Took my 11 and 14 year old kids and they had a blast. I texted ahead to make sure we could get a private tour. It is free, but donations are accepted. Very friendly staff that drove us to the different animals on a golf cart. We got to pet the alpacas, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigs and see the donkeys. We helped find goose eggs laid around the property (and bought them to eat). The tour guide/farm hand shared so much information on the animals and about the farm. Highly recommend! There's a small gift shop that sells the eggs, alpaca yarn from the farms alpacas and other novelties.

Awesome little farm. The staff is great and friendly. The alpacas are fun and curious. You get to interact and feed them. The farm also has goats, pigs, chickens, and other animals along with a gift shop of handmade goods. Highly recommend stopping by.

Their website makes it sound more interesting than it actually is. "Cozy woods" means it's in the middle of a forested lot. The "beautiful lake" is just a small pond, not particularly scenic.I'm giving them an extra star because one of the employees came out and gave us food to feed the female alpacas, and walked us through the enclosure to get to the gate on the other side so we could look at the pond.We had hoped for something a little more organized. It comes across as a place that cares for alpacas, but not really set up well for visitors. They mention other animals on their website, but we only saw alpaca and two donkeys. Possibly if you set up a tour ahead of time, they'd be more hospitable.

This place is such a little hidden gem! I found it by accident awhile back just driving by and seeing the sign, and finally got to take my niece and mother in law and we had a great time! The staff was really friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed ourselves, but I will say it’s not an all day thing if you’re looking for something to entertain the kids for a full day. We were there for about an hour just taking it all in though! We’ll definitely be back!

This farm is so great. Their Alpacas are friendly and give Alpaca kisses. The owner Steve is kind and gives a great tour. You can tell he is passionate about his animals and that they are all loved. They also have a gift shop, one of the many things you can purchase is yarn made from the alpacas you just met outside.

My wife is an avid knitter, but had never worked with Alpaca yarn. I took her to their store to look. They had a great selection and while we were there Chris showed us around, introduced us to the Alpacas and let us feed them. It was an excellent experience for the afternoon.

We found this place through Harvest Hosts. A little gem of a farm. The farm hand showed us around and let us help feed the animals. I brought some goat milk lotion from the gift shop; it is very nice. Sounds like you need to make an appointment and they will be very hospitable.

Very nice visit today! We stopped by without an appointment. A cute farm store is on the left side of the main house with an outside entrance. A pleasing variety of yarn, socks, sweaters and shawls, homemade soaps, hats, gloves, scarves, hand made items including dryer balls and beautiful fiber artwork. They are prepared for cash and credit sales. We spent time in both the females and males Alpaca pens as well. Some very nice animals. Owners are active in the state’s Alpaca Association, MOPACA, and very friendly and knowledgeable to boot. Gorgeous fall colors on a tall hill so the farm atmosphere was very enjoyable!

This place was a hidden gem! The farm entrance is very unassuming besides a sign with the name on it. We were a bit hesitant to access the property initially since in order to get to the farm you have to go up a steep driveway to what looks like just a home. You can't really see much of the farm from the main road, just a large house which we later found out is where their farm store/gift shop is located. The owner was very friendly and informative of the farm history and everyday functions. Their farm tour is free and allows you to interact with their alpacas up close, including feeding them in their enclosures. There are at least 40 alpacas I'd estimate, as well as several other animals like goats and donkies. The tour is at your leisure and allowed you to spend as much time as you want visiting. Their farm store was also very nice and had numerous handmade products including alpaca wool clothing and goat milk soap. A very unique experience and wonderful farm that I look forward to taking others to in the near future!

Great experience! Steve is very knowledgeable and willing to share knowledge. Very down to earth gentleman. He treats his herd with the most kindness and respect. Thanks for your time! Will be planning on visiting the shop online since we didn't get a chance after our tour due to the interview. We will definitely be visiting next time we're around!-Lucky and Megan from MNAlso, I was checking out the underside of our rig at our next stop and think we may have lost some aluminum tape on your prop.- terribly sorry about that!

Rush Acres farm is a family owned farm to Alpacas, donkeys, goats, chickens, and more. They give free tours of the farm during business hours. They have a store where you can purchase skeins of yarn made from the alpacas that live there. They also sell goat soap, fresh eggs, and other items. A fun and educational place to go for friends and families alike.

We took our great grandchildren as well as grand and soon. All age levels had a great time learning about the alpaca, donkeys, chickens, etc. Loved every minute.

Unorganized, acted like they didn't want to deal with the public. Reluctant to give a tour. Unprofessional. Will look for a different alpaca farm next time.
