I don't understand all of the negative reviews. This is a nice little, small town gas station. A little bit spendy, but that can be expected at small-town gas stations. The biggest complaint I've seen is about people who stopped to use the bathroom. They're not a roadside toilet. It's common courtesy to buy something if you're going to use a bathroom. Apparently people are too entitled to understand that.

The owner was very rude. We were traveling and my 4 year old daughter suddenly had to pee so we stopped. I went in looking for the bathroom and didn’t see a sign. Asked him about it and he said he doesn’t have any public restrooms and asked if we planned to buy something.It isn’t so much the policy I have a problem with, but the rude and condescending way he said it and the fact that he wouldn’t let a little kid use the restroom when they’re desperate.I understand policies that reserve bathrooms for customers only. But most places make exceptions for little kids.Also, they require you spend at least $1 per person who uses the restroom.I would not recommend supporting this business. Travel to another exit and shop there. You’ll be treated much better.Editing this to add: we saw reviews on here that others were overcharged and scammed for their purchases. As they had required we spend a certain dollar amount per restroom user my husband had paid very close attention to the price. The item he bought was $2.89 and he was charged $2.99. Now I agree, ten cents isn’t much, but if they are doing things like this to everyone, that adds up to a lot of stolen money. Check your receipts, pay attention to what they charge you, and if they over charge you call your bank.

Massive trap just off the freeway to Billings. If you need to get gas or snacks you're sure to be overcharged. Staff is unreasonably rude. The policy that you need to make a purchase before using the bathroom is fine, but when you treat customers that kind of way all the while scamming them..? You're better off holding it until you're closer to town or using their lot.

I don’t shop here due to the rudeness of the employees and owners, I recommend going a cross the tracks in worden where there friendly and you can get gas after hours without paying inside. You can pay at the pump at Valley. This place has the worst customer service.

Gas pumps are a rip off, had my truck 6 years, it has a 24 gallon tank, somehow I got 25.5 gallons in it lol I told her thinking maybe they were unaware and she said nah they just had it done don't need it for another year

Great little old school gas station with old school pumps too. Friendly cashier (I'm guessing the owner) and got to meet the shop wiener dog, Toby. There should be more gas stations like this, focused on people and the basics. I'll drive a few extra miles to gas up here from now on to support a great local business.

Slow, dated pumps plus tacking on an undisclosed $4+ convenience fee for paying with a credit card. Presumably they can do this because there are so few gas options on this stretch of freeway.

the seller, a gray-haired old man, was not allowed into the toilet and said that he closed it and was not going to open it, although I bought a pack of cigarettes from him. I do not advise you to go there .

Lady that runs it was very unfriendly. She started a quarrel because her bathroom is for customers only. I filled my tank (noticed the price per gallon was 0.15 cents higher than other places) and she wouldn't let the two people that I was traveling with use the restroom unless they bought something individually. I had just bought 25 gallons of gas. I urge readers to continue down the interstate to the next gas station. Avoid.

Stopped at 11 pm and it was closed, hauling horses from a show in Canada going to AZ. Needed to rest for 30 minutes.....some lady came and knocked on our window to tell us the owner doesn't like people parking after hours and we had to leave. My husband said we just needed 30 minutes to which the woman replied too bad you will have to go somewhere else, the owner doesn't like it. Then proceeded to walk away towards a trailer park in the dark. I'm sorry, but you have a public business, the are NO SIGNS saying you can't park after hours, and we aren't even out of our truck! Just absolutely rude and uncalled for!!

We were running very low on fuel. There are very little options around this area of the highway but we’re happy to see signs for this gas station. We get there and it’s not even open. No credit card readers or attendant. We did not have enough gas to get to the next gas station:(

They should get a zero star rating. Driving through Montana we stopped for drinks and snacks. My daughter ran in first to use the restroom but was yelled at by the man behind the counter that she had to buy something first. I walked in and told her to go use the restroom while the rest of us shopped. He then started yelling at all of us “we don’t have public restrooms, our restroom is for paying customers only”. We left without using the restroom and did not buy anything.

You can only get gas here when they are open -- pumps are vintage, so no pay at the pump ability. They are only open limited hours, so don’t waste your gas trying to come here to refuel..!

Hello to all. This is a great little store. They try to supply the basic needs. They do charge a little more for fuel due to location. If you want a great deal on fuel drive a few more miles. I am greatful they are here for the locals.

The owners there are very rude. Prices are expensive and I've been a resident of Ballantine for 18 years. Many of our locals also claim they have had many issues with this family being disrespectful. I advise all of you to take your business across the railroad tracks in Worden and go to Valley Farmer's Supply gas station. They are very kind people!

If this could give 0 stars I would. You have to pay to use the restroom or buy something. If you choose to buy something there is a minimum required price. Plus the lady was SUPER rude.

The lady who runs this store is extremely rude, not only to my family and I but to the other couple there at the same time as us. Don't waste your time or give them your business, just drive the extra mile to Cenex for gas.

Well placed station. Not a lot of fuel options coming from the east. Luckily its downhill from the free way exit because we coasted from there in. Gentleman running the place seemed nice. Diesel was reasonably priced.

Passing through and stopped for fuel. The owners were standing right outside the front door smoking and I had to wait for them to finish their cigarette to pay for fuel. I won't ever stop here again....

This place is a total scam! There's no counter on the stations, the ladycharged me $21.17 for a quarter tank, when a full tank typically costs me about 30!! Watch your receipts and report this place
