Terrible Communication. Unhelpful. Lied to me About not having my prescription and caused me to go days without it just to be told "Call back Monday when we get a new shipment'' to then speak to someone with a rude attitude today tell me "oh we had your prescription. We just needed some insurance clarification". Where do you people think that it's acceptable to have people wait for their Medication like that. This is people's health you're dealing with and a job like this needs to be taken seriously. Didn't even have the decency to apologize for the mix up or take accountability.

Arrived 10 minutes before the pharmacy closed and waited in line to pick up a prescription medication for my infant. After the customer ahead of us pulled away, the pharmacy person without saying a word put the closed sign in the window. Only after looking over her shoulder a minute later did she get on the phone to say they were closed. When we said it would have been nice to say something to us, she tried to act like she had to go get something. Since when do customers already in line to receive their item just get ignored. We did not come after closing. Horrible customer service. Guess we will switch to Amazon.

Worst Pharmacy ever. No one ever has a smile on their face. Every time I walk up it’s awkward because I’ll have 3-5 workers look up at me and not one says anything. Then finally someone breaks down and helps me. You ask questions and they either don’t know or are very rude. They act like the customers are bothering their job.

I'm not this person at all. But whoever that just called “Mel” I believe her name was, was very rude. I understand that you're trying to transfer my prescriptions over to you, and I appreciate it, I truly do. I get that it's frustrating for you that the number I gave you from their website is wrong, but I didn't know that, honestly. Furthermore, I also haven't had this medication for 3 weeks now, but depression medication isn't something that you can’t just stop like that it’s a chemical balance substance. Maybe take in some kindness about other’s mental health, just saying. It has been frustrating for me also trying to figure everything out on why my insurance just decided not to use the pharmacy that I have been using for a year now. So at this point on, Please take the time to think about others and what we probably had to go through to get where I'm at now, thank you. This kind of makes me don’t even want to go through you guys, to be honest. I didn't ask for the change. I do apologize for trying my best to make it as easy for you.

Least communicative pharmacy I've dealt with. Twice now I have had my doctor's office refill a prescription for my child with them and twice now they have not communicated they don't have the medication. I have had to call them and ask why it's not refilled. The first time someone there dropped the ball and didn't even get to the order for two days after the doctor's office sent it, and even then they didn't have it, and this time they said "their system" messaged me (it did not) to say they don't have it. I'm fed up with this happening over and over and having to call around to other pharmacies to see if they have it. I'm reconsidering having this be our pharmacy for all our family's medications because it should not be that hard to follow through. I understand the medical field is strapped for staff and can't keep up with demand, but this should not keep happening. The staff are not sympathetic to the problem and don't take ownership of failing to follow through.

Held for 14 minutes for the girl to be so extremely rude and unhelpful!I recorded the entire call too! Sent my daughter to pick upthe prescriptions and the look this girl gave her (which her friend recorded was undeniable rude)then told her it will be at least an hour if we even get to it today.I will Never Give this pharmacy my business! She needs to be fired. Look online to hear and see video.

I needed my prescription very badly so I drove up there.Got to the drive thru 2 minutes before close and waited patiently only to have a lady close the window in my face and locked up for the night.I went around and parked.Walked inside to have them close the grate as I walked up. I told them I was waiting in the drive thru for them and I was there before closing which was 6 pm on a Saturday 🙄.I was then very rudely told “you can come back tomorrow “These people are very rude and unprofessional.I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Truly wish I could reconstruct the management here and the way they think it’s okay to speak to people.. just deeply insincere and zero warmth. I will be using medicine shoppe from now on.. I would absolutely LOVE to be reached out to and have the ability to look at this situation differently

As of 12.16.23 Their service is even worse. The CVS located at 1550 Wentzville Parkway has the worst pharmacy experience. Every month they screw up my prescription refill. I have to call them to track down an order. They give you some ridiculous excuse why the prescription is not filled. They lay their excuse on everyone elsefrom the customer to the doctor to the insurance company but fail to recognize their own incompetence! I’m going to another CVS pharmacy for my prescription needs unless they all are incompetent!

CVS makes my life a little bit easier since it’s just a few minutes up the road from where I live and is much easier to park at then the local super store.

Edit*First time going here in a couple years. They seem to be making some really good improvements.Original*Wouldn't step foot into that pharmacy if they were giving drugs away for free. It's rude one word answers to questions, attitude and horrible service.

The absolute worst pharmacy in existence. Hateful staff. They treat patients terribly. Avoid this location at all costs.

