I recently adopted my fur baby from them. I paid $400 for a supposedly healthy dog. They never gave her a heart worm test while in their care according to their own vet. My baby has heart worms. I specifically asked if she was healthy. Now we have to endure an emotional and financial nightmare. Get your rescue animals somewhere else. The money you pay at this place is just going in their pockets

No time to spare is an amazing place with a group of volunteers and an owner who LOVES the dogs. They are a dog rescue and can only take cats when their fosters are available! This place is truly like a family! They are constantly growing and handling everything to the best of their capability (:I adopted my boy Caspian, now Bellamy, and it was a wonderful experience! They care so much about the animals!Seeing some of the negative comments here kind of blows my mind! Ever since i adopted my boy, i volunteer here ALL the time and it’s truly a family of volunteers and workers! Please take a minute to understand what we see everyday as a non-profit animal rescue. As much as They would love to get back to every single person who shows interest in a dog, they are solely run on volunteers! Trying their best!❤️ Support the ones that put all their time into the animals that were forgotten instead of finding ways to tear them down!❤️

Sent a text to the number listed on a Sunday and someone reached out within 5 min. They do in home fostering in some cases and this was one of them. The woman was beyond nice. Filled out the online adoption app. Met them at their event at pets mart and took our kitten home! They do great work! The dogs and cats they rescue just want to be loved on!

Adopted a wonderful American Bulldog from them. They were awesome to work with, and even checked a week or so later to see how everything was going. Great people and facility. Highly recommended.

Little over a year ago I had to get rid of my dog Aris. She is a full blooded Belgian Malinios. If you know anything about the breed you know that they are not for just anyone. Well I refused to surrender her to just any animal control or any shelter that may have been a kill shelter. I contacted no time to spare and when they took her they kept me up dated on her during her stay with them. She wasn't there long before she was adopted by the dog trainer that they used. From what I here she is in a very good home now. It was really hard separating from her and NTTS did not have to keep me updated on her. That really meant a lot to me.

This place is horribly unprofessional and sold me a dog with chronic health issues and refuses to admit it or even reply to me. Their vet lied and said the dog was fine when I brought her in for the first appointment, even though I told him she still had diarrhea. In less than 3 months, I've spent my life savings on vet bills and now my dog has cancer and the rescue won't even get back to me. Someone suggested I contact them for help with my dog's vital surgery that could save her life because I cannot afford anymore vet bills. Most rescues will try to help with a fundraiser or even just links to resources but not this one. I contacted them and they kept giving me the run around, demanded I send her medical records, blamed the foster mom for he health conditions (her foster mom has been the only helpful person who cares about the dog), and then said they will try to get the rescue owner to contact me. She never did and never replied to me. Now my dog will die without the surgery she needs if I cannot fork over another $4000. The worst part is they don't even care to reply. Even a sorry we can't help would have been more professional than leading me on for weeks and then the owner refusing to even acknowledge us. I feel like I was scammed and the worst part is my dog has suffered so much because of it. We spent months and thousands of dollars on diagnostic tests to find out what was wrong when the rescue knew she had a problem all along. So disappointing, will never recommend this place to anyone.

We recently adopted a pointer mix puppies and had a great experience. I inquired information on a Saturday and was able to get in and adopt the very next day even though they were not open for public showings. The ladies that I worked with (Kim and Christina, I believe were their names) were very helpful and educated about the puppies. They were already seen at Animal Talk in Wentzville and being treated for worms (very common in puppies). I will and have recommended this place to some of my peers. The price was fair and they seems to run the place well. I have read some of the reviews from the past and they have seemed to figure out their issues and getting better. Thanks!

I rated this place 1 star because all I have been is ignored by this rescue. I filled out you alls form online with a message about what I was needing, I called the office number and sent a text to Carol she looked at my messages and never responded. That was on Thursday around 1030 am and this is Saturday and still no response back from anyone all I've gotten is ignored like I have been by all the rescues and shelters that I've called in the the last 3 months. I'm needing help rehoming my deceased mother In-laws cats so I don't have to turn them into outside cats tonight.

