I contacted Martin's Tractor from out of state, looking for a Land Pride 4715 or 5715 when my local dealers couldn't or wouldn't locate one. I had the pleasure of dealing with Stanley who gave me a lot of information and insight about the mowers and managed to locate a 5715 with the specs I was looking for. Due to a couple of property related issues, I did not end up buying a batwing style mower, but my experience dealing with Stanley and Martin's tractor was very positive. If you are in the market for some farm equipment, I highly recommend that you give them a call.

I bought a IH 684 Tractor from Martin's over the phone because it was 4 1/2 hrs from my home. I was a little uneasy doing it until talking with Stanley multiple times and having him send me any picture that I asked for. He always had time for my questions and requests for him to check "just one more thing". I asked a LOT of questions because I am very picky about buying something like this. I had just traveled 4hrs roundtrip to look at a used tractor that the seller said had no leaks, all gauges worked, trans shifted fine, no smoke, and no issues with anything on it. Unfortunately when I got there, the gauges did NOT work, the trans would hardly shift into gear, and it had several leaks. I told Stanley about this and he double checked for any leaks under the tracctor and checked it again for smoking at start up and after it got warmed up. I sent the money, Stanley scheduled the shipping, and it arrived earlier than I expected. Over the next couple of weeks I looked it over and operated it to really check it out and can say that it was exactly as Stanley had described it to me on the phone. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a tractor or piece of equipment.

LIARS, THIEVES, GREEDY ROBBERS....They said they were giving me $3000 trade in on my tractor. I also paid another $700 cash down, over the 3k trade. I should've had a total of $3700 towards the new tractor. When the paperwork was done, it showed the 3k at the bottom. I thought this was for the trade. Instead they took the 700 cash and took that off the 3k trade... so the paperwork shows they only gave me a 2300 trade. I called about this to have it corrected. Stanley Martin told me "You should read your paperwork better". He would not fix the error. So I was LIED to and ROBBED of $700.00! This was the worst business and absurd customer service. I hope they enjoy the $700 because I will never buy a tractor through them again, and I recommend that nobody does. If they can pull one over on you, THEY WILL DO IT!!! When Greed comes before service, RUN!