They are always out of my prescription. Never in stock. It’s been months since I’ve had my prescription… Guess what the cvs at schnucks down the street has it in a lower mg. The brainless over paid idiots never put 2 and 2 together to offer that instead. It’s really sad to think these people actually make really decent money and act the way they do. cvs should go out of business with how unprofessional they are. Everyone that works at cvs should be stripped of any degree and have to re apply elsewhere. I’ve never felt this way about a specific company but this had been non stop nonsense for 3 years of using them. Screw CVS

I was incredibly disappointed with this location. I had called earlier in the day, got my Dr to call in the prescription because the woman on the phone said your medication is low on stock so if they call it in now I'll be able to fill it. Couple hours later I call to make sure everything went smoothly. The woman said yes, it's been filled and it is ready for you. I drive out there only for them to tell me that due to low stock they are out of my prescription. I feel that if it was filled....it should not have been given away. And if there was a time Frame on how many hours they were going to hold it that should have been communicated with me...I'm already sick and this just added stress I didn't need. Luckily I got my needed medication elsewhere.

I have never seen a more rude pharmacist! My prescription has low stock everywhere and I called around for 2 days to find out this location had it in stock. I call and have it transferred to this pharmacy. I call the next day and they first tell me they do not have the qty I am prescribed. I call my dr office and they said to have them fill the qty they do have. I call back and am told it wasn’t the qty but my insurance and I tell them I am paying out of pocket and that insurance is not valid any longer. I am then told they will have it ready by 1130. I drive 40 min to be told by the pharmacist she will not fill it bc I got it filled 2x last month at Walgreens. Also, not true because Walgreens was out and I had to go to Kroger. I left and called Walgreens and they said no, we didn’t fill it once. I called the pharmacy back and asked her to call and she refused. I asked what I can do to clear things up because I am at a loss. She continues to talk over me. I called my dr and they called and was told no Walgreens didn’t fill it twice but I was notorious for filling early…when I filled late the month prior because my original pharmacy was out. At the end of the day I will NEVER deal with this pharmacy again and I was made out to be some junkie. I was humiliated and am still delayed getting my prescription because of time wasted. I will be filing a formal complaint against this pharmacist because she was absolutely lying about everything and kept changing her story aboht why she couldn’t help me.

Pharmacy was rude not only to me but to the discount pharmacy Single care. I must say that there was one pharmacy tech that was very nice and she gave me resources on how to get my prescription cheaper. Mind you this was on 11/04 morning shift who over charged me for my medication the discounted pharmacy called and the CVS pharmacy was very rude and they hung up on them. They stated that my prescription will be in on Monday 11/14 this was the reason why my prescription was so much CVS GAVE ME THE NOT DISCOUNTED PRESCRIPTION as I advised them the information no one listened. Now come Wednesday the later shift everyone there was very nice etc however had the same issue as that they didn’t give me the discounted price for my prescription. I just paid for it I didn’t want the other shift to go through unnecessary things due to there morning stuff didn’t document my account. I will never use this CVS pharmacy again.

Everyone at the pharmacy is always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. They get me the absolute best deal on my medications without even having to ask them for help. My medication is always done in a timely manner. I won’t go anywhere else.

This location SUCKS!!!!!Always out of common medications like amoxicillin, wait times in drivethru are incredibly long and pharmacy staff will avoid making eye contact if you're standing inside in line.Nobody ever has any answers, and will lie and tell you there is no medication within 20 miles in their system, but when you call either of the 2 locations that are less than .5 mile away, they have said medication in stock. The other 2 locations within .5 mile from here are great. The staff is courteous, helpful and they don't make it feel like a chore to buy my prescriptions from them.Pulling all of our meds from here and to one of the other 2 locations. Management needs to get their store in order.

The pharmacy is SO slow. They do not have enough staff to keep up with the number of customers. Every time I come to pick up my prescription I have to wait 45-hour to an hour.this time I had 4 people in front of me and and waited an hour. The pharmacist is not very friendly. I have it two stars instead of one because the rest of the pharmacy staff (the techs) have always been kind and friendly.

Would give this pharmacy location zero stars if I could. I’m not one to leave reviews especially on a pharmacy since I used to work in them and know how stressful and overwhelming it can be. But this location is by far THE WORST. The pharmacy staff is consistently rude and will point blank ignore you even if you’re standing right in front of one of them. They never seem to have a wait time less than an hour and get snotty if you ask to wait. Today was by far the worst. I was told it would be an hour wait like usual and when I returned two hours later they said it still wasn’t ready and they couldn’t give me a time when my prescription would be ready when I asked. I’m talking like they wanted me to wait until the next day and this was at 11am! This unnecessary wait wasn’t due to an insurance issue or any issue related to me, my doctor or my prescription. No, the inability to give me a time was due to the fact that the pharmacist didn’t want to fill my prescription because he was “too busy giving vaccines”. Since when did putting prescriptions on hold for over 5 hours or even days to give vaccines become a priority?? Unacceptable to treat waiting customers like that. If you can’t have a pharmacist on staff to fill prescriptions in a timely fashion then why even open the pharmacy? Some people have medications that can not wait that long to be filled when they have done everything right on their end. That is a serious issue CVS! I’m sure someone waiting for a vaccine could have waited an extra 10 minutes while the pharmacist did the job that is required of him. If its an issue of keeping proper staff then maybe it’s time to start incorporating pharmacy only and vaccine only hours just like you did for pharmacy lunch breaks.

