I brought my dog in to watch the fish and do some training. The staff were very respectful and did not attempt to interfere with our training session. I didn't know cabelas offered a veterans discount and that is probably the only time I've ever been asked as a female veteran.Huey and I will be back for more training sessions and shopping trips! I was also impressed with their pet sections and scent training items.

Super friendly staff. Looking at pants and a nice gal pointed out where they were on the shelf a couple different times. When time to check out, there were only 2 however, another staff diverted much of the lines to other lines including the service counter. Surprisingly the pricing wasn't too bad! They don't carry every brand but that sorta made things a bit simple too. Love the Redhead brand!

Like most say in there review. Had to hunt someone down to find a boot in my size. Found someone, and he was helping me. Then gave me to the shoe lady how obviously hated her job. Brought out the boots for me to try on and went back to what she was doing. Didn't try to deal with me fitting it. Pulling teeth was the feeling when I would ask her opinion. Not terribly satisfied.

They had what we came for. It was a little disappointing how nonexistent the Simms gear was for women when they have a pretty great selection for men. They do have tons of columbia products and a giant sale rack.

Stood at knife counter for aproximately 20 minutes. Waited patiently for employee to finish with his current customer. He walks the customer over to a counter to allow the customer to finish his purchase and the employee never came back. He saw us there at the counter and literally never came back over. We left the store and did not buying nearly $400 in case knives we were hoping to collect. Unprofessional for the employee. He never even acknowledged us.

My first time at a Cabela’s it was unbelievable. Huge inventory. Great prices and I actually parked my RV in their parking lot for the night. They even have stalls for your horse and kennels for your dog if needed. I bought a gas burner so I can deep fry fish and wings on our trip. Plus a few other clothing items and hiking boots. I’m going to be a regular Joe at Cabela’s.

This Cabela's is pretty awesome. It is big and grand, with a high ceiling, beautiful taxidermy animals and strategically placed merchandise. The merchandise itself is mostly high quality, and a lot of it isn't actually overpriced. There is a charming little cafe in the corner of the store with wonderful fudge and wonderful staff. Staff in the rest of this sizable store are also quite nice and knowledgeable. And in terms of firearms, I was enthused to find out that they had AR-10's! Overall a wonderful store for the smart shopper or if you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

What can I say. It's Cabela's. Very friendly staff, and the prices are always pretty fair. The gun section seems to be slowly but surely downsizing, but hey, you can't blame them for that.

Honestly I’m incredibly disappointed it took me getting to black card status to realize I should’ve went to scheels when it comes to living in Billings. The store seriously just has nothing compared to the scheels here in Billings, the customer service is very very sub par. I’ve waited to be helped while trying to buy a gun or even acknowledged for over a half hour. I totally understand a lot of places are struggling with being under staffed.. but any time I go to scheels in Billings which is only when cabelas doesn’t have the merchandise I’m met with friendly faces and people constantly asking me if I need help. The main reason I went to cabelas is because it’s closer to where I live and initially thought it was worth the smaller store/less merchandise. I’m here to say it’s just not worth the convenience of the drive. Only reason I’m giving it two stars instead of one is because I truly just hope things can get better as I’ve invested a lot of money in being a club member and hope down the road they plan on making some changes. Sorry cabelas, but just do better…

The girl in the boot dept. was super helpful and friendly. The guy at the credit card counter was friendly, professional, and efficient. The people at checkout were friendly and courteous, even though we were there 10 min past closing. Really nice (and clean!) store with a great staff.

If your traveling, this is a must for a free overnight stop. They offer parking large enough for the largest RVs, pot-able water, a black tank dumping station (no charge) and a little set up to take your horses out at. What an awesome find!!! We have a solar set up and normally stay off-grid but this was a nice last minute find.We went inside and we're surprised to see that half of the store (at least) is dedicated to hunting. This Cabela's was absolutely beautiful and what a great experience. I took a photo of the gun room in the back. It's my husband's dream room 🤩
