The clerk didn't really know much about where to look for specific items. The store is not very busy yet it's difficult to find assistance when needed. Many of the employees are nice. Some need an attitude adjustment or find a better job.

Store was dirty and the step stools and empty shopping carts in the isles making it hard to get around the store. The staff was too busy talking to each other to help customers and acted bothered when asked for assistance finding a product. The girl at the register was very friendly, polite, and helpful though. I usually don't go to this dollar general for these reasons, but was in a hurry and decided to give it another try, I won't be going back unless I have to.

After giving them several chances to redeem the store, I have decided to never shop at a Dollar General again!! Between the fact that digital coupons hardly ever work and then they cant do anything about it. Also employees have been rude on several occasions and at several stores. I have walked out without finishing my purchase because i was that upset. Not worth the stress.

This Dollar general is alright, the folks here were friendly, I just popped in for a couple of things and back out again. But what I did see of the joint was good, floors could have been cleaned a little better but I'm a good one to be talkin'. Don't take my word for any of this, go on in and see for yourself :)

I don't know if he was a manager or not, but when my grandson and I were there he was in the office. By the time we checked out, he was at the register. He came across as rude to me as well as the man behind me when I asked if they had a certain product. He did however go get it. I do have the app for coupons but this wasn't a planned trip. I asked if I could put my phone number in and the answer was No.! I felt rushed. As I sat in my car I started feeling angry and I almost went back in but decided just to not EVER GO BACK TO THE DOLLAR STORE ON MISSOURI STREET AGAIN! Family Dollar is much nicer and you can put your phone number in if you forget to clip.

In and out every time. They have a little bit of everything and anything your looking for. With great service, they'll help you with a smile. I've never had to weight in longs to check out either.

I really like the lady Cecily that works there, she is always very helpful and nice. The store tends to be out of stock on certain things and takes a while before they are available again. The store is usually very clean though.

Had a great time being goofy with the bae. Love this place, love the night shift workers. They're fun just like every day people but quite professional for being a dollar general. (:Oh, and they have super cheap Bluetooth headphones, better than my expensive pair which had less connection distance than the $5 #DG pair.Anddddd bought $5 remote and bluetooth LED lights. Hell yeah. Pretty awesome if ya ask me.

Always a quick trip for groceries or hygiene products,Pets, Seasonal Accessories. cleaning products, laundry, over the counter medication, movies, house accessories.( No fresh produce thou ). Friendly service. Great produce stand across the street.

Register froze on customer ahead of me because he was trying to pay with multiple gift cards. Employee had to restart register. No other employees on duty. At least 4 other customers behind me and one left. Employee was very courteous and apologized more than once for wait. Why weren't there other employees there to help? 6.28.18 @ 1316. Store address 1231 MO Ave; West Plains, MO.

Busy store. Sometimes there might be a line but use some patience - they can only assist 1 customer at a time. And when it's your turn they treat you like they care and are thankful for you shopping in their store.

I love Dollar General......but not this one !!!! Everyone is rude! The wait in line is ridiculous! One employee in particular is beyond rude,she keeps her hair in her face and refuses to even acknowledge your existence!!!!

Very dirty and disorganized. Store was cluttered with stuff everywhere that it didn't belong. Outdated food still on shelves and prices was not right as marked or scanned. Very little sale signage and very Rude Management. WiLL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING!

This is my favorite dollar general in it's always so clean and tidy u can actually get your cart down the aisles the other ones in town have overstock everywhere

Waiting in line...system down and managers unaware as they should have realized at beginning of their shift. Not first time it's happened. Made me late for work. Not acceptable.

Went in on my lunch hour to grab couple things, waited 10 minutes in line. Don't know if they were having cash register issues or what but they could of opened another register. Put my stuff back and left.

Also while at West Plains had little time to kill so stopped in Dollar General got few items, always nice to able to drop by of those to get whatever you little things you forgot.

Hot during the summer so a lot of candy is melted. Has several options to avoid big stores.
