service skills..

Family Dollar has awesome merchandise and at a great price. They sell food, kitchen, bathroom, car stuff, and even sell stuff for your dogs and cats. I go here all the time and shop, i even bring some of my clients here to shop and they love it, they get more for their money then walmart.

Used the oldest building on the south side ? All the other stores are built new and bigger ? Hardin,Bridger,Redlodge and this Billings store is under staffed so the people are taking advantage of that. Don't like the service go to 3 Gz. they have about 4 convience store in this small area. PS, Where did all you people come from ???

I love Family Dollar always shop the one in my hometown, was excited we were getting one. Went in once and it was not a friendly atmosphere and I will not be back especially after hearing of others experiences in this store.

It's ghetto here, understaffed, empty shelves, tweaker meth heads, walking dead types you have to watch your back here while shopping. Corporate should shut this location down. Not worth the liability. NO ONE EVER WEARS UNIFORMS THERE. I DONT KNOW WHO THE EMPLOYEES ARE????!!!

Kind of expensive and the staff member that helped me spent the whole time complaining about other coworkers. I guess it's conveniently located for people on that part of town. I probably won't return.
