The workers there were extremely informative and kind. They took time to talk and explain every question I had, and even showed me and my sister around. The animals there are kept in a much better condition than any big chain pet store and have prices to shame them to show for it. Absolutely amazing store and I wish the best for the manager and Lynn.

I went to Lynn's Pets about a week ago, and all I can say is WOW!!! I am new to fish keeping, and a friend told me about this place. I was expecting a typical independent pet store, but I was blown away by the variety of animals and supplies that they have managed to work into their space! I walked around for probably an hour looking in all the tanks and shelves. They have way better prices on aquarium gravel so I got some for a new tank, and left with the gravel and SOOO many new ideas! You won't find much web presence besides Facebook(trust me, all of their time is going towards quality animal care!!!!), but I highly encourage you to just go see for yourself!!!

I’m so happy that I’ve found this store. I’ve been coming to Lynn’s Pets for the past 10 years and every employee, including the owner ❤️Lynn❤️, has given nothing but the best factual information on what I need to know to take care of my pets because they truly care . I just bought crickets today and Lindy and Zelda went above and beyond and made my visit a very enjoyable visit. From what I’ve experienced, Lynn has always had the right people employed at her store. I appreciate that so much!

I've been going to Lynn's for years. We moved away for a decade and when we moved back to the area, she was still there, only better! The place is twice the size that it was when I used to come in but it's still the same wonderful place. Lynn herself is a gem of a person and the animals are all wonderfully taken care of. Her prices are great, her selection is great, the information that you'll get on whatever you need from either Lynn or her team working for her is great. I'm so glad to be close to my favorite per store again!

Make sure to quarantine any animal you buy from here. Almost everything has mites, worms, ick, cottonmouth, dropsy, or an upper respiratory infection.I get it's a small shop and it's hard to keep such a small place clean with so many animals, but unsanitary enclosures let infections and disease run rampant.

The employees were friendly and seemed to really care about the animals. My girlfriend bought a cute locally bred bunny from the store. My only complaints is that I thought they would have more reptiles and tarantulas. I'm used to shopping at tye dye iguana and having a plethora of exotics. However this store is still better than any petco or petsmart and I try to support small business whenever possible.

The service was great and all the little critters look happy. The only reason for the 4 star is the betta habitats. Even then, the bettas are in much better conditions compared to other corporate pet stores.Corals and more houses their bettas much better but they have a limited selection. Although the owner said they plan on expanding their freshwater section.

Love this store. Recently moved to Wentzville and didn’t know where to go to get supplies to set up my aquariums nor fish. As a lover of all knife fish, I love that she not only sells them but is very knowledgeable from the clown knives to the ghost. Prior to finding Lynn’s, I went to Pet Smart where they had no clue what I was talking about and went as far as asking if I was pronouncing it wrong 🤦🏽‍♀️. Just forget it.

The have a decent selection of fish… but every single time I’ve been in there, the same one employee’s answer to every question we have is, “I don’t know”. We asked this morning about a shark type fish they had in with the angel fish (which we just bought), and asked how well they got along with other freshwater fish. She responded with, “we just got them and threw them in with the angelfish and it’s been fine so far”. Every other question we asked was, “I don’t know”.

I bought my little baby dumbo rat from Lynn's and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what I would need to care for her! I'll always fo back to Lynn's before any other pet store!

First of all we love giving back to the locals. We need to keep them in business. But we have always gotten our pets from Lynn's. They are so educated. Half of them are breeders and they know what they're talking about. I will never go to a retail pet store to get a good healthy pet. We just made another big purchase of a bearded dragon and they were so knowledgeable. Jaden was so helpful and Zack. Everybody there just really knows their stuff and it's so comforting and reassuring knowing that not only do we have an amazing pet but we know how to take care of it because of Lynn's pets staff. Unbelievable customer service and their prices on everything you need to get for your pet is excellent and not overpriced. And they also sell stuff for other local creators.

This place is great!! I bought a few things from here, including some dairy cow isopods:) they seem in good condition and there’s a couple adults and lots of babies!! All the pets there seemed to have decent care, atleast compared to other stores for sure. They have something for all pet lovers! Including invertebrates, there’s not a lot of stores with inverts around me so this place was HEAVEN!! I was very pleased to see a decent amount of bugs, even a jumping spider! Great place. I WILL be coming back

I called to get information about my port fish suffering with a swim bladder disorder, and Ms.Lynn was a FRIEND I NEVER MET!! This lady is so sweet and her knowledge of fish is superb. She talks to you like she has known you for years. The advice and knowledge she gave me nobody else even took the time to care that much. Angels are on earth, and I bet my last dollar I just became friends with one. Thank you so much Lynn!!

Had our first visit and the staff seem like they are doing a great job with the place! Was greeted and they were very helpful and have good knowledge of the pets they have.I will be coming back in the near future and I suggest if your interested in getting a pet whether it's a fish, reptile, hamster, or bird. This is a good place to go!!Oh and they also carry some spiders, frogs, lizards,snakes,rats etc. (Need to get photos so that's coming soon.)

They always have feeders of any size really and carry a good selection of supplies! I have gotten plants, snails, ghost shrimp and speckled Cory Doras here. It's the best place for healthy, clean tanks, and an awesome knowledgeable staff. My Corys are getting so big and doing awesome.

I am so impressed with Lynn’s Pets. My son is interested in isopods and they had an amazing selection. I also really loved that on the outside of the rabbit cage, they posted information on how to care for rabbits and why they are not Easter gifts. I can tell they really care.

This is a small place that someone may miss driving past however, the selection of freshwater and saltwater fish is amazing. There are a lot of supplies to choose from, I spotted some birds and rats/mice for sale. This hidden gem is a great place to stop into.

Her place has always been THE place to go to for what I needed‼️ This winter,I'm hosting about 100 + tad poles that were hatched in my dogs swimming pool. As the summer went on ,it got too hot for them to stay outside in the sun, even after giving them shad. I brought them inside and as they hatched out into baby frogs,I needed some food for them and Those micro crickets were perfect as well as the fruit flies she sold me. It's going on mid January now and I'm hoping to have several of them ready by May to set free outside. 👍🏼👍🏼2 thumbs up for Lynn's Pet Shop in Wentzville,Mo.

Lynns Pets is my go to place for all of my reptile and arachnid supplies, pets and information. They have the most knowledgeable staff in this type of retail field and take care of all of their animals very well!Highly recommend!

It was kind of a mess. The fish tanks were dirty, the bird cages were gross, and it was just ick. In this photo there’s a dead snail in the tank. There was a good amount of dead fish.
