AMAZING service! I was greeted when I walked in and asked if I needed any help. Very nice selection of meats! I pucked up a bunch of brats of different flavors, some ground beef, and snack sticks. The Ghost Peper sticks are FIRE!! The flavor and heat are perfect. Stop in and check them out!

Just dropped off my deer today. Without even tasting the product, i give them 5 out of 5 stars for how friendly the service was. Great people there. They even voluntarily let me and friend sample their snack sticks just to be nice. Great experience!

Very rude lady. I came into the store and she sat on the phone gossiping with a friend laughing and ignoring me for 20 minutes then finally a young lady came in from her smoke break and came behind the counter and helped me, but then advised me that she wouldn’t except my credit card for an order of less than $10 I decided to leave because why should it matter how much I’m spending with my credit card as long as I am purchasing meat from you, and shame on you, for the heavyset lady who works behind your counter very rude , i’ve been coming to your meat market for over 30 years and have never been treated this way now I will never come and give you my business again instead, I will be going to Haneys market from now one

Stopped in Memorial Day Saturday. We got there during the last hour of business so the fresh cuts were pretty empty. That is to be expected, they were closing in about 20 minutes. The frozen section had lots to choose from. We picked up a T-bone, a variety of brats and some pineapple sausage. EVERYTHING was GREAT! We will be return customers. The folks behind the counter were very personable and friendly. A great experience.

I live within a mile for the past 12 years... FINALLY stopped by a month ago, I was a Manino’s shopper. Best brats and sausage I’ve ever had! No other beef franks comes close to how delicious theirs are. Beef cuts are fresh and and fair priced. Will only purchase my beef and pork from them for now on.Seriously, if you’re a fan of brats... check them out. They have over a dozen flavors!

Dropped my deer off opening Saturday morning and received a phone call the next Thursday morning stating my meat was ready for pickup. I picked it up Sunday and my deer sausage was all ready at the same time. Thoroughly impressed with speed and flavor of my sausage. I have been taking my deer here for over 30 years now and always flawless service. Great place and great folks.

I have never had anything processed there so can't comment on that service, but everything else was pretty decent. Prices are good but not great. And yes, it does have an old school meat market smell, if you think large stacks of meat shouldn't have a smell, there are lots of supermarkets for you.

Staff extremely rude! Had appointment to have a cow slaughtered that was made 7 months ago. They called 5 days before we where scheduled to deliver and asked us to bring a day early, we agreed and then the day before they called and canceled

Took up my deer this year after a month it was ready. Got it home and it smelled like it was going bad tasted it it was. Took it up to be replaced and had to argue that fact. Great customer service(sarcasm). They finally replace half my order and after some hear say on the cleanliness practices or lack of I'll never eat anything the touched. Worst experience at a butcher shop ever and pretty much wasted my deer.

Very rude staff. It's almost as you're inconveniencing them by walking into their store. Some old lady behind the counter basically lied to my face about an interaction between her and I the phone I guess to save face in front of the other workers. Was in the store 30 seconds - rude exchange with the lady - walked out without saying a word. Won't be back.

Hands down, the best meat market in this part of the country. I have been dealing with Wright City Meat since the 1980’s. Never had a bad experience. Customer Service is great. Facility is clean. Meat orders have always been right. I highly recommend this place.

Very poor customer service. On my last visit the person working the counter would not even turn to look in my direction when she answered my question. I guess she had something better to do than wait on customers. The freezer section was almost empty and she told me they would be that way until fair season. There are too many other meat markets to be treated like I was treated. They lost a customer that day.

I’ve been going to butcher shops all over the country. This place was by far the worst. I should have known better, but was with a friend and didn’t want to appear rude. We purchased a few vac pack porterhouses. The place had that “almost rotten” smell. We got back to where we were staying and after opening the meat it was still smelling “off”. The clerk claimed they “wet age” their meat. Grilled the meat like normal and I could not finish my steak. First time I can remember that I threw an unfinished steak away.Their version of wet aging is not the accepted method. Something is wrong with the place and how it is operated.

Very displeased with my recent experience here. I called 12/20 and asked if they had any fresh pork hicks. I was told "we will have some tomorrow". I said ok, great! I will drive in tomorrow to pick them up. Before I drove in (about 40 minutes drive for me), I decided to call ahead because they had been flakey in the past. The lady that answered was very flippant, and told me "You missed it by about 30 minutes. He has already added them to the curing mixture." I told her that I had called the previous day and told them that I would be in to pick them up. She cuts me off and asks me "Did you put in an order?". Well, I thought I did by calling the previous day. She then tells me that she didn't see a post-it Note on the board and she can't do anything. She also tells me that they can order some for next week. Unfortunately for me, I needed these for Christmas. I won't be ordering from them again. 3rd strike, and you are out. I went to Global Foods in Kirkwood and they had exactly what I needed. I didn't even need to call ahead. Very poor customer service from Wright City Meat Market.

I know that Wright City Meats has taken a hit in reviews and as a long time customer I would like to say two things - the problems that occurred was under different ownership from an idiot out of Arkansas. Gary and his wife are the best there is when it comes to processing. I have processed no less than 50 head of cattle with them and I will continue to do so without reservation.

POOR customer Service! Ordered 1/4 cow 5 weeks ago, told it would take 2 weeks. Have called to check 2x and told they would call me back with an update. Never got a call back. Finally after 5 weeks found out today they still didn't even have the cow (once they get it it takes 2 more weeks). Canceled the order and told them to refund the deposit. I will just go to Brown's meat processing to get it instead.

Took my deer here last year and never heard back from them. I paid for the processing up front and their phone just rings off the hook when you call. I haven't even been able to get my money back and who knows what they did with my deer. Take your business elsewhere.

I have nothing nice to say about this place. Not only are they very disorganized, their ( owner or manager, a short bald man with obvious short man issues ) was very rude when i pointed out that after waiting for over a half an hour of waiting and given the run around that i didnt appreciate it.I was told if i didnt like it, i could go elsewhere. So guess what, i did.

Totally unorganized. Dropped off my deer mid November, now going into 2nd week of January and they haven’t even started processing my meat. Seems new ownership has lack of experience and did not align resources appropriately. I will never drop off another animal here.
