This place is consistently incompetent. The pharmacists can swear up and down all day that they have "slow computers". There's "slow", which I don't believe in this Walgreen's given the consistent not doing their job, then there's incompetence. Incompetence, Walgreens pharmacists, means it's human error. When 10 times out of 10, the prescriptions aren't filled on time even though you told us it'd be done in half an hour then magically you suddenly don't have the meds? Or your "system" forgot to tell you to do the job you told me in person you would do. Newsflash, if it takes you 10 years of complaints to fix your desktop? That's not even incompetence. It's laziness. This pharmacy is lazy, and when medications are needed to save someone's life? Laziness is a problem. You should all be ashamed.

I wish I could give him zero stars! It is a hassle or battle every time you need a prescription filled. And you better just call it in ahead of time days before you need it because you’re going to wait. Drop the prescription off and come back two days later and they may have it done. I’ve given these people several chances and they perform so poorly that I am writing this. They never have my husband’s prescription in stock in when he comes in they don’t automatically feel it. We have to go up there. Ask them to fill it and come back because they won’t get it ready for a long time.

I used my 2023 Walgreens gift card from Medicare/Anthem for getting an annual wellness check up.I used the entire $100 in one visit, because they had everything on my list except my favorite body lotion. The Walgreens in West Plains is smaller than their stores in big cities, but they were mostly well stocked. They could have used one or two more cashiers. They were 'out on the floor' stocking and straightening products, or so it seemed.

this place doesn’t even deserve the 1 star but unfortunately you have to give one to leave a review. i don’t think it’s right that the pharmacist can decide what doctors to fill for and what doctors they won’t fill for. you have an obligation as a pharmacist working for a corporation to fill people’s medications. all the woman kept asking me was “why is the doctor in salem arkansas” and expected me to give a clear answer on why he practices in salem. i could understand if we were further from the arkansas/missouri line but being 15/20 minutes isn’t a problem. instead of filling my medicine here in west plains they made me drive out of town to salem. my ID clearly states missouri so i hope there isn’t a problem going across state lines with medication. something needs to be done about this walgreens.it’s a problem EVERY.SINGLE. time it’s time for me to get my medicine. corporate needs to do better. NEVER will they get my business.

I've gone for over a week without medication that I needed. Had to argue with the girl about it at the drive thru window yesterday, because all anyone seems to know is what a computer tells them. I worked at a Veterinary Supply Company and had more knowledge about my job than these people do about theirs. She insisted that it was too early for my refill. Asked her to look to see when my last refill was, 11-10-22.... so you are telling me that we aren't past a month, it's not past 12-10-22 for me to have my refill?? She talks to another girl and they decided I must have gotten my refill elsewhere. Impossible since it's a restricted prescription. She finally told me yesterday there was "nothing they could do about it today, they would have to call my insurance. " After I get home, 20 mile drive, I got a text it was refilled. Had to drive the 40 miles round trip just to pick it up thimorning. Incompetence. .

My "greeting" to this store was a message about closing in 20 minutes. During the 10 minutes I looked for what I needed, I was reminded another 3 times that the store would be closing soon. Since 0 stars is not an option, I'll rate this store 1 star for a heinous lack of customer service by employees who were, repeatedly, "just doing their job." However, you get 5 stars for making me leave without spending a cent of my money or planning to return to do so in the future.