Who doesn’t love a drive thru!!! I had the luck of having my provider call my prescriptions in to this CVS (stand alone pharmacy) located near 2 ither CVS pharmacies inside thise darn grocery stores!!! I make it a point to go through drive through pharmacy for convenience. Since Most pharmacies close at 8pm on weeknights, I anxiously called to tell them I’d be there ASAP. Surprisingly, the tech answered (very close to closing time btw!) and filled the Prescription quickly with no drama!!! The tech was a darling young woman with brunette hair …such a wonderful customer service representative for CVS! I wish I could write her name in this review! Thanks to the phenomenal drive thru Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists at the 1550 Wentzville pkway location. I will return for all my future refills.

This CVS is the worst! I was told to come into the store to buy a Covid test because they only sell a $26 one in the drive thru. A cashier inside walked me back to the pharmacy where the Covid tests were located. I told her what they told me in the drive thru and that it was a joke. Fun fact - I tested positive for Covid. I have been there twice to try to pick up a prescription I have been on since last summer. Aaron (pharmacist) told me they have reached out to the doctors office for instructions but they won’t call them. They send it out electronically daily. Right. I said so this has been sent every day since November? That’s how long I have been waiting for something they already have instructions on. He said yes and that I should call my doctor again. I asked for the district manager and was told to call 1800cvs. On hold for ten minutes to tell a customer service representative about the experience. Avoid this place and get your prescription filled somewhere else.

A prisoner of war recieves better customer service. I was in the drive thru when I discovered they don’t have the right card reader for Apple Pay in drive thru. Then to top it off I get inside and no one communicated with front end staff so I had to repeat myself and go through the process all over again even waiting on customers who may or may not have been there longer. Their indifference was deeply disturbing.

I tried calling the pharmacy to see if my pain medicine was in stick called 4 times and all 4 times was hung up on I have been out of my medicine for 4 days now. I'm paralyzed on the left side I'm in a lot of pain and need my medicine. And can't even have the courtesy of someone taking the call. It's 9:30 in the morning.

I'm not sure why there are all these bad reviews.. I just moved to Wentzville from St.Charles and still use my CVS in St.Charles because I have been going there for so long and they all know me and I love the employees there. I had a paper script I needed to drop off yesterday and didn't want to drive 25 minutes out, I read the reviews on here and was almost going to just drive to my pharmacy .. but I decided to give it a shot. The staff was VERY nice, not just at the pharmacy but the other employee I spoke to as well. I then got a text about 30min after I got home stating my script was already ready for pick up. Super fast and good service. I'm going to give 5 stars because I think it's deserved.

So they send me a message my prescription is ready to be picked up however when I show up only part of it is fulfilled they needed more info from doctor. Next day new message my prescription is ready to be picked up I send wife and child to go pick it up while I am at work. Only to find out it still isnt fulfilled I call my Dr. Office they say they sent it everything should be fine. They get in the phone with them. Evidenlty the Pharmacy had questions about it. Why not call my Dr. Office guess to inconvenient for them. My Dr. Instantly gets on the phone with them to straighten out. Ok all good. But now they tell my wife its going to be 20 min to put some things on in the bag. Its a prepackaged prescription they literally have to do nothing but put it in the bag. My wife already waiting 40 min with baby in car has had enough and leaving now I must go again 3rd trip to pick up prescription. Get your stuff together.

I never leave reviews so it takes a really bad experience for me to write one. This pharmacy always has a horrible in-person wait time but I usually overlook it. Today, my doctor called in a prescription and CVS' automated line called me telling me they need my updated insurance information to fill my prescription. It said I could drop my insurance card off in the store or stay on the line to give the information to a pharmacy associate. Given that I have young children, I'd rather do it by phone than drag them back and forth to the pharmacy. I waited on hold for 8 1/2 minutes before an unpleasant woman answered. I explained that I needed to update my insurance information by phone and she immediately told me I need to bring me card in because "sometimes doing it by phone is too hard". I told her I waited over 8 minutes on hold to speak to someone and that their automated prompt said doing it by phone was an option. She interrupted me and had a very rude tone and said "I'm telling you it's hard ma'am but I'll try. " I gave her all the information on my insurance card and she put me on hold for an additional 5 minutes. She came back on and said "I FINALLY got it to go thru" at which point I just have a quick "thanks" and hung up. I'll be searching for another pharmacy that takes customer service seriously. I'm generally easy going since I worked in customer service for a number of years so it takes someone pretty rude to work me up. I've seen them treat others this way when I've gone in the store in the pharmacy area as well.
