The owners of this kennel are super nice, friendly, and accommodating. They are very quick to respond to questions or concerns.The runs that are referred to on their site are not outdoor runs. (This was my fault for assuming they were.) They are set up like at the humane society where it is two indoor kennels separated by a small dog door that can be closed. If you want your dog to go outside during their trip, I definitely recommend you pay for walks or group play time.I also recommend paying for a bath, our dogs came home after staying for a week very smelly because the kennel is their bathroom.I paid for two kennels so our dogs could be together other than to eat, and the owner assured me that wouldn’t be a problem. But they were never together. They stayed separated the whole time.While the owners seem like great people, this definitely wasn’t what I was expecting and our dogs probably won’t be going back. I didn’t know our dogs wouldn’t be going outside unless I paid for it so they sat in their kennel for 8 days straight without being combined to be comfortable in a very uncomfortable, unfamiliar environment.

I have never kenneled my dogs anywhere. I am so glad a friend recommended them to me! They kept us updated about them and my youngest(and biggest baby) not eating. They did everything they could think of to make her comfortable! My other two dogs are older and don’t have the separation anxiety like my youngest. They did great. So glad we found them and excited to plan our next trip!

Roeslers Kennels did a great job taking care of my Pug, Gussie.They took care of her for 10 days. She was clean and happy when we picked her up. It is nice and cool in the kennels which is very important so my Pug does not get overheated. They even provided an extra fan for her. A very nice couple runs the kennel. We will definitely use this kennel again for our Pug.

We had our older dog stay for over a week while having our son and they worked with us for the days and times to pick up and drop off. They were friendly and we got to see the kennel she stayed in. We did the extra large ultra so she'd have as much room to herself. She has stayed there a few times since than. They book up fast so schedule ahead!

I have never boarded my dogs before and this place came highly recommended. My dogs were there for 7 days and were treated very good. I picked them up today and they were clean and very happy. I will use this kennel again and would recommended to anyone.

I checked this place out before leaving my two small dogs, mainly because of the review about the shock collars being used. I was told that the only time they have to use one is when a dog is barking all night and keeping the other dogs riled up. The owner said the collars are left on only as long as needed. I went ahead and left my dogs and was very happy I did. I think they did a great job, I had happy pups and you cannot beat the price!!!

I never believe negative reviews. There are many other business such as Boarding/pet sitters who may think the prices are low and decide to give a negative review and have never even used a business. Some reviews if you have been to Roesler's Kennels you would see that they are bogus as they say things that would be impossible as they don't know the layout or sizes of he kennels. Don't know the personal things that you would only know if you have ever been there. No Crates are used only large private areas. They offer baths and if you don't want a bath then why would you complain your dog was dirty.

My dogs have been going to Roeslers Kennels for over 10 years. I recently acquired another puppy since Bo is getting old. The only reason I can afford to get another puppy is that Roeslers services are very affordable! For my 3 dogs I pay only $25 a day and that is using 2 kennels. One large and one small. Also I have them bathe my dogs for only $15 each on the day that i am picking them up so it is one less thing I have to do when I get home from my trips. If you have never used them, give them a try they are never in a crate and all the kennels have dog doors to their own run areas. I have always been happy with the care that is given.

I boarded my dogs with them for about 10 days and I can say that my dogs were so happy and well taken care of when we picked them. I boarded them before at a different place for a lot more money and my dogs were stressed and lost weight so I was little scared that the same thing would happen but NO. I will definitely use Roeslers again! Thank you so much for giving my dogs a good experience while we were gone.

I do not trust my fur babies with just anyone. A mom and pop shop with lots of love to give to your fur babies. Clean, friendly, and amazing prices. Well worth the drive. They are good people.

We have been taking our dogs here since 2015. We drive in from St Louis and trust no one else with our dogs. Not to mention they just upgraded their facilities again. This time they went even bigger and better! I'm extremely impressed!

They're cheap, but you get what you pay for! We've boarded our 2 small dogs here twice. The first time was for 1 week in Fall of 2012 and most recently for 2 weeks in the Fall 2013. Having seen the facility with a 1 year span between visits, I can tell you it's gone downhill. When we boarded our dogs in 2012, the only complaint was how far of a drive it is from I-70. But when we went to pick the dogs up this time, the small building they board dogs in reekedof stale urine. When my husband dropped off our dogs, he noticed a couple dogs wearing bark shock collars. I reassured him saying, "I'm sure the dog owners provided the bark collars. I can't fathom the kennel putting them on a dog without it being supplied by the dog's owners!" One of our dogs came home with skin-piercing wounds on her ear and neck and we were haunted by the thought that she may have had a shock collar strapped to her neck. So I asked the kennel owner. He said that yes, they do put shock collars on noisy dogs! He said "Its in our contract. But we didn't put one on your dogs since they're not too loud." Well, we've never seen or signed any contract and it's mentioned nowhere on their website or the confirmation email we received after making our reservation online. I would NEVER take my beloved dogs to a kennel that may decide while I'm gone to torture them for barking--ESPECIALLY since shock collars may be sensitive to surrounding dogs' barks and shock the wearer unnecessarily! How cruel to strap a shocking device to a dog in a small, confined space full of other barking dogs! Our 10lb dogs also came back a pound heavier and looked painfully fat. They were obviously WAY overfed.Needless to say, we'll NEVER again board our dogs at Roesler's Kennels due to their secretive, torturous policy and fact that they had no idea how my dog's ear was literally PIERCED, with 5 surrounding open wounds on her ear and neck (that weren't consistent with a dog bite). If they were paying any attention whatsoever to her, they would've seen the wounds and dried blood. Dog owner beware: Their cheap prices are not worth the welfare of your dogs.

This is truly "family". We can't take our dog with us depending on where we're going, this is THE ONLY place we will take our furry friend!! They know us, they know her and she loves them!!! Highly recommend, affordable care with love!!

I would never leave my dogs with these people.Drove an hour out to talk with them and see the place and the owner was rude, told me to look up the website and that he had nothing to say. Unbelievable these guys run a legitimate business.Be wary, people.
