I always temper my expectations when I walk in a restaurant and see video poker machines. This place caters to a certain customer and it's not people looking for a good meal with a view of the river. The view was blocked by tarps. I guess there might be construction in progress. Basic order taking skills seemed beyond the capability of our server who was otherwise a lovely person. My rib eye was cooked as ordered but not a prime cut of meat. I would have loved the loaded baked potato I ordered, twice during the ordering process, but never got. Bright spot was my cocktail was just fine. Some other meals like the pasta and the fish and chips looked promising.

Very warm and inviting atmosphere. They staff were all the most friendly, conversational and helpful of any I've seen in a while. The food was good and the price was reasonable even low considering it was steak that we ordered. The restaurant is right on the river just like its name implies so the views were beautiful. They have a full bar and if you're into bourbon whiskey Scotch they have 72 different brands. They have shuffleboard darts and a small Casino room as well. Very inviting to stay a while after dinner. Also it was only about a 30-minute drive out of Missoula. Totally worth it for a change of pace.

If I could rate the food a zero I would. My family is sick and was tired, so I thought I'll just order from Rivers Edge. It's 5 mins away. 3 burgers, house salad and cheese sticks. I'll start with the cheese sticks- bit into it and grease pour out! And they tasted like they were cooked in fish oil. The burgers were not cooked all the way. I asked for well done and they were so under cooked I had to cook them till they were done. I'm not sure what is going on with this kitchen, but it's definitely NOT resort cooking. And the cherry on top, they charge you $.25 per to go container. I mean why not just put the cost in the price of the meal? The menu online DOES NOT state you are charged EXTRA to go. I dropped $50 and the food was barely edible. I will not be eating here again. It's sad too because we do not have any restaurants out this way in Alberton.

Hands down the absolute BEST dining experience!! Our waitress (did not catch her name she blonde hair in a ponytail) was so sweet and kind. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! I like my meats beyond well done, my husband likes his blue (beyond rare) this was the ONLY place to get both of our orders made perfection!! We have not stopped talking about it since we left. We were able to park our semi truck across the street and enjoy our time at dinner and then a walk down to the bank of the river where we watched trout jumping all around. An incredibly peaceful time. We will stop here every single time we get a routed this direction!! If you have not visited here you are seriously missing out on a treat.

Beautiful spot on the river about 15ft steep embankment. Nice trees with full hookups. The odd train and highway noise varies but not too bad. Food at the bar was good. Easy on and off the interstate. AT&T cell service is great. Good place for a stop off for a day or two.

Great Rv spot, yes there is some road noise and a train track near by. However, the price is great and the employees were very friendly. It's also nice to have river access and a great restaurant onsite.

The food was decent, and priced accordingly, however, we waited nearly an hour for food and they were not extremely busy. The bartender was “too busy” to make a Caesar. This is the third time I’ve been here, every time I leave disappointed. The interior is well appointed and nice, however the service leaves much to be desired, and they are often out of many things on the menu.

been here in the past several times. new owner needs to train staff.... greeter does not smile... waited 10 minutes before someone came to table.... that was after I asked someone walking by if we could get some service. waitress staff never looks up..in fact... they look away. we like good customer service.... this place does not have it.... new owner is loosing business... a shame. always liked this place in past.... hope they get act together. all staff should be taught to smile and greet customers.... this is a training issue. good luck!

On recommendation from a resident in Missoula, river views in the snow were beautiful and the service was prompt. Ordered a French dip and rare as it may seem had au jus left over. Steak fingers were tender and delicious.

We were driving from Glacier NP to Spokane and really in the mood for good filling quality steak for dinner. River Edge Steakhouse was perfectly at the midpoint of the trip on I-90 and man was it worth the wait for this place! High quality steak with a diverse efficient menu that even has a salad bar!

This restaurant is situated just off I-90, along the Clark Fork river. There is a small motel and RV park on the property. The views are wonderful and there are stairs that lead down to the river.I gave this restaurant 4 stars and my wife gave it three. The reason for the three stars were because the fries were slightly soggy and the bread they used for the loaded (Swiss, mushroom, and onion) roast beef sandwich did not hold up well. It was like the bread they used had to be defrosted. It would have been better if they had used a French roll or similar crusty bread.I ordered the fried chicken. This came out fresh, piping hot, and delicious. I would have rated this 5 stars but unfortunately the fries were sub par. They needed more time in the oil or at a slightly hotter temperature. (I wonder if they went in right after my chicken..)The server was very nice and attentive. There are video gaming machines also. I actually won a fair amount of money while playing! The establishment also has a full bar along with take-out liquor.Overall, I do recommend this establishment!👍

Nice smaller RV park right on the banks of the Clark Fork River. Great restaurant bar small casino and tiny liquor store all in one. everything I had from the restaurant was absolutely wonderful with a great menu and friendly service spaces are a bit narrow for most rigs but they can accommodate a few larger eggs there's only 13 spots in the park so make your reservations early close and easy freeway access. laundry and showers are fine clean and get the job done for you enjoy your stay.

While traveling across the country and I found this restaurant overlooking a River. Food was good for what it was. Waitress was fine but seemed a bit fed up with the day. Food was what you'd expect. For a steakhouse, there weren't many steak options. Empty casino, honestly could probably just do without it. Good if you just need to stop and eat. Cabins close by seem like a good spot to rest.

We were staying at the motel next door so I ate here a few times, and can highly recommend. Extremely friendly staff (I even forgot my wallet one day and they trusted me to start a tab for my meal!). Their breakfast potatoes were by far my favorite thing -- perfectly crispy and a great side to my eggs. The coffee was fantastic one morning and a little weak the next time -- very minor.

No hot water to the rooms and riverside beach and fire pit area are under construction, so no river access. Fresh towels have to be refreshed by a walk to the check-in office to exchange dirty ones because room maids are not allowed to give out towels. The sheets smelled of dog. This does not surprise me with no hot water. Construction and water heater repair will take a while, according to front desk, because of construction delays.So maybe next year will be better if repairs and construction are complete.

Great! Simple, but great. The coffee was good, the BLT was perfect... This place is in the middle of nowhere and there's hardly any advertising for it... It's nothing fancy but totally did the trick.The waitress/staff was so nice too. Also, the location is really beautiful... The restaurant inside isn't amazing, but they have a back area that's really sunny and it has big windows right next to the river. So cute. A nice stop on our long drive.
