The prices at this location are absolutely ridiculous! Good Will gets their items for FREE! Why is there a special locked display case for things like glasses or figurines? The items in the cases are priced higher than they are in antique stores. The manager of the Washington location should be ashamed. I asked a cashier if they have been getting complaints about the prices and she said yes. She then said they have to pay rent and pay workers...they have always paid rent and workers, that doesn't mean you should take advantage of people.

I was able to find a book I've been looking for for YEARS!!! I am so excited! They had a bunch of good stuff today. Also got a whole collection of marbles and an authentic Australian boomerang! How cool! Workers were great as always. Always lots of cool stuff to find at goodwill!

It's crazy that "Goodwill" gets EVERYTHING dumped to their door FREE, but does not mind trying to charge me $12.00 for a smelly blouse. Go figure. Goodwill laughs at it's customers all day.

I was in the store today 6-24-23 with my grandson and 2 nieces. My grandson will be 2 in August, he was yelling loudly but in a happy way. First there was an elderly lady making comments of well he's been doin that for a while then there was an associate that gave us a dirty look then was not very polite when we checked out. I get that he was being loud and screaming but it wasn't constant and it wasn't an annoying yell. It just upsets me when people want to be like that. They expect children to behave and be quiet in public

The prices are insane for secondhand items. Some home items are priced higher than brand new. Unless you find an absolutely priceless item, you'll be disappointed.

Let me begin with saying the staff are always exceptional. Until recently, until they changed the store, I would have given five stars all day long. It was a wonderful place to find all sorts of gems. The store was always clean and organized. Since this new change the store seems so disorganized. Everything is jammed together. The aisles are smaller and when people are shopping with carts you simply can’t get through. Now they seem to have much less of everything. The prices have always been great. A person could go in and find all sorts of great things. I’m not sure what’s taking place, but the changes are not good for the store.

I recommend visiting this store often as the stock changes frequently. If there is something you want and you are patient you'll get it cheaper than anywhere else. Never had a problem with stuff not working after purchase, and sometimes after you buy something requiring batteries it might have rechargeable in it! My personal lottery. Lol

Update as of 3/22/22Gross! Floors are so disgusting. Place stinks. Thought I'd give it another try since it has been a very long time since I set foot in here. Giving a one star now instead of 2. But really deserves zero!Let me start by saying I love a bargain! I invest in retail therapy (😝). I am a resale store junkie. I frequent goodwill (all over) as well as many other stores. You never know what you will find. Sometimes good and of course others bad. I can say the staff here is almost always friendly. However, since they have changed the store layout it is not as good anymore! Sad to see the store decline. The layout is not user friendly at all! It seems more messy. And I have to frown upon some of the pricing! These items are donated. But they will put very high price tags on some items. Sure, I understand the money is suppose to be for so called good causes, but let’s be for real! I am not going to pay $300 for a table that I can get somewhere else a lot cheaper. Or, a Nike hoodie for $15 with stains. $20 for shoes that are falling a part and have been chewed on by what looks like a dog. Whoever is pricing at this Goodwill has lost their mind! And please please please keep those bathrooms clean! I always refuse to use them. And the smell that comes out of there can make a person walk right back out of the store. Not sure if management is falling a part or what but it’s not as clean overall throughout store and prices suck on a lot as well as the layout sucks!

Overpriced for a store that’s mainly used items, the fact that your CEO makes over 700k and your workers make less than 14/hr says a lot about the company in general, best bet is to find an actual thrift store that’s goal isn’t to make money but help people. States it’s a nonprofit but clearly staff is being lowballed while upper management makes money off of used junk. Staff was also unfriendly at this location and the experience as a whole left a bad taste in my mouth. Will never be returning to another goodwill location as long as I’m alive.

Prices are high. Shelves usually not very full. Price stickers should be put on the side of items. Not on bottom. That way we can see the maker of item. People constantly pull up the stickers. Because they want to see that information.

Although I like the size of the new Goodwill location, it is 90% clothing. No fitting rooms, no furniture, very little in the way of housewares to speak of. I was expecting more diversity with the store being so much larger.

Prices at this particular Goodwill is in line with Walmart prices for new product. Save money and go to literally any other Goodwill but Washington MO.

