I visited this store looking for a bird for my wife. After browsing around for a few minutes and not finding anything I decided to ask for assistance. I walked up to the register to ask a question but the associate running the register looked busy, or so I assumed. She was having a casual conversation with another woman about each other’s day. When I politely interrupted their conversation by saying “excuse me ma’am” the associate made eye contact with me and did not bother to even acknowledge me. I waited for them for what felt like 10 minutes for them to finish their conversation, at which point she asked me “yes?” I asked if they had any other birds to which she answered “no” and immediately turned away from me. Her attitude was anything but friendly, she even gave me a face of disgust.Staff here are not friendly at all and they could care less about customers. I will highly discourage anybody from doing business at this place.

I never have a good experience in here. It’s either dirty, with poor care to the animals or the customer service is awful. Unfortunately today, it was both.Wish this shop would take better care of their animals and make it their top priority as it is a pet store.Also not sure as to why this pup was in a glass container and not in the puppy section in the bins with the other pups.I hope to see improvement in this shop.

Have been very disappointed in the management lately. I have a tortoise and go in often to buy Super worms for her. There were 7 Containers of worms by the register and 5 out of the 7 containers had dead worms in them. The manager was very rude and seemed agitated I needed help finding live worms. She didn't seem to care her store had containers of worms that were dead. She was very rude and not helpful at all

This place has a huge variety of pets and supplies to purchase. I felt the prices on some things were far too high and the staff were not friendly or helpful, kind of rude actually on this particular day.

I've always come here and love seeing all the pets. But seeing chiweener dogs in terrariums kinda icks me out. This is the second time they've done this. Please either reserve room for them or don't have them there at all.

The best pet store this side of Bozeman as far as I'm concerned! Always love to come here and they really take good care of the pets. Lots of variety too! Of course, there's always Elvis 🐍and Mesa and the cats to say hi to.

Been coming here for years. Today my wife was scolded for bringing our dog in. Telling us how we should raise our rescue pet who has anxiety. We have always had good times in pet stores with him, and he always benefits from it. But the older lady working was seriously rude to my wife about it. Will not be coming back. I guess small dogs aren’t allowed anymore? This place has always been great so I’m shocked.

Absolutely disgusting and extremely unethical. There was a cat on top of one of the reptile tanks, no vegetation for the leopard gecko, and no thermometer or hydrometer gauges in some of the other tanks, and they've got a puppy in a glass box. He isn't vaccinated, but is available for purchase for $2,000. What happens when nobody buys these puppies because they're too expensive?

This store does not care about animal safety or health.They had 2 chinchillas and 4 ferrets in the same cage separated by a level. Chinchillas are prey animals and ferrets, being obligate carnivores, are of course predators. They have a bunch of plastic in with the chinchillas which can cause major blockages and death. They have pig ears and rawhide in with the ferrets, which again choking, blockages awful! Poor ferrets had one water bottle for 4 ferrets when water bottles should never be used for obligate carnivores!They had 4 ball pythons, which should never be housed together, in the same cage. All the hamster water bowls were full of bedding and disgusting. The hedgehog had no heat source and only one small towel to hide under.I talked to them about the ferrets and chinchilla, and they didn't care and told me I know where the door is since I don't like it.Please do not give this business any of your money.

The good: they had a decent selection of breeds and animals, food and whatnotThe bad: not a single person greeted us or made us feel welcomed, never asked if we had any questions. The staff seemed irritable and too busy to be concerned with customers. I looked at the puppies but they were busy drinking their own urine off the floor.I was interested in the Guinea pigs but I was worried about their condition as it seemed their water or food hadn’t been properly cleaned or changed in days. The water was full of bedding, urine, and fecal matter, as well as their food. I felt so bad I almost asked if I could change the water out myself. I hope a health or animal inspector visits soon because those sweeties deserve better than that. Some of the Guinea pigs were also by themselves which is incredibly bad for their emotional well-being

I love this place!! All the staff is very knowledgeable in many different types of pets. The staff is very gentle and is a no muzzle facility when doing grooming and toe nails!! Only place I will bring my senior dog for nails.

I've never been impressed with the selection of freshwater fish. Lights are very dim, and it's hard to identify or even see the fish. Nothing in the aquarium section looked unhealthy, but some species seem to also be mislabeled (the lighting makes it difficult to tell). I would recommend other shops in the area.

I shop here frequently for my feeders, insects and rodents. Service is generally pretty good, staff is friendly and helpful. Today I stopped in and needed a feeder mouse. There was an individual in the rodent room so I asked if I could ask them for a rodent or if I should go to the check out counter and ask/ wait there. They seemed very perturbed that I had interrupted their work, sighed quite audibly and then begrudgingly said they would help me. I waited the approximate 2 or less minutes it took for them to box the mouse and when I reached out for it they withdrew it quickly and told me I had to go to the check out counter for it. It was quite rude, the entire interaction, but I was most annoyed by that part. Had the individual just communicated that to me in the beginning when I had asked I could have already rung up and paid by the time they were done. I realize being in the service industry it is frustrating having to pause your work frequently to help customers. But a little bit of communication would have helped both of us tremendously and frankly the employee didn't seem to want to help from the beginning. I'm quite disappointed with my experience today, I truly hope the employees are trained in better communication and customer service in the future.

Nobody's rude per se, but definitely not the friendliest nor funnest to talk to. Everything is marked up an absurd amount compared to standard retail. Often are out of feeders when they are the only "shop" that sells live feeders in town. They also sell some animals that most people would not be able to own and provide a high quality life to like water dragons, and other large lizards. But they do have some pets you do not find anywhere else locally in town and the staff are fairly knowledgeable. Again never had any issues with staff but they all seem like they don't like talking to people. Never see the manager either I think she only works when she needs to but also get the same vibe from the few times I've talked to her. Feels like she just wants you to buy your stuff and leave. 3 out of 5. Definitely a good place to look at and check out but probably not buy from when everything they sell can be sourced from more reputable breeders and a fraction of the cost online.

stores like this shouldn’t sell animals, they let you touch whatever you want and the kittens and puppies are probably from mills. if you want specific breeds (siamese or rag doll) please check your local shelters first, i promise you they might have one that needs a home, kittens too, and you’ll save yourself hundreds of dollars.

Hello, have you seen your latest reviews. Today my mother an law an I went to exotic pets an were looking at the puppies an one of the workers had a puppy out an was showing it to some customers an my mother in law went to see if she could pet the puppy an the worker freaked out an told her back the h*ll up. She was very rude an continued to tell her to back up when she already did. Very poor customer service and I will not recommend them to anyone an ensure to have them steer clear of them.
