The prices here are disgusting. No one can afford this. I literally only go here because they sell the only bread I can eat (Ezekiel bread) and because they have an extensive collection of spirits. The butter when it's not on sale is over $8.00 a pound and their heavy whipping cream is $10?! Sure Schnucks gives millions to charity every year...but how about making prices affordable for the common person in the small towns who don't qualify for food stamps. Just a thought!!

Only place find my cheese, and 500 miles from home. John alway order for me, 12 blocks. John alway chats for few min. This year gave him sandwiches with the cheese. Was fishing with family there why don't mind 500 miles.

Well, I haven't been to schnucks in awhile. With that said, if you sign up with their app. You can actually score some pretty decent deals. You just have to take the time to check for electronic coupons. I went here shopping in the middle of the week, and did take my time to comparison shop with Walmart. Just a few of the really great deals I did score. Party size Bag of Doritos I saved $2.50, chicken wings I saved $7 on each bag, cheese dip I saved another $2.50, you . Just on the those 3 items I saved $10 on the Doritos and dip cause I bought two of each, chicken wings I saved $28 cause I bought 4 bags no joke. Then on top of this I got another $2 for schnucks cash. 3 items I literally saved $14 and at schnucks from all places. This really blows my mind to think I took about 5 extra minutes and saved myself $38. I do some quick math and I'm making $456 an hour shopping at schnucks, LoL. Sounds crazy and ridiculous, but I'm just telling you the facts. I found a year ago, that if you slow down when you go shopping. That you can actually save so much money it's beyond ridiculous! We all know that money doesn't grow on trees and we work hard for the little we get. If I can save like here, all I'm doing all day, everyday, is; "WINNING"!P.S. 1: If I can do it!U can do it!!!Guess what? Then, you'll be; "WINNING"!P. S. 2: Just to give you a incentive. There is usually not ashopping trip that goes by, where I don't save at least $100 to $200, just by either doing my homework. Or to take the extra time to research products. This adds up to a hard 8 hour day. Think about it.

The store is usually pretty clean and organized. I usually go in later at night to avoid crowds of people.Remember use your clipped coupons, schnucks app, and scan all your items.The elf hecckouts here suck, they are also touchy and picky. 🤬

I've typically had good experiences here, but I'm unsure if I'll be continuing business. I had an issue at self checkout with a worker over a simple mistake on my end. Three of my items were identical. I had scanned one and accidentally put an unscanned one in a bag (used the hand scanner so I set my item down and picked another unscanned item by accident). Honest mistake, I was figuring it out as the "please put your item in the bagging area" message played a couple times. The worker who was scheduled to oversee self checkout at that time came over to see what the hold up was about (mind you, I'm the only customer in self checkout). The problem was that she wasn't willing to listen to me for most of the process, spoke down to me very condescendingly, seemed to have some pre-estabilished bias and displayed some poor troubleshooting skills throughout the interaction while I had a simple explanation at the ready. It has to be a little embarrassing that I have to be the one to correct someone whose job is to manage an area like this after they have actively made the situation more complicated than it had to be. Especially when I'm the only customer in that area with only 7 items so it's not like she had much keeping her busy at that moment. I understand working with the general public can be exhausting at times and the frustration can be difficult to let go of but I can't help but feel somewhat targeted by whatever frustrations of the day she may have had. I'd be willing to give her the benefit of the doubt but I never treat my customers in such a way no matter my mood and I wouldn't expect Schnucks or any other store to either. Just a complete lack of patience and understanding.

I came to get a deli dinner today and was told that the customer has to get the chicken tender dinners now themselves. This causes you to have to reach over food to grab items in the back. This is very unhygienic. While it’s fine to get my own items, the rudeness in which it was explained will cause me to never come back to this location.

Have been a huge fan of the meat department here. The guys that work here are honestly top notch. My only complaint is that they have slowly made the jalapeno cheddar bratwurst worse. 2 or 3 years ago they were dynamite. Couldn't get enough, They would be the first thing gone at every barbecue. Then sometime last year they switched from fresh jalapenos to like freeze dried. Now they just down graded the cheese. Idk who is in charge of making these worse, but no thank you. You are doing a disservice to your loyal customers.

Pretty basic grocery store.Produce is better than Walmart in quality, price, and selection. Other items may be more or less expensive than Walmart. Better selection of things like fancy cheese. Much better selection of wine and local booze. Better deli.The butcher is worth making this the one stop for dinner supplies on your way home, even if a few things on your list are more expensive.

The Schnucks in Washington has the pick 4 which is really good and the bank inside is open till 7 which is perfect for the later crowd.

One star for failure to update your holiday hours. Thanks for providing lost hope and smashed dreams. If you are going to close then say so. Don't make people drive out in this cold weather to find your store locked up with a small sign saying your closed. At least Walmart had the fortitude to list an accurate status.

Was a very nice store, but I was surprised to see that there was some stuff they did not have, the shelves were almost full , but they didn't have a few things this time that I had gotten a few weeks back, it's like they put other stuff in it's place,or just had more of some stuff and spread it out more.
