My visit started out fine. Was there looking for items I had coupons for. I had some interaction with some of the employees and was pleased at their willingness to help Me find my items. I had noticed the Management was wearing what looked like sleep pants and house shoes but didn't make much of it because she was so nice and willing to help Me.I had found the items that I needed and went to check out and the items didn't scan in the system(no price). The cashier ask Me where I got them and I told her I got them off the hook and I told her She was standing there next to Me when I got them.She informed she had pulled these last night and must have not seen them. I explained I just found them over where we was standing and she said she couldn't sell them to Me because they was supposed to be pulled off. I explained to her that I was not responsible for her not doing her job and I did have the right to buy them since they was still on the shelf. She called the manager and told her what was going on and the manager stepped away with the merchandise and came back saying she would sell them to Me at a very inflated price. Now mind you just seconds before that this merchandise didnt scan! Well needless to say I didn't buy the merchandise and I will not go back to this store. Very Very unhappy with how things was handled.

Friendly employees, good variety of merchandise, great deals, clean store. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a hello and a kind smile. If you need help looking for anything the employees are happy to help. When checking out, more smiles and a friendly cashier. This kind of service makes you want to keep coming back!

My experiences are almost always terrible. Store is NEVER open on time. Like today 8 AM-9PM the hours haven't changed at all yet and somehow the store wasn't open. The employees need to be educated on what charcoal is because I have asked where they keep it and all I get is looks of confusion. Almost always they're out of supplies whether it be something small or big. It never fails. Ill just stick to dollar tree. At least they know their jobs.

As we entered the store was greeted by a very friendly lady asked if she could help us with anything. We noticed that the store was in tip top shape with cleanest every where from the front to the far back corner. No empty shelves or anything out of place we are looking for clothes pins and just about to give up and another lady asks if she could be of help and without hesitation she walked us right to the place where they were. We picked up a few other things and then went to check out same friendly and pleasant lady check us out ask had we found what we had wanted, of course we had more than what we came out to get.With a have a good day and a smile! We were on our way. Keep up the good job and keep the place nice and easy to get around and pleasant employees .

The pictures shown are NOT of the inside of this store. That is definitely an upscale home interior store! Yes the location does have a FEW nice home interior products but nothing like the picture. I really enjoyed the clearance sale that has been taking place this week. For that matter I like any clearance sale at DG. I most enjoy going to the newest store to West Plains over this one. The new ones are more well thought out and put together instead of just where the company found a building and made it fit.

Went in at closing time was warned closing in one minute. Replied "we are only getting ice cream." We was in front of freezers picking out our ice cream when the manager announces its time to check out or go we are closed." She starts herding us like cattle to the front.We are there probably every other day and this is how their repeative customers are treated?Lost this customer!

This Dollar General Store would not let me purchase my brother (who is dying of cancer), the supplies we needed to keep him comfortable, because he gave me (his sister) a signed check from him and I didn't have his ID. The rating I give this store is a great big ZERO, for being so selfish with this transaction that my brother will suffer from this. Shame on you, DOLLAR GENERAL IN WEST PLAINS AT 921 PREACHER ROE BLVD!!!!

This is the cleanest and best laid out floor plan I've ever seen in a dollar store. Everything is Easley found. They have the easiest parking lot to get in and out of and handicap accessibility of any store.

In my opinion, this is the best Dollar General in West Plains. The employees are typically friendly and do their best to get customers through check out as quickly as possible.

Pretty disorganized. Odd items are located together. Watch the expiration dates a lot of time they are close. Definitely needs a face lift.

It's a bit older store but keeps basic goods in same place so you don't have to guess where things have moved to. Has good enough seasonal items.

Great prices but company only keeps like one or two people you will stand in line for at least 5 10 minutes at any of the 3 in town

They have alot on sale all the time but when the sale items didnt ring up correctly the manager acted like it was some big deal she changed the price

Everything was great til they asked me four times for change i did not have. When i say i dont have it i dont have it. Stop asking me and give me my change you say you are short on. But i know is there.

Dont care for any Dollar General, have had a bad experience at basically everyone each time I visited. Only go there because its the cheapest and only place I can find my doggies antacid.
