My husband and I visited the Stillwater Bar and Grille during their soft opening. We made reservations, and we were welcomed by the owner at the door. The server attendant was prompt in getting and delivering our drink orders. The server was also prompt and knowledgeable with the ordering process. Each of them made menu suggestions and we could not have been happier with our choices. Chef has provided a creative and scrumptious menu....from my lobster risotto to the lemon blueberry cheesecake and bread pudding! Every single person was warm and inviting....it was easy to see that they are enjoying their jobs! It was like fine dining wrapped up in a hometown hug!

A house salad was $15 and cost $8 to add about 3oz of chicken. I opened the box while I waited for her to grab the rest of the food and I said “oh this was supposed to be no tomato” and she looked at me and didn’t say anything so I said “ok I guess I’ll pick them off” and she didn’t apologize or anything. She also told me that the dressing was “whatever the box says on top” but the box said blue cheese and it was ranch. Plus there’s a $1.50 take out fee that she didn’t tell me about over the phone. I’ve attached the photo of the $23 salad 🤣

A not-so-hidden gem in the middle of nowhere!We had the Buffalo Jump burger, artichoke dip and crabs cakes off of the menu as well as the salad bar. Everything was totally fantastic! Couple with cold beer on tap, Rombauer wines (Amazing!) and old fashioned service with a smile and I can heartily recommend them as worth the trip.

Probably just a bad day but my over medium eggs were runny raw whites, the bacon and toast were good. I'm not into Jimi Hendrix for breakfast and any business not emptying the dumpster is a concern to me, but like I said... Probably just a bad day. But I'm a one and done guy, and often wondered why this property doesn't thrive. Several worthy chefs have attempted it. My breakfast was $10 and I paid with a $20 and got two $5s back for change so I felt forced to tip 50% for a 10% experience. I wasn't gonna review but Google maps won't delete my visit and I'm tired of seeing it on my page.

Little hidden gem in the mountains. I ordered the cowboy(?) dip and my mother got the bison burger with cheese curds. My dip was phenomenal and the burger was good as well. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Service was great too! Very mom and pop down home feeling. Absolutely recommend if you’re heading to or from Stillwater.

I had the ribeye and salmon chowder it was out of this world. I will have to take pictures next time, I devoured my meal before I thought about it but I did get a picture of dessert.

Dining is so limited in this area, I was hoping for something better.Saturday lunch and we'regreeted with 5-6 things they're out of. Chicken, taco meat, lemonade, etc. None of the desserts you see pictured. Fish and chips was the worst I've had. Greasy and dry, and no malt vinegar available. No healthy choices to sub for all the fries. Small, dry prime rib sandwich. I guess if you just want a burger/fries/beer you're in luck. Those were decent. Overly priced, mediocre food. Big disappointment.

A stunning drive to The Stillwater Grille leads you to a mouthwatering menu and excellent service! We've been waiting for a spot like this for a long time, but it was worth it! From buffalo meatloaf to oysters Rockefeller to homemade Baklava, every bite knocks it out of the park! We look forward to having them around for a long time. Kudos!!!

We sampled several different items on the menu and found this place to be absolutely a destination for dinner. The meals are creative, delicious, service is prompt and friendly and they have a wonderful wine list. We will definitely be making this our go to restaurant.

Not what it used to be. New owners/operators as of 2023. The prices are high and the food quality is a lot lower. Still a nice stop for dinner or lunch if your in the area. They have added a Casino in the back, which is a Montana thing f you don’t know. Comes with the liquor license. It’s a downgrade on any restaurant in my opinion. The volume of conversation and music can also be an issue. I love both, but one liquored up table and you’ll yelling at your date across the table.

On March 3 & 4, they were serving only prime rib ($34 and $44) and a salad bar. They were serving nothing else on their menu due to staff needing a couple of days off. They posted no heads up on their website or on their Specials sign near their entrance. The few staff working tonight had the unpleasant task of telling visitors of their limited menu and dealing with their disappointment. So if you want to go there, call first to ensure 1) they are open and 2) offer more than one entree. Otherwise, you might make the long trip for nothing.

Went with a group of four Military friends had the Rib Eye and Bison Meatloaf. Food was out of this world, service was fantastic, staff couldn't have been better. Will definitely be going back for seconds!

I was in from out of town exploring the area and stopped in here for a bite to eat. What a gem! Service was awesome, super friendly, and the burger was one of the best I’ve had! I highly recommend this place!

Overpriced. I got ribeye, and it was good; my husband got delicious lobster risotto. Deserts were so small and cost $12 😆 very overpriced because it is not something special or different it is simple food.
