1. The owner replies on Google and is absolutely amazing! I love seeing the interactions on here.2. We had to take our dog Ralph here a while ago to get put down, it was the first time we had really gone up there to my memory. We called AFTER HOURS and I think the owner and a doctor came down to help us in our time of grief and need. They were so caring, helpful and supportive despite me uprooting their own personal time. They also charged basically nothing which is small but matters a lot to me. It has always stuck with me that they did this because that shows true compassion, not just for the owners but also the pets.3. We've taken our cats there recently and so far it's been amazing with good prices and helpful staff!

We can’t thank Homestead Vet enough for taking care of our sweet Lilly. Then last week when she needed to cross the rainbow bridge they were so compassionate. No cold metal table they let your pup be comfortable on a bed, gave us paw prints and their sincere condolences.

Unfortunately I had to put my precious cat to sleep. I had never been there before and they got me in the very same day. They were very very compassionate and understanding in my time of grief. Highly recommend I will be going back but hopefully next time not for something so sad. Rest in peace my baby sugar bear I miss you and love you ❤️

We were driving from Nashville and needed to make a semi-emergency stop at a vet to have our pup checked. My mom recommended we call this place. They said they could fit us in last minute which is unheard of at most places, especially not as an established patient. The facility is clean and welcoming. We saw Dr. Jarred and he was so down to earth and willing to do what was needed for our pup without a ton of red tape processes in place. Our pup needed chest X-rays and he brought in the X-rays afterwards to show us and even compared them to a dog with an issue to show us the comparison which we’ve never had a doctor do. It was such an amazing experience for our random stop. Thanks to everyone there who helped! We wish you guys were in nashville. Def recommend.

This was a last minute appointment. Going out of town, my cat needed shots to get boarded however I didn't realize this till the morning I was leaving, which happened to be a Friday 🙄 called a dozen vets and this is the only one that would see her. So I get there (it's really easy to find) they put us in a room right away, I opened the carrier door, out flew Kit Kat.... and her soaked hind quarters. She peed on the way there. But the the tech (I wish I could remember her name) was so so nice, she got some paper towels and helped me clean up her mess! Then the vet....not only is he incredibly good looking (no disrespect to him or his wife) but was very knowledgeable, actually listened to and answered questions, very nice and he and his assistant helped me freshen up Kit Kat since we were headed straight to the kennel from there!! Huge thanks to everyone that helped us that day. I plan to make this Kit Kat's new vet! Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Homestead is by far the best veterinarian I have ever used. Dr. Steck and all the techs are absolutely wonderful! I had a vet I was using 5 mins from my home, but my dog needed surgery and was recommended to them. Best decision I ever made for my pups! I now drive 30 minutes 1 way just to use them and will continue to do so. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Unfortunately our dog took a turn for the worst during a snow storm. Between my mother, husband and I we called over 10 veterinarian's. Everyone was closed due to the horrible road conditions. The voicemail's all referred an emergency hospital far away. This was the only place I could find an actual on call vet. Sam returned my call in 10 minutes and met my husband to put our dog out of her misery. Sam was busy driving around helping everyone out during a bad storm and I will forever be greatful. We will now bring all of our pets you for they're needs. Thank you!!!!!

When our sweet Grace took a turn for the worse Homestead was there for us. It’s difficult enough knowing that you may need to euthanize your beloved pet but Dr Speck was wonderful with her and with us. He calmly explained the diagnosis and compassionately helped us through the process. I have used Homestead for over 20 years and highly recommend them. Thank you 🙏

This was my first time taking my dog to this vet. And I knew right away this was a great experience. I felt at ease when stepping out of car and we walked in and greeted with a smile. Finally, a vet that truly cares about your pet instead of just what they can get from your wallet! I highly recommend Dr. Steck even though the prognosis for our family dog wasn't the greatest he cared and explained every option to me and even offered to talk over the phone with my out of town son to explain everything to him as well.

I've known the horse vets for 15 years and they're fantastic. Driving all the way from Maryland Heights now for my dog to get to know the small animal vets too. Having my dogs teeth done for the first time next week with hopefully fantastic results as the vet near us charges almost 3 times as much. Praying for a great experience to come. From initial visit I'm I've been impressed with their office and vets. Their office is fairly new and very nice as well!

This veterinary office is really good. I bring my little dog here and she is crippled and the workers here are really good with her. Dr. Schlanger is her Dr. and took care of her really good, and she sees the chiropractor here as well and Dr. Georgevitch is really careful and although her front legs will remain crippled, I have noticed alot of positive improvement in her posture and back side and certain activities she does, since being under chiropractor care here. This is a super good place and all the workers that I have come across, have been super nice and caring.

We were passing through the area on a road trip, and my dog started having issues, so we called to see if they could see us. They got us right in and checked her out. Dr. Steck was very knowledgeable and helped ease my mind. He even called the next day to check on her! The facility was beautiful and well taken care of! Highly recommended!

I called around 9 am and they had me bring out my cat immediately. The whole crew were excellent and caring. The vet explained everything and let us choose the route of care! Incredible !!Our cat has stopped coughing after returning home! We our so thankful that they treated her so quickly!!!We have a forever vet family!

I had never used this vet before but my regular vet was out of town. They showed up within 30 minutes of my call and took great care of my horse. Unfortunately she had a broken leg and we were unable to save her but the care the vet took with both me and my horse was amazing. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.. thank you so much homestead veterinary services.