Tuesday December 13 I went to go get sodas and they had a display of different sodas together with a sign for Pepsi products for sale.I go to check out and this lady with black hair in a bun didn’t get her name was ring me up and she said oh I don’t think you can mix and max these.I tell her okay, well they’re on a display together and she tells me okay but you can’t mix and match these. I let her know okay but they’re on a display together and I don’t know which products are Pepsi and coke and that they should fix it.She arguing with me saying it’s not their fault and that it’s the venders but is like refusing to try and be understanding on my end because their sales sign is on this display. Raising her voice and just being arguemenitive like trying to embarrass me. She never said sorry. So I leave to go get the right drinks I need for a different sale and she meets me on the aisle to put the other sodas back still arguing with me trying to show me that there’s a sign these are different. Again I tell her I understand but you have a display all together over there with a sign saying they are on sale. As I’m walking away to go check out again she’s basically yelling at me down the aisle. So I yell back at her okay I understand but your argueing with a customer not trying to understand my side.I go up to the counter and I can hear her talking about me and the situation from behind me by the photo area. The younger girl checking me out apologized because I started crying and finished ringing me up and said I hope your day gets better. I appreciate this younger girl, she knew how to handle customers. I hope this older lady gets a write up or fired and a class on how to learn to talk to customers and handle a situation because I’ve never been treated so rudely and unprofessional before.

Do not use this pharmacy! They keep charging my insurance for medications that I have never picked up, and refuses to fill my wife’s prescribed medications. Something fishy is going on here and the pharmacist has not responded to any of my complaints. Take your business elsewhere.

Convenient but expensive. Pharmacy seems to have a great deal of filling prescriptions correctly. They either cannot count or figure out the difference one means the quantity, if it says one and the prescription says 180ml and it comes in in a 10 ml prepackage,, put in a larger bottle. Then they want to argue with you when it is written plainly o. The prescription. A cross between scary and aggravating.

This review is not made out of anger; it is made to talk about a problem that is actively harming people. Yesterday I went into the pharmacy to drop off two Rx. I was told the wait time was 45 minutes so I said I would come back later. After more than 24 hours I went to pick it up and was told that it had not been started on. I was told the reason was because I did not say that I was waiting for it and now I can pick it up in two hours. I wait 5 hours, just to make sure they have enough time and they tell me that they're out of the medicine and would let me know when it's available. I hope whomever is in charge of this branch sees this because this medicine is vital for my daily life. This is an abhorrent problem that needs to be addressed.Update: my wife went by to pick up the prescriptions and was told that they did not have the medicine there and said we were called yesterday about it. We were not called or contacted in any way. Then she was told directly by the pharmacist, "well we didn't have it anyway so it doesn't matter." Well it certainly matters to me and any communication about this at any point would have been helpful because I would have taken the prescription and driven the three hours to St Louis to get it filled there because, and I can't emphasize this enough, I need this medicine to function. This location is a disgrace to pharmaceutical healthcare.

Highly disappointed in the Pharmacy. Daughter had appointment for Covid test scheduled for this morning and pharmacy was temporarily closed for the day. A simple call to a those with appointments could have saved time and a wasted trip (roughly 50 miles round trip).

I have used Walgreens Pharmacy for the last 5 years - the last two years - mostly due to the fact they have a drive thru and are open 7 days per week - however the service has become so poor that I have been forced to change - they never have the medications ready when they say they will even when I use the automated system and give them 3 to 7 days to fill - no matter what when I get there - I am told it isn’t ready and told to wait or come back. The drive thru is not being treated as a drive thru - I have waited as long as 45 mins before only to get yo the window to be told the medication I requested days ago is not ready- then they leave me in drive they while the take another twenty to fill it which is very unfair to the others in line. I’ve seen people drop off and prescription and then sit and wait until it is ready even though cars are lined up behind them. There have been countless mistakes with my prescriptions EVERY month. Don’t waste your time - unless you have plenty to waste.

TERRIBLE customer service. From specifically Leah in the photo department. I placed and order for same day pick up. I go to get my order at the time it was to be ready and she told me they were out of pretty much all sizes. They definitely should have called when my order was placed and I would have cancelled then. Also was ignored for the first 13 minutes I was there.

Terrible service. Three times the pharmacist has not shown up on Sunday. Hold time on phone is always 15 minutes. Came in after they text and say the prescription is ready only to find out it isn't ready! Update: 3 mos later: 1st car in line today, girl came over and said be right there, 5 mins later she asked what we needed, got the prescription and laid it on the counter and said "she" will be right with you. 5 mins after that another person FINALLY came over to the window and gave us the prescription. We are moving all our prescriptions from here, enough is enough. Only Walgreens in town and they act like it!