We came on a Saturday afternoon following an adoption event in Wentzville. Though word of our coming hadn't been shared with the person at the shelter, a volunteer, Donna, took the time to help us patiently. She was most concerned that we found a good match for our puppy.We adopted a Pitbull/Terrier mix puppy, planning to eventually train it to be a service dog for our daughter. The puppy we chose is good natured and healthy. We took her this morning to be spayed (part of the adoption costs). The dogs we saw looked healthy and loved, especially considering that the shelter is run entirely by volunteers.Thank you for taking care of Sweetie-Pie until we were able to bring her home!

I ended up having to move out of state and had just rescued a small breed puppy 5 months prior from a private owner. I had one older special needs dog already and was moving with my daughter, due to unforseen circumstances, who also had a dog. I knew it was going to be extremely difficult to find a place to rent with 3 dogs. I contacted NTTSAR and asked about owner surrender of a young small dog (I knew she'd be more adoptable than my special needs older dog, eventhoughit brokemyheart) and Carol was wonderful with helping me. I'd tried to find the pup a new home on my own but was having difficulty. Again Carol was a great help with my lil pup and was able to find her a suitable forever home. Broke my heart but I trusted NTTSAR to find a proper home for my lil girl. They were completely professional and are very caring of all their animals. I understand they cant take every but they were a godsend to me and absolutely recommend NTTSAR!!!

I had returned a pup after an incident. I was told I’d be contacted later that day to arrange for refund. However I was told the next day that it was non-refundable and on papers I had signed. I never signed any paper saying non-refundable. All the papers I signed just said that it’s non-transferable. Since, I had sent them pictures of my papers, which they should have on file, they will read my messages but not reply. I feel like I was played and definitely not informed of everything at signing! I would not recommend then at all.

This is a wonderful animal sanctuary and they charge a reasonable adoption fee. They're very honest about their animals even letting you know if an animal has been returned to them and the reason why they were returned. My husband and I went to one of their adoption events at Petsmart on December 14, 2019 so I could pick out my Christmas present🐕. Everyone with this organization was wonderful and so patient. I fell in love with three of the dogs, unfortunately I could only take one home and I was having a difficult time deciding which dog to adopt. They worked with us for well over an hour helping me decided which dog would be best for our family. They went over all the details they had for each dog and talked a little about each breed, plus they let me walk each dog thru the store to ensure I'd be able to control them (I'm disabled). In the end we choose Nira who has since been renamed Lucky since she didn't answer to Nira. Thank you so much for everything No Time to Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, she's settling in well and doing great!

Since no time to spare keeps deleting my comment on Facebook I will come to here. I went to pet smart today to adopt Jackson, the women who runs the rescue was so focused on her phone that it took me 10 minutes to get her attention, she did not turn off her phone or even set it down, she was very short with me and went back to her phone after every question. I was a big fan of this rescue when I didn’t know the people but now I’m not.

I can not give this shelter/rescue a review,we had a stray cat show up to our property, we tried to ignore him in Hope's he would move on,he was friendly and we tried our best to find a place for him,however niether this shelter or others near by ,would return our calls.after 2 weeks at our property, one morning he was gone,due to some evidence I found,mother nature took its course. Unfortunate,he was a pretty good cat.

Do not bring any lost/dumped/stray CATS here. They DO NOT have room for cats as of APRIL 2021.They don't have this information posted anywhere, so when we brought a few dumped cats up to their shelter they declined the cats.Causing us to take over 20 mile trip to a different shelter after already traveling to their location.One of the lady volunteers was rude and had no suggestions on a different shelter to take the cats.

We have has an hard time getting a hold of anyone to adopt one of the dog we were interested. I'm left 3 messages and emailed them. Can't get anyone to call back just to answer a question. I've worked with many rescues so very sad that these dogs may be in care longer than needed to due to lack of response.
