I stop here occasionally. It's a nice little store with some unique merchandise. My only negative comment concerns the staff. A friendlier attitude would go a long way in creating repeat customers.

I love this store because it's close by to us and because everyone there is friendly, relaxed and really try to help you get what you need.We're working on doing a remodel and every time we've reached out to them to deliver something we needed they have been ready and willing.I kept reading in the reviews how helpful Trevor is and it's true, he's knowledgeable and courteous. He'll get on the phone if it will help you get what you need.I'm glad to give them my business to keep them in business.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable customer service! Trevor, the young man that helped me was both very friendly and helpful in helping me with my water heater situation! I have been to Lowe’s many times, but I have never been taken care of as well as I was here! You have my business for life! God bless!

Went on a Saturday morning. Not very busy. No salesperson to be seen. Had to find the furnace filters on my own. Cashier was pleasant but too busy texting and looking at her eye makeup to get someone to help me. What should have been a 15 minute visit, turned into 40 minutes.

Friendly helpful folks. Has the main items you typically need from a hardware store. They have a great small engine repair shop. They are convenient to Willard which is a bonus not to go into Springfield. Price is alttlenmore typically then big box stores, however, for me once you add the cost in time and gas to go to Springfield it evens out. Also, you can finds someone to help you instead of spending so much time looking for an item or someone to help.

I don't understand why there is a bad review here. People really shouldn't base their opinion of a place off just one visit. I have never gotten bad service at this location. I have even had more than one person ask me if I needed help with anything because they walk around to see if someone needs help, therefore you don't usually even have to go looking for someone. Pricing is fair for such a convenient location, and I've always gotten great service.

Great place to take your UPS Return merchandise, they hand you a receipt and everything. Official drop off location.I use Amazon and sometimes have a return to drop off. So convenient right here in Willard! Thanks, True Value and Staff!❤️👍🏻

They keep bankers hours and most of the time there’s not much in stock and you have to drive into Springfield anyway. If you need a light bulb of a nut of bolt they may have it, but you better get there before the banks close!

I tried to stop by after I got off work to grab a couple of thing only to find out they close at 5:30. Why on earth would a hardware store close at 5:30 knowing their clients get off work at 5 or 5:30. From now on I will drive the 15 minutes to Lowes. This place isn't worth your time or money.

It is a little hardware store which is under went a big expansion, people are super friendly, but unless you talk to Rick, Doug, or Matt you're probably not going to find anybody there that knows what half the products are. But that's not too bad of an issue since all three of them are normally there

A great little store that seems to have everything you need in one conveniently located space. From hardware, chicken feed, water filters and more, True Value seems to have it. Easy to get to and the staff is always friendly and willing to help you find what you need.

Service dept is awsome. Had work done on my stihl blower and stihl chainsaw, both times they had it done in 3-4 days, and the price cant be beat! Not to mention they both run like champs after being serviced. The big farm store on kearney st. usually has a two week wait time and way more pricier. Willard Tru Value is now my go to place when something needs repaired or tuned up.

We had just moved to Willard, had an emergency and needed something and the guys working were amazing and waited to right around closing so we get get what we needed. Awesome customer service. Thank you. Very helpful so we got the correct things.

I spent $270 in UPS shipping from this store, told the guy helping us that he forgot the Unit #... I kept repeating myself on all the packages, his response was, "I'll fix it after." I literally took a pen and wrote Unit # on half the boxes because I was paranoid at how inexperienced he was. A few days later I finally got my UPS email notification and sure enough, NONE of the boxes had my Unit #. I live in California, those boxes could end up anywhere. LOL...I called True Value and spoke with the manager and he wasn't at all willing to help me, told me that he'll "try" to call UPS but most likely, they weren't going to fix it. UMMM, are you really a manager for a large company? Because, that was the laziest answer ever. I realize this town is tiny and not to expect much but when you spend a TON of money shipping things, you EXPECT them to arrive. Not to mention, I was never asked the value of these boxes and each one had a ton of product that was worth a lot of money.I was upset at this point and told him I would hold their business responsible if I didnt get my packages and he said, "oh, its not our problem its UPS's problem." UMMMM... what?! Its YOUR PROBLEM if my packages are lost and I don't have the adequate value on each. I talked to UPS and they told me each box was valued at $100 and let me tell you, that was NOT right.Anyway, I was really hoping to support this little town and this business but I will 100% NEVER shop there again. The manager was reluctant to help me, didn't want to fix the issue, didn't ask me who it was that worked with me, didn't care at all, gave me attitude and said he would "supposedly" call UPS to fix it but NEVER ASKED ME FOR MY UNIT #!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a great experience, go ask for Trevor he is knowledgeable and will get you setup with anything you need. I highly recommend shopping here and helping out our local hardware store rather than walking into the big box unknown stores and never get acknowledged. Thank you for all your help Trevor.

I am local to Willard and have to come to true value on a regular basis but I do it unwillingly because their customer service is nonexistent. Today when I visited the store an employee asked me “what I wanted” not, how can I help you. Another employee walked away for me while I was still asking them a question. I do not see how the store can operate with this type of attitude.

One of the cleanest and well organized store you will find. Great addition to the town of Willard, very friendly and helpful staff.One of the few places who will replace the screen in a screen door.

Trevor is always helpful any time I have been in the store. They have a team of great guys and gals and always answer any question with a smile. This store is conveniently located, and has a great selection for a local store.

Not good I bought a mower and it was a lemmon they refuse to honor there product I'm 65 and have been with out a 205.00 dollar mower for over a month they have talked down on me since the first time I took it back
