Had a fantastic time visiting the animals and watching the eclipse on the lovely lake. Worth a trip. The staff was friendly and informative, prices were reasonable, and animals were relaxed, and well fed with clean enclosures. Being a roadside zoo and the enclosures being small, I was a bit concerned for their welfare, but I really enjoyed my visit especially the animal encounter with Minnie the Lemur. We had a great time eating hot dogs, petting the kangaroos, learning about the artesian water source, underground railroad history, and planning for gold (and finding lots of semi precious stones. My only wish was better direction, map, or instructions after buying tickets. As an autistic person people here were friendly, but it was a bit confusing knowing where to go to cash in my animal feed token and what exhibits were open. As a result we had to backtrack to ask questions a few times and I didn't know they had big cats or a coatimundi we could visit until the very end during the lemur encounter we had to put for separately from the main area. I was too tired to go see them by then and wished there was signage to indicate how to see them at the beginning.

We are so glad we stopped here! Everyone was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and how cool is it to be able to pet all of the critters! The cave tour was intense, it's not your average tourist attraction. You carry your light and some of the areas to pass are incredibly short and narrow. I loved the adventure of it but my tall husband opted to back out so I probably wouldn't recommend it if you're over 6' or claustrophobic. All and all it was an awesome experience!

This is a pretty cool place for the kids. The cave tour is short. Like, 10-15 minutes short. Expect to duck down for most of the tour. The walk way for most of the tour is a wood platform over a cave stream, so expect to have wet feet/shoes. Maybe wear boots, instead of sandals or running shoes. If you want to take good pictures of the cave, take your time. The guide of the tour really tries to rush you out of the cave. The tour could have lasted longer than 10-15 minutes if he would have just talked about the formations, or even shined a flashlight on them. He really just walks you through the cave, and that's it.The kangaroo feeding and petting is well worth the trip! I had most of my fun just being with the kangaroos. The gem mining is a great experience for the kiddos. Adults maybe not so much. You pay for the dig, pick a bag of dirt, pan it out, and then you can dig in rock quarry. The rock quarry is just a sand pit that they buried minerals, rocks, fossils, and teeth in. I still found it fun to be able to dig items.

There are some interesting animals, we came home with a fee big bags of pretty stones, my little dude got to pet a kangaroo! Held a snake, pet a big turtle. There's a cave and the little ram will play "ram", if you offer him the chance to. He hits as hard as my big ram at home! But he calms right down with some chin scratches. My little guy loved it, his cousin loved it. Dad touched a snake!Anyway, it was fun. And small enough to feel safe for the kiddos.

This place is clean and the animals all seem very well cared for. What an experience! I never thought kangaroos would be so soft! They were sweet tempered and even polite. I left this place with my heart lightened. I will definitely go again!! Cute gift shop, awesome wood carvings and decorations all over. The parrots were very active and excited, too.

So worth your stop! We stopped here two years ago traveling through this area, and made sure to stop on our way through again this year! Our family feed the kangaroos, which was such fun. Our favorite is Clifford, the old male. The three employees were so kind, and truly loved working there. The young man that gave us a tour of the other animals and of the cave, was so much fun too. We cannot wait to stop again!

Took scouts here and did a full tour plus small zip line. The cave was tight and if you are tall or have hard time getting around, this might not be good for you. The staff was great with zip line, but did not understand caves well. Overall it was good for people to get close up in caves. The zip line was not much but was not long (did small one). The man running area was great and staff was friendly. I would do cave again and try the long zip line next time. Owner has turtles and snakes, so kids got some hands on experience with them.

Hubs and I had a wonderful time! Took us back to being a kid! We purchased the park pass which includes the museum/snake house, a bag of gems or fossils to pan,the turtle pen, the panning/digging site for fossils and gems, and the cave tour. There is a nice parking area that has a pavillion with picnic tables. We really enjoyed ourselves and if you have kids they will love it! I overcame my fear of heights and did one line of ziplining!! One of the best choices I made and it was only $15.00! Sandy and Diane are so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, they love their job! They were so encouraging!! The cave tour was neat!!! Took about 30 minutes to get through, lots of bending although there are several places to stand upright. We will definitely go back!

It was an AMAZING experience! It's always been my dream to pet a kangaroo and this place made it happen. I didn't want to leave! My husband, son and I all loved it. The kanagroos were beautiful and really enjoyable. The bunnies are some of the biggest ones I've ever seen in my life. Will definitely be going back several times!

The zoo is just starting but it is a great little place to stop. We loved interacting with the kangaroos at the Kentucky one that we had to stop at this one.

The Kangaroos are the most fun and it costs 1$-5$ to feed and pet them, they're very friendly and will let you pet them. The caves are still cold, wet and amazing, the tour guide gave good and new information I didn't know about the caverns.

Incredible! A surprising find in a place with not much else available. They surpassed our expectations with knowledgeable, present, and friendly staff. The price got a little expensive with our big group, but was every bit worth the money. We let our kids split a bag of rocks to sluice, and shared cups to feed the birds and other animals. If you love animals, don't miss this!! If you are curious.. GOOOO! If you have a few hours to stretch your legs on a long drive passing through-- there is so much wonder and beauty at this place.

Nice place. A group of us went and did the zipline and cave tour. The cave is a couple hundred yards long and has some cool things to see. It's ducking height for about half of the couple hundred yards. The zipline is a three line course, and was really fun! The guides were really nice and fun, as well as professional and safe. There wasn't a moment where I felt unsafe.Overall, it was a really great experience and I would definitely go again!

Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Guides are very friendly and love to answer questions about the cave and park. If you're looking to go on a cave tour but not able to or just not up for a long walk this is the experience for you.

There was only 2 customers there besides us. We didn't take any tours because it was raining & we didn't bring enough money but I did see some kangaroos. I didn't even have to have a ticket to see them. My family and I plan to go back later this summer. According to the ads I seen they also have a cave tour. I'm not sure about the prices. I believe it is $20 per person to see animals like the kangaroos & maybe it's $50 if you add the cave tour. Call the phone number to get the correct prices because we just guessed and didn't have enough money. They are located maybe a mile after you cross the big bridge (depending upon which way you are coming from). They are where the Zip Line used to be. You may not believe my review after I tell you this. I swear, I really believe I saw Sasquatch (Big Foot) there. 🤭
