Needed something for my older dog with occasional hip problems. Was sold a product for pain and inflammation. Turn out it was nothing but calming tablets. So, when she just lays around, she gets very stiff instead of up and around working it out. No pain medication in it!!! I think these people just want to make a sale! Be careful!

Good Dog came highly recommended by close friends of ours, and it was a great recommendation!My primary experience at this point is giving our dog a bath. They have clean facilities. Since it was my first time there, the gentleman working gave me a quick (but thorough) walk through. They provide everything needed to give a dog a bath: apron (to help keep you dry), shampoos, towels, and blow-dryer.While paying, I visited some with Erica. She was very knowledgeable. She demonstrated how one of the leashes they sell works, and I watched our energetic, 10 month old lab quickly settle down and be willing to cooperate with her. --Excellent investment! (Thanks, Erica!) I can now enjoy taking our dog in much needed walks without her trying to drag me all over the tri-state area.Cons: When I first arrived there was no one at the counter for a little while. He was off toward the bathing rooms with another customer. It was definitely worth the slightly awkward wait. Still, it might be worth investing in a "be right back" sign and courtesy bell.

The owner has been caught stealing items from neighboring businesses. They’ve been caught sweeping away ice melt from neighboring businesses walkways right after it was applied, endangering customers and employees. They have also been caught peeking into business windows, alarming the customers inside. Authorities are aware of these occurrences. Just really creepy behavior.

Stop I've never used their professional grooming services, but I love their self service. They basically just let you rent the room for $10 and they provide you with the wash station, professional drier, Dawn soap and tearless shampoo (or you can bring your own), ear cleaner and cotton balls. My house and dog are so much cleaner post bath when I can blow dry her completely without her fluff getting stuck to my ceiling. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable too.

The lady that works there js always helpful, knowledgeable, super sweet, & remembers us. It's right down the road from my house, but if it were across town, I'd still come for the dog food my dog absolutely loves. Much better quality products than anywhere else around.

I used the self service wash with my 95 lb Alaskan Malamute this morning. It was great! There was diluted Dawn dish soap and another dog shampoo to bathe your dog in. There are towels to towel dry with and then a blow drier to dry them. I love how affordable it was! I will definitely be back! Kyah also loved the little freeze dried dog treat she got.

If you want your dog treated like family then bring them to Good Dog for your grooming needs. Sam and his daughter are great people and they will love your pets just like you do.Our dog Blue is super hyper-allergenic because he's a white haired dog. They use special non- allergenic shampoo on him and take the time to get it all rinsed out.When they are done, he's so fresh and clean and I know that they haven't cut corners and I know that they have been super nice to him while working with him.Thank you Good Dog for taking such great care of our Blue! He loves coming to see you all!

We just took our dog to this place for the self service wash. It was amazing and a game charger. My dog hates getting baths so it’s always a struggle to get her clean. She’s also half corgi so she sheds constantly. The person at the front was great, showing us how to use the facilities. He saw that we were having trouble with brushing her undercoat and even recommended and let us use a brush that was as if it was made for our dog. By the time we finished brushing her, there was enough fur to make another dog. They provided soap and towels as well. The soap smelled great and there was no wet dog smell. The person would check and see if we were okay. It was a great experience and way cheaper than going to the groomers. I will be going back!

I use the self groom service for my dogs. They provide the soaps to clean them along with 2 towels and a blow dryer. They always clean the rooms before you use it next which is very nice. They have an apron you can wear so your dogs don’t get you even more wet. I also have gotten my dogs nails clipped and they are in and out in a quick minute, nails done right and cleaned up nicely. I’ve bought some of the bone marrow bones and my dogs loved them! Kept them busy for hours. Great price for everything. Very friendly staff.

I love this store! Took my took for a bath and the lady that helped me was so nice and the facility was fantastic as well. Very professional and clean and at an amazingly cheap price! I'll 100% be coming back for bathing my dog and will buy dog products from them over any other large chain any day!

I own 130 pound Great Pyrenees who, typical of the breed, sheds constantly. Good Dog Salon has provided the best and most professional quality grooming I've found in this area. I have used both their self-service grooming (amazing facilities with everything you need to bath, brush, groom, and dry your dog) and their full service grooming. I have been absolutely impressed with both.

I loved this place, we didn't have an appointment t but we're able to get squeezed in for nail clipping and our brand of food is hard to find but found the next best thing a d my dog loves it. They were kind and informative and the map took me right there.

I took my older American Eski to be groomed and he had not been groomed for awhile due to back issues. I was so amazed at the job they were able to do and how good he felt afterwards!!! They are AMAZING!!!! I will not take my babies any where else! We will now be able to make regular visits since they did such a awesome job!!! Thank you so much for taking your time with my Buddy and Bentley... Buddy is a new boy!!!

I decided to try this salon out for my service dog since the self-serve was a little less costly and you got more time than you did at the previous grooming place I used. It was the best decision I made for my dog's grooming needs and I will not be changing anytime soon.The man that is always working there when we go in on Saturdays (I believe he is the owner) is very knowledgable and he isn't on my back about the time limit, which is really nice because I often need a break due to my disabilities. It turns out their prices for their grooming services are all less expensive and you don't have to pay extra to "upgrade" and get your dog brushed out. We're talking literally HALF of what it would cost to have my dog done at Petsmart, where I'd probably pick him up to find he was shaved or something ridiculous.Outside of price, there is also the factor of the tubs being in their own little rooms so you have some privacy. The only thing I didn't like about that is that it does get a little warm and very humid (it's a tub, after all). I also wish there was a stool or something to sit on for people like myself that already have a hard time.The store also have a good selection of both dry kibble AND raw food along with some yummy treats and gear for your pet. It's always very clean and well managed as well.Overall I love this salon and the staff working it. I suggest it to everyone I knowand we drive all the way from Sarcoxie, MO.

Told me they were going to shave my goldendoodle due to having mats on feet and behind ears. He said goldendoodles are a difficult dog to keep groomed. I have many many friends and family members who have these dogs and they are not difficult dogs to keep groomed. My friend worked on my doodle for 2 hours and gave her a GREAT cut without having to shave her whole body down. He asked for no input on the matter and was not open to working with me on her mats, but wanted to take easy way out and shave her down completely. It would have been more helpful for him to have taken the time and not tell me how difficult these dogs are to keep groomed. I did the research before buying my dog and know all about the breed or I wouldn't have bought her. If they ever tell you they have to shave your dog, there is NO reason for it! She looks amazing and would have froze over the winter months for no reason.

Immediately after our dog was groomed, she started getting sick. We had to take her to our veterinarian which was costly but she finally recovered after taking medications. We even went back, but the owner is so unpleasant that I decided not to continue using his business. I could elaborate but I'm choosing not to. Just so you know, he is a complete ....a$$!!!

Very nice! Too old to shower 77 lb Shepherd all bent and crowded in our home shower. People there very nice and I will be a regular there from now on. Plus I think the dog feels good about the place too!

My beagle is a handful for everyone except Good Dog. He has such a calming influence! I love Good Dog. They also introduced me to a healthy way to feed my dog that changed her life. If you have time check this place out, if you don't have time make some!!

Friendly, helpful, knowlegeable. Sam gets my 2 houdini puppers nail trimmed in a snap and without hurting them or cutting them too short. Love they take walk ins. A shampoo they recommended performed beyond our expectations. Been going here for 2 years and never had a negative experience.

I went there to bathe my dog and he LOVED it! It's a small store but there are a lot of products to choose from and the prices are quite reasonable. The owner is very nice and very helpful too. I will definitely be going back there in the future.