I pulled up to the drive through not knowing it closed at 6 on July 18th a Saturday. So I drove around to the front of the store to go in and hopefully catch somebody in the pharmacy. A young lady that obviously worked in the pharmacy was walking to her car to go home took the time to go back inside and get my wife’s prescription. I sure wish I could remember her name but young ladies like her is what this country needs right now. So thankful and I will do my best to pay it forward.

Folks are friendly but the Pharmacist Department always seems overwhelmed, or not efficient. I called ahead of time to ask for an estimate of when my prescription would be ready. Was told 30 minutes. Went home and did a few things and arrived at Walgreens an hour later, then told to wait another 15-20 minutes because they were not finished filling my prescription. I’m glad I didn’t arrive earlier at the quoted time, otherwise I would be waiting for 45-60 minutes at least!

Called prescription in on 22 today is 25 still isn't done, called one caller in front of me waited 25 minutes went by, called right back 2 callers infront of me 35 minutes go by, don't call Walgreens they don't answer there phones surely it doesn't take over 35 minutes for one caller ahead of me

This store does not know how to mail products to elderly people when they are supposed to. My 90 year old Grandmother ended up in the hospital because she had not had her heart medication, or thyroid medication. She suffers from Alzheimer’s which seems to be much worse since she has done without her medication. She has beat thyroid cancer as well as colon cancer, but will be taken down by the incompetent pharmacy at Walgreens. If I could rate this location in the negatives, I would do so. Do not expect to get medication mailed on time, or have any sympathy for the elderly when you call this store... it will NOT happen!

I literally just walked out of your store after waiting in line at the pharmacy. The girl told me to come on up to the counter and she or the girl behind her would be right with me. So I waited, and waited. Then she proceeds to go to the next counter that had a closed sign at it and help the woman that walked up to it! And moved the closed sign to the counter I was at! Yes, the only open one that she just told me to wait at! And the other girl told the next person, who just walked up, she could help her at the 3rd counter, that was also closed! So Im at the ONLY open counter that I was Told to wait at, and Im the only one that does Not get helped? Long story short, I left my cart and products right there and walked out! And will use Walmart pharmacy from now on, and I kid you not, I will Never recommend this Walgreens to anyone, nor will I be back. Your customer service is obviously badly lacking!

The pharmacy, what can I not say that hasn't been said already. Staff seems to be incompetent or not knowledgeable about anything. You get a text informing your medications are ready, when you arrive they can't either find the prescription or tell you it's not ready. Classic case of the right hand has no idea what the left is doing.

drove 43 miles for my mother's COPD meds which the dr. has authorized for the discount program with them; young, rude girl that waited on me was snippy and said "what program" so......the meds were $513 instead of $23told her to just put it back on the shelf.the problem was later resolved with Ashley; she took care of us with no problem, a great person.The one star is for the young girl who wants to run something and play God over people that need medication. find a job that includes inanimate objects with no feelings, oh, and GROW UP !!

The pharmacy literally holds your medicine hostage. Unless you are prepared for a 20 minute wait to pick up your already filled prescription, don't go. Every business has a rough day but this is consistent with this Walgreens.

I've often walked into the store to see their management team having sales rally's in a huddle with their GM. The store is always clean, staff friendly and products always high quality. Friendly pharmacy but always busy. Not so busy I go elsewhere but notably busy. Clean bathroom.

Bought some lindor chocolates that rang up 2 for ten. I asked are they not on sale 2 for eight till 9/4. She said no without double checking. Stated on shelf on sale till 9/4. Will make them double check next time.

Do not come here for covid vaccine, I an booked appointment online and came in 5min early. The there people said they don’t use the online system here. I filled out paperwork and waited 30min. Still nothing so I walked out. Also waiting seats are ragged and worn out, impossible to sanitize.
