We like to go to dollar general on saturdays to take advantage of dollar generals saturday coupons. We mainly get detergent for the many loads of laundry done in our house. Another thing that has become popular to get now at dollar general is cheap farmhouse decor. My wife has taken quite the liking to many of the cute items they offer for farmhouse decor and ferry gardens.

Absolutely worst dollar general I was ever in. And that’s saying a lot considering I’ve been in a lot of dollar general stores. The store wasn’t all bad but who ever the cashier was is terrible. She was so rude and so misunderstanding. I never meet anyone one more racial and she was so mean

We tend to shop here over Walmart simply bc less people. It's a smaller, but a bit cramped store. We need a bigger store, but lucky to have it. They've got a good crew working in there, & they're always helpful. I've never had a bad experience shopping or returning anything here. Love that there's an online app to help find deals & scan items for pricing or savings when deals available, or to know exact total for what's in your cart!

I put 5 stars because i worked with some great ladies there, and I love Marianne she's a friendly, curious, hard working lady. However during the pandemic when employees were doing their best to keep shelves stocked and the store put back together, and hold it together with no upper management. We were the ones that kept the doors opened In the beginning of the toilet paper non- perishable storage. Then we got a manager and more help to achieve the goal of keeping this store opened we all thought maybe we could breath a little. NOT A CHANCE! He went in vacation once again leaving us w, an an assistant Ann's 1 key holder. Some of us kept going hoping our hard work world lead to someplace w the company and some were just tired of being taken advantage of and quit. Leaving less help, but its good that they did, because none of us that were there fighting for the store made it anyplace, instead they hired from outside the store.. it's a great place to shop but working for them or at least him. Turned out to be the most non- rewarding job ever.

Horrible customer service!! I stood there waiting for three minutes while the unknown girl fumbled from register to register. Never engaged me, said anything to me. No hello, no wait a sec I’m having issues.. didn’t know she rang me up.. piss poor to say the least. Who knows who she was, no name tag nothing.. typical of this store.

They're all are doing greatest job because they are so great and we enjoy going there. We go there at least30 or more times a week. Now that I am ablebe in town more, I get there more , but now I got to my second job at 604 W. Clay Rd Versailles Mo. 65084. That where my mom livesI am her cartaker

never have my flavored water, does not matter when I go in they are always out. But do have the 1 bottle on the self that is open for at least 2 weeks, So I don't use this DG, I make a point to go to a different town to get my DG stuff

The level of disorganization is alarming at this Dollar General. I understand customers rudely move items or decide not to purchase an item & set it down wherever, but that's not unlike any other retail or grocery store. Literally, items are just piled or shoved in random places, often spilling over onto the floor. At times, it's been difficult to even navigate the isles--so I rarely bother with getting a cart.But hey, it beats going into Wal-mart when you only need a few items.

Got decent stuff for decent price but customer service was kinda poor... Clerk yacked on the phone w a friend the whole time n I think the only 2 words she said to me was "two bags"... Not very friendly.

Sucked. The cashier was not around and the person behind the mirrored glass which we could see on her cell phone texting or playing games would not come check us out after being asked repeatedly left everything on the register.

If you like an organized, clean store with merchandise well-displayed, this store is probably NOT for you. You wait for service at the register but it’s ok when you get it.

Versailles dollar store has the worst sevice of I have visited; and, I hate having to ask for a key to the restroom like a grade schooler. The manager is very rude.
