First time we've gotten a clean room at a motel that accepts pets. Our two small dogs went to the door when they needed out because the room was so clean. All other places we've been to, I've had to constantly watch them so they wouldn't try to use it in the room. If we're ever back in the area we will definitely stay there. Have no complaints.Rooms: Very comfortable bed. I have nothing negative to say. Very nice well kept motel.

For older motel it has great lighting around to grounds at night and good security camera. Room was clean. Nice and peaceful stay! Very friendly owner. Very clean hotel room. We stayed 2 nights in Ashland after our vehicle broke down while traveling to Iowa. The owner was kind enough to allow us to leave our car to be hauled off by a wrecker. It was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.Rooms: Very clean nice size tv and dish network worked great. Internet was a bit spottySafety: Seemed very safe we had no problems.Walkability: Only gas stations close by the other restaurants seem like a bit of a hike.

Being an East coast resident we attempted to stay off major highways to avoid traffic. But doing that unknowingly placed us in a situation where no lodging, restaurants, few gas stations exist on our road of travel. After hours of travel, no food, and tired we came upon this motel. We got one of the last rooms available. Thank you proprietor for running this business on the backroads of Montana. Fancy? No. Warm, dry, safe? Yes.

The beds are nice and soft. The pillows hold support. They allow animals. And the water never got cold. My only complaint is that my shower didn't have enough pressure. I look forward to eating breakfast tomorrow.

Wonderful staff, the room was very clean. There are a few spots in the bathroom to touch up from people not using the fan but other than that a great stay. The bed is firm but that is how i prefer mine to be.

It seems to be a trucker's or industrial worker's place to crash for the night. Although it is fairly clean our room was small and not well cared for maintenance wise. The small amount of trash from the previous tenant had not been emptied.We arrived shortly after 4:00 pm and the motel office was closed even though the convenience store clerk said they were sold out. She made a call and someone arrived shortly to check us in. Good WiFi, decent fridge and coffee maker; minimal TV channels, no clock radio or microwave. We used the microwave in the co-located convenience store without issues. The bed was comfortable.For $50 it was a place to get some sleep in the middle of nowhere.

Stayed one night last week, people were friendly, but the place was not clean. There were various kinds of hair and dirt rings in the tub. I mean it's $40/night and I needed a bed so it worked. I did not shower because the tub was that bad (and did not drain, so can't even wear flip flops in tub), but the bed was soft and they have good toilet paper. For one night, you can make it work, but you'll not stay again. Shame too. They have a great spot, too bad they don't do more with the place

My family and I traveled from Ohio to Washington with our car and a uhaul along 90 and the 212 thru Montana. It was dark late cold and snowing heavy and the owners made the trip to the hotel to accommodate the 5 of us. They gave us a huge room for a decent price. I appreciate their hospitality.

A little difficult to find off of interstate 15 in Helena, I was able to find it on the second try. The gentleman, Ron (?), behind the front desk as the Guest Service Agent was one of the most cordial, professional, lackadaisical and genuinely helpful customer service people I've ever met. I have a tendancy to either lose or demagnetize my keys with regularity and last night was no different. He was efficient, very pleasant while reminding me of the complimentary breakfast. He presents nothing extraordinary, but excellent customer service skills; extraordinary in and of itself. The room was reasonably priced, the morning staff clumsy and loud, and I think a blanket wouldn't be unreasonable as it is no longer summer. They cover the beds with these half blanket/ half sheet-like coverlet that is just silly. A good experience nontheless.

Didn't expect much for being a super old "budget" motel, but was disappointed with what we actually got. Was over priced, more of a $60 hotel then what we paid. Think hostel with private room. Had to run the shower on 100% hot to get it even warm enough to shower.

Interesting little motel for $40 total. Small room with flat screen, mini-fridge, coffeemaker No pictures on the walls or bed headboard, just a clean room with a nice bath, table and 2 chairs and small night stand. If you just need a room this is great for the money.

There is not much expectation when renting a $40 room, but this place is exactly what you imagined. Its small, cheap, old, cramped, and remote. What is does right that other similar motels dont is CLEAN, and that my google friends is worth its weight in gold. Highly reccomened if you are out this way and just need a clean warm bed to fall into.

Place was clean and the only place to stay within a 855,000 mile radius. Staff was very friendly... I think I left a shirt in the room.Hopefully they will send it to me and I'll mail them some $$$ for doing it. :)
