Good deals on boots gloves and animal feed prices beat the competitor always. We appreciate a good farm home store with everything in one stop. I try to buy any and all plants left over at the end of the season for landscaping jobs and to spruce up fall flower pots. Tammy has a good variety of perennials and natives.

This is an awesome store for outdoor, planting, animal, tool, lawn, and clothing needs, and more! There is so much variety here! I love walking through the store. It makes me think of projects. I can do that I hadn't even considered yet. Everybody who works here was friendly and greeted us with a smile. We will definitely be back when the need arises.

They carry a lot of items that the big box stores do not. So if you need apart of something you cannot or have not found at a big box, give them a try. You will be surprised. And they are very friendly and willing to help you in your quest.

I regularly shop here for hardware because I want to support the little guy.The one time I needed a V belt for my mower, I brought the belt in with me. I had the dimensions, part number, and application; all the information we would need.. and the actual belt I'm replacing that we can compare to. I stood at the counter for probably 5 minutes, just counting up to 30 and back down, as a few employees passed by me to watch each other roll out some piece of equipment, each making eye contact with me as they kept walking.Finally, one of them begrudgingly got behind the counter to help me. Except, every piece of information I had for him wasn't good enough. He was ready to just say no to anything. I finally asked, if he can't look it up by part number, length, width, or the mower brand, what can he look it up by? He just gave me a defeated expression.Well, from the comfort of my drivers seat in their parking lot, I searched the part number online and immediately had a dozen options of where to buy it. So, someone on ebay made the sale that Charlie's completely fumbled on.

I've been shopping at Charlie's since it was Cuzzin' on the southside. I'm down with the more is better selection and it's my go-to place for a lot of Hardware needs.The last time I was there I had to get a picture of the disabled parking spot for anyone who has a ramp/lift or can't swim for that matter.

Went in for refill of 20 pound propane tank and was shorted 3 pounds. Was told that was all they could put in. Later told to be happy because I got a good deal even being shorted. Camping World nearby has propane.

Charlie's has been around since I was a small child. It's a great option for rural property owners. Went for spray paint to use on restoring a vintage travel trailer

Called to see if they carry Dickies overalls which they said yes. Unfortunately zero to be found and the three different people I spoke to said I don't know and went the other direction. Great customer service as well as not having what you said you had!

I love this place. You can get great deals on anything farm and home. They also have a big variety of dog and cat foods, leashes, and other per supplies including super high quality dog treats sold by the pound. They have a huge selection of work wear and boots. Really this is a great little family owned and operated store I can't say enough good about it.

Hometown Farm & Home that has been there forever. Locally owned. Helpful, friendly staff. Prices are competitive with the other farm & home and big box stores. And, they carry everything you could possibly need (except lumber). Full line of work clothes, toys, chemical's, tools, etc. Plus, they carry & service Stihl, Honda, power lawn tools/mowers. If they don't have it, it probably doesn't exist!

We always find great things here. This time we were buy boots for my Niece 's and Nephew's to go to the County Fair. The people at Charlie's were so helpful. With 7 of them needing boots. We could use all the help we could get. They made it a great experience. Thanks to all employees of Charlie's

Great selection of farm and home products. I've found to be the best value over the big box stores for lawn care products. Their staff has always been friendly and quite helpful if I'd have questions. Even though they're if the main path of stores, they're well worth the stop to check their selection and prices. They also have a great home-town hardware and clothing department too.

Went to the blue big box store and couldn't find what I needed. An associate asked if I needed help and I said yes. He stated they didn't have it and suggested I go to Charlies in Wentzville. I did a Google search and drove to it. I was taken aback by the enormity of its size and by wandering around, decided this place has 1 of everything! The associates working here are helpful and courteous. If I need something, I know where I'm going from now on!

A unique farm store that carries pretty much all you'll need for the farm. Being a non-chain store you can find unique offerings compared to other farm stores. The store is more of a warehouse style rather than wasting effort on fancy presentations. This can make some items harder to find but the staff are happy to point you in the right direction to find what you need. The prices are competitive to a bit below. Their large equine, clothing and trailer departments stand out. New items appear every week. I have found many items here that the other stores just don't have. Checking out is usually fast and friendly. Only rarely have I had to wait in line more than one deep. Parking has never been a problem either.
