My family and I enjoyed the welcoming environment. The beer was great and the staff super friendly. I had the Czech Pilsner, best I’ve had in a while. A little tight on sitting room, but excellent location in Big Sky, MT. Cheer!

Great brewery with solid beers. Cool atmosphere especially with the outdoor area out back.

Great spot with great beer options. Friendly staff and market across street solves the food need. Glitter Seltzer is worth a try

The cream ale and pale ale were fabulous for any light beer lovers- and the bartender kept us entertained and gave us great suggestions for our visit. We’d definitely go back!!

Friendly atmosphere & great beer, super dog friendly. Pro tip: if you’re hungry grab some Moose Deli up the street and bring it to enjoy with your brew.

Awesome locals micro for apres ski! Tasty imperial stout, malty IPA with a respectable abv, and "the best seltzer I've ever had" according to my better half. Dog friendly. Great atmosphere. Will be back on our next trip to BS...

Fun local brewery! Hosts a variety of events and keeps the beer atmosphere fresh. They had a full list of beers they brewed. Bar was full of locals and travelers and anyone's dogs! All dogs welcome inside on a leash. Great place and a fun stop while exploring big sky!

Awesome atmosphere! Good location. No food choices yet. 8 different beers today. Food truck out back but not that great, Cosmic catering. Needs their own food, really bad, but a great start. Definitely worth a taste!👍🏽

Awesome dog friendly brewery in Big Sky. Tried a few different beers (IPAs, sour) and everything was really tasty. Highly recommended

Great beer and friendly service. Growlers to go are excellent!! Super dog friendly and just a good place to relax and sip on a few brews. A must to stop by whenever in Big Sky! Good merch too!!! Also a good place to remote work. :-)I see other reviews mentioning that the staff isn’t very friendly…. Give ‘em a break. There’s a shortage of labor in Big Sky and the team is doing their best. They’ve never been unfriendly to me and I never witnessed that with others. Everyone there is friendly and just looking to have a good time. You can strike up a conversation with another patron if the team is too busy serving others. :-)

Got a coffee stout and it tasted flat and bland. My wife got a lager and had a similar experience. The staff also seemed too busy to really want or be able to help anyone who didn't seem local. Not planning to go back.

I’m from Lake Superior where clean beer and microbrew have set an extra snobby standard. The beer tastes so CLEAN and have a beautiful flavor for beers I don’t even gravitate to. I’m so impressed that every beer tasted full of flavor! The English Red was my favorite and was peanuty in an after taste! The smoked scotch ale was fantastic and one of my top favorite scotch ales! The winner of the evening was the unsuspecting Glitterous Seltzer that went perfect with our ordered in pizza from Blue Moon Bakery (onion, Italian sausage, pineapple and jalapeños) the PERFECT pairing with sweet and spicy pizza. A bonus is the amazing views of the mountains. Don’t sleep on this FANTASTIC brewery!

All the beer is made on-site. I had the Dictator Stout and my husband has the Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter. Absolutely delicious! Bought a sandwich from the market to share, perfect snack before our next hike of the day! The owner or brewer must have a sense of humor as the beverage names are interesting. They have a sign that says: unattended children will be given espresso and a puppy. Dog friendly as long as you’re a responsible owner. Back after hike 2. The Saison is smooth and the U Prickly Pear Seltzer is super refreshing and a pretty pink color. Our server was nice and friendly.

Really great beer! Upbeat, convivial atmosphere and nice views (I mean, Big Sky!). Quite a few selections, and several with very high ABV. Options run the spectrum. Will be a regular on my ski days and more.

Best brewery that I have found during my vacation in Montana. I've hit about 6. Their quality is superb. If you like coffee Porters get the .50 cal. Also the Dictator Imperial Stout had a very complex choclate taste for 9.8%.

You know how, a lot of times, breweries and bars in tiny towns are average at best because, well, they don't really have to be great? Yeah, that's not Beehive Basin.First, the view and open-air vibe are fantastic. We tried 4 beers total and each was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Me No Cadillac milkshake IPA, but we also created a concoction of the coffee porter mixed with cream ale and enjoyed that. There's no food here, but you can bring your own. Due to COVID, they implemented something we thought was genius - they're using an app for out-of-towners, to limit contact with strangers. So you setup the app (2 minutes), then verbally let the beertender know your name and order. He adds your beers to the virtual tab and then you pay it in-app. You still get the interaction, but more safely - no need for exchanging cash/cards. We wish other places would use this!

Yeah, you'll definitely enjoy this place. They have some very good pale ales, but if they have the CDA on tap, make sure to include it in your flight. Super chill.

This place is incredible! I have been on a tour of Montana Breweries and have visited over 50ish in the last several months. Beehive Basin is in the top 5. Every beer I tried was balanced, clean, and delicious. I loved them all! Lifelong fan :)

Good beer in an open and friendly taphouse. Nice patio area with lots of food options available close by (no on premise food). It would be nice if they were open a bit later than 8pm.

Don't patronize if you're an ikon pass holder. From the stickers on the posts they don't want tourists to spend money there. I guess they expect to grow a business from the 4000 people that live in town. I recommend Lone Peak Brewery. No 3 beer limit, delicious food, friendly people, and no mountian bs politics. This aggression will not stand man. The dude does not abide.

Super chill spot! So glad we stopped in. Servers are friendly and the beer is cold. Decent craft selections (~10) and the IPA they make is awesome. Deli next door and it’s cool to bring over a sandwich and chill.

This was an amazing find in Big Sky. I stopped in for a flight, and their East Meets West IPA has now become one of my favorites. The staff is amazing, and I loved the variety of seasonal beers they have on tap. Definitely worth a visit after a day on the slopes or exploring Yellowstone!
