My mom and I needed a place to stay for the night passing through with our dogs. Due to the eclipse everything was full and I had a reservation in Springfield but we were all tired after being in the car all day coming from east Tennessee back to Oklahoma and trying to avoid Memphis. I was nervous about it bc these places can be "iffy" but I was pleasantly surprised! The beds are really old but she has comfy memory foam toppers on them. It's an old place with old carpet and furniture but it was really really clean and we relaxed and our dogs were welcomed and relaxed. I would most definitely stay here again. The owner at the desk was friendly and inviting and we met a few nice people also passing through and stopped there and all said the same thing we did. Don't be fooled by the old things bc it's a great place to rest and have a warm shower.

Considering there's no other hotels nearby, Motel 60 isn't a total wreck. But while the room was "clean", it isn't comfortable. It's priced for what it is. The ac was cold and helped drown out the noise from the highway. The double beds were soft and unsupportive. The red neon lights outside the window bleed through the broken blinds and illuminate the room. The air-freshener in the corner was strong but probably smelled better than the air it was covering up. Not the worst night I've had in a motel but certainly memorable. I would not stay here again.

The owner, Katie, is a darling and deserves your business. She runs a no frills motel that is comfortable and clean. I have never experienced better customer service in my whole life.There is WiFi, towels, soap and shampoo, a microwave and fridge, and clean beds for you.I was a hiker on the Ozark Trail and I had to bail due to medical issues. I was able to recover and get back on trail thanks to Katie.Do not pet her dogs over the railing! They are good pooches but they are not there for you to pet.

We set up a last minute float trip and we were not able to get lodging in Eminence so we stayed here at Motel 60 in Winona...This place was great. We got there the day before our float and Katie gave us directions to some really neat places to hang out for the day. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I like to keep the room really cool and the AC did a great job. The fire pit area was perfect for hanging out in the evenings and the firewood was provided. Would definitely recommend. PS Katie thanks for the tomatoes they were delicious

If you're looking for a bidet, you might want to keep on looking. If you're looking for a hot tub room, move along. If you're looking for clean sheets and really close proximity to the some of the best clean water Missouri has to offer, stop here. There might be a couple of paint chips missing from the wall but it's clean, there is Wi-Fi, there are no bugs minus one small daddy long leg. Think he got in the front door though. The bathroom was clean and the beds were so comfortable we were really surprised how good we slept. All in all, no complaints. So if you're not super prissy or spoiled rotten and you need a bidet in your room then this place is great. We'd go there again in a heartbeat.

Me and my fiance' found this place by chance. Very quiet, and very clean. Felt like we were at home instead of a hotel. Clean fresh sheets and towels smelled so good. Best of all they accept pets, we won't stay anywhere without our big baby (dog). This is a private owned place and we will definitely go out of our way to stay there if we are ever back that way. 5 stars!

Oh how blessed I was tonight to find this place. I spend about 26 days out of the month in motels and I will say this is one of the best ones I have found. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it is a very clean and quiet place to relax. They don’t have coffee pots in the room, but I carry my own because several don’t. They do have mini fridge and microwave and satellite TV and 2 very nice sitting areas outside. It’s not the ritz, but honestly if you’re traveling peace and quiet is the best medicine. So come sit by the fire pit and relax. Yes, I said fire pit. And a grill if you want to cookout. Don’t pass it by. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I haven’t felt this relaxed on the road in a long time.

We have taken a trip to see the elk at Peck's Ranch for the last 3 yrs and have not found a place we liked as much as Motel 60. The motel is older and if you are looking for fancy then this isn't your place. But if you are looking for a clean friendly place, then Motel 60 is it. We will be staying there from now on when we take our yearly elk trip. The owner is a hard working lady that is as nice and helpful as you can find. I feel like we went in as stranger's but left with several new friends. The owner does her best to make you feel right at home even offering us fresh tomatoes right off the vine. That does not happen at a Corporate Chain! I guess what I am saying is I was glad to find Motel 60 and give my money to a home owned establishment. See you next year Katie and Thank You for a wonderful stay.

Clean rooms, someone is there 24 hours a day so perfect for a last minute booking. Smoking or non smoking. 2 queen sized beds. When COVID restrictions are lifted, they allow hunters, campers etc. to use unoccupied rooms to shower for $5.00. They advertise no pets but for a small fee as long as it's been treated for ticks & fleas, shots and housebroken.

I have to admit I was sceptical of this place but it was great. $60 for one nite, had very good pillows and the bed was very comfortable.and felt very safe staying there. Would Stay again for sure.

A no frills place that has really come through for us many times when camping. Very affordable, comfy beds with a restaurant behind the motel. Can't ask for much more and saves the hassle with the tent when floating on the current or exploring the Ozarks.

We stayed here because there was no other option and it was old and run down. The beds were clean and the little restaurant next door was really nice.Someone really needs to build a new hotel or two in the area.

Checked in late, owner wasn't pleased but was on site. Wifi didn't pick up well so don't count on that. Clean and simple place that served its needs as a budget hotel. I felt safe there. There's a fire pit and coffee pots if you request it. Stayed in a smoking room and it didn't smell too bad, considering. Will stay again when in the area.

If you're looking for bells and whistles, not your place. It if you want to leave feeling more like you've stayed over with friends than just found a bed for the night, this is it. Its up to you, of course if you check in and never leave your room until departure, you will miss the experience. Slow down, have a couple of home baked cookies, and sit out on the porch in the evening for a visit.

We hit a deer in our uhaul and the woman running the motel was so nice and very helpful. Very nice and clean rooms. The blankets and sheets was fresh and smelled good. I deffinately recommend this motel.

Wow Let say we had been on the road since 3 am amd its 9 pm at night and I called and asked for a room she said when u get here go to door I'll let you in!! My husband stood there ringing the bell forever it's 24 degrees outside he gets in Tha car I call her and she says ARE YOU DRUNK ? IF SO IM NOT LETTING YOU IN !! I SAID DRUNK ??? IVE BEEN ON THE ROAD EXHAUSTED LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE TO SLEEP !!! WOW IM disgusted we just left !! She was very unprofessional and what about people driving and if they were drunk and wanted to get a room to sober up you can't even let them get somewhere safe !!! She was a nightmare!! Make sure yall pass this place up !! Do not stay there

I would rather stay at Bates Motel.. Their website is a complete sham and totally false. Nothing On Their Website Exists At This location. They Had to have copied it from another hotel site. NO amenities at all, not even an ice machine. Run down, dirty, don't let the log cabin look on the exterior fool you. Drive 20 minutes down the road or take a chance sleeping in your car!!Never, Never stay here!

Food was delicious and service was great. Prices are reasonable. Nice and clean Cafe. I didn't go to the motel..just to El's Cafe, but it won't let me post just El's Cafe.