Im new to the area and decided to stop by this store. I was met by a lady named Debra McGinley. Such a helpful professional person. However hired her did Goodwill a great service. Classy, knowledgeable and sharp as a tack. Made me feel like I was her very own son. Is everybody like this here?

The staff comes and goes and they are all A-ok and the merchandise is typical of Goodwill (I go to all them St. Louis to Jefferson County to Franklin County to St. Charles). You still come across some cool stuff but it's as high as an antique store unless you stumble in on an especially good sale day. But I buy all my casual clothes here and at other Goodwill stores.

The prices are high. Compared to other second hand stores and even retail stores (like Target, Walmart, and Dollar Tree) this location has significantly high prices. For example, a glass drink dispenser was $15 here and the exact dispenser from Walmart is only $12. A ceramic owl that is originally sold from Dollar Tree for $1 was $3 here. The prices on some items are even higher than at antique stores! They did have a sale on blue tags when I went today, but I only saw a blue tag on 1 item that I looked at. As a second hand store, these prices shouldn't even be that close to buying new, so for them to be higher than new is absolutely ridiculous and classist.This was not my first time trying this location and being disappointed, so at this point I will not be returning.

Friendly staff and a wide and varied selection of items. Prices are reasonable and with their weekly colored tag half price specials excellent bargains can be found. Today bought a large pet carrier for twenty dollars. At least ten dollars cheaper than prices at the route 66/hwy 50 flea market close to Union. Four men's short sleeved shirts with pockets for seven dollars also was a good deal.

This was one of the best Goodwill's I have been to! The staff was incredibly friendly and made the shopping and donating experience so much better. The store itself was very organized and well put together. I highly recommend checking it out.

I use to really enjoy going to this store. But now in the back where knick knacks are it's gotten so junky and trashy looking. I watched a tall, elderly lady taking things off carts and shoving it wherever!! Books are nice and neat and clean. I buy all my books here. Way too much Halloween stuff.

While I was in the store, I saw a TV for 50.$ tag said it was missing the remote. I thought that would be easy to replace. Went to plug it in to make sure it even came on; the power cord laying beside it didn’t go to it. I ask about it and a very nice man went to one of more authority. “Tonya” was rude to the man and rude to me. Said “ they (customer)can buy a cord for the TV”. If it doesn’t have a power that goes to it then they (goodwill) doesn’t even know if it works at all. So this Tonya from goodwill wants the customer to buy a TV for 50.$ that may not work then buy the power cord and remote for it.Really!!!

Always able to find great deals! Great staff and awesome items make this my favorite thrift store! I buy most of my clothing and accessories here and get great compliments! You may have to search a little but I promise you will find a deal! Plus it's all for a very very good cause!

I drove an hour to see this place and the staff was awful. One walked into and didnt say a word, and the rest completely ignored us. Stood in check out with my stuff for 5 minutes and not so much as a word of acknowledgement. Was the other checker not coming back? Was I on the wrong side? No clue. Thanks for the waste of time and gas. Great items but not a staff that deserves my money.

As of 5-01-2022 prices have gone up dramatically. It barely fits into my budget now. Clothing went up only $1, but many things doubled in price. Most home decore has went up 1/3.

I really like this store nice selection. They don't put out over worn items. Usually have a good shoe selection. Price can be high on somethings.Wish Goodwill would go back to being cheaper.

Store has great selection , staff is great. Only negative thing is some items, are TOO overpriced, if I can go to Wal-Mart and get the same thing brand new the same price, is ridiculous. These items are donated, I donate and I wouldn't expect a used item to be marked the same price I bought it. Goodwill is suppose be a thrift store.

It was a clean store with friendly ladies!However, their shelves were bare. Prices were as high as new items also. One customer said whomever marked the items must have been drunk! LOL!!!

They throw away a lot of their donations away and crush it in a compactor, stuff perfectly fine and things people would buy. They tell employees to "do it when no customers are looking or near". Messed up. I wouldn't donate. Ever.

Of all the Goodwill stores I've been to this one is the best! Staff is friendly & everything is nice! You need to be wearing a mask due to covid and be kind to the staff.

the staff is always very friendly . I love going to goodwill you never know what your going to find. I call it an indoor rummage sale. I also say retail is for suckers.
