Came in later- around 10p. I was given room 101 which was a quaint, cute little room with a bed, table, and TV. The bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as I laid down. The owner is amazing. She was quick to assist me with my questions- and requests. I will be back with my wife whenever possible. Thank you so much for being so accommodating.Nearby activities: The river scene is amazing.

At first glance your thought is "oh boy" -- and not in a good way. Then you check in, get your old fashioned door key, and walk in to a clean, very well maintained room. The bed was a little stiff, but you can't please everyone. Not a lot of creature comforts in a town of 750, but it is the perfect place to bed down for the night.Nearby activities: Ozark Scenic Riverways Park is within driving distance with loads of outdoor activities.Food & drinks: Las Margaritas is within walking distance near the Van Buren police dept.

Really Nice Roadside MotelThe first thing you'll notice is how pretty it looks on the outside. In front of all the units are benches or chairs plus small tables. Inside, the unit is decorated by someone who cares about their guests. Comfortable bed, armchair, microwave, and refrigerator make your stay a great place to relax. The bathroom is clean and bright, nicely renovated. The Television works well, although there are no major cable stations. However, there are plenty of good channels to choose from.Charlotte and Donna made me feel like a family member they were actually happy to see.I was having major Rheumatoid flare-ups, and didn't even think to take pictures. I also wasn't up to eating in the restaurant so the Convenience Store just across the road had a wide selection of Hot and Cold meal items for takeout, making it easy to eat in my room.

Folks...it's not the Taj Meehal . This place is perfect for what it is..."A clean place to lay your head". The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Most people that visit this area are here for float trips. The Current Inn even has a nice pool and a Restaurant. The motel looks a little rough on outside as it's been around since the 50s but the interiors are nice.Nearby activities: Big Springs park,Hellbenders music venue on the Current river,Float trips.Safety: Very safe almost bucolic.Food & drinks: Must visit Jolly Burgers and Shakes,Blue Herron.

This motel was convenient to everything.. the office staff was fantastic. The pool was unbelievable and it was open all nite as long as you wasn't being loud and disturbing anyone. Cute little restaurant next door but we didn't eat there. The motel provides a grille so we grilled 2 nites we were there. Met alot of super ppl from tennessee and mississipp and made new friends. We will definitely stay here again.Rooms: The rooms are sufficient but the bathrooms are small with no fan. But they were clean.Nearby activities: Current river for floating, hiking trailsWalkability: The river and downtown was closeby. A good little restaurant was across the street.

This is a quaint little motel like I went to in the 60's and 70's. Very hands on motel owners they care not only about their guests, but their employees as well. We will definitely return to this lovely spot of American small town hospitality!The little restaurant is amazing! Their prices were reasonable.

We were in a bind for a place to stay . We went with an open mind. The office smelled bad. The room did not smell bad except for the overpowering automatic air freshener. There was a party going on outside ALL night. The shower was dirty. The room was very old and many things were rigged together. The blinds in the bathroom were broken where people could see in. The comforter was not clean. At 5 am we heard a very loud sound. My husband got up to see what was going on. He stepped in standing water. The rooms had flooded from the rain. Some places the water was 1/2 inch deep. Mud had come though the back wall. The sound was a shop vac used by the employees to clean up the water. They said that the rooms had not flooded in 2 years. They seemed to be in a hurry for us to leave at 5 am. Not good! I asked for a refund but got none! Do not stay here!

Got stuck on the side of the road when my car died, 4 hours from home. They went above and beyond to help us out, the owner stopped and checked on us and the tow driver was super! Not only did he take us to our hotel and made sure we had a room for the night but also made sure we knew where to go for food and anything else we need for the night! Thank you guys so so much!!!!

Love this little roadside Inn/Motel. These kinda places are dying and it's a good thing the newer owners have put money into this place to keep it around a while longer. Nice pool. Great location. Well within walking distance to restaurants, city park, Jolly Cone, outfitters, etc. The ONLY complaint I have that I hope they fix before we come back next year is to make their WI-FI signal stronger somehow. We were in room 119 (Nice room, 2 double beds) the back corner and the signal was weak. I could walk out the front door of our room and it would work but was weak inside the room.

Current River Inn, What an amazing place to stay and explore. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The rooms were so clean and decorated with an at home feel.The creations and temptations on-site food was great! Won’t hesitate staying here every time. So many sites to see and fun outdoors activities to do.

The staff went above and beyond to get me a room with the best bed available because of prior back surgery. Cute and clean rooms. Only wish their pool had a little more lighting in the evening. 2 people in my group tripped over chairs because it was so hard to see.

I dearly wanna give more stars but google only allows 5 so 5 it shall be!! This hotel is a small gem in cozy little town of friendly people. I would like to personally thank the owner miss donna maclearn she was amazing and extremely sweet we called very late at night but she wasn't rude at all she was pleasant got us checked in and made sure we were cozy. The rooms were awesome the beds are plushy and so are the fuzzy pillows she puts on it!! The bathroom is just as nice you can't ask for a more cozy room. The pool was quite lovely and it held the clearest water you could possibly get in a pool and they had pool floats for the kids and sunscreen incase you forgot yours!! The hotel staff was just as equally amazing and they happen to be the owners daughter and grand daughter!! Miss kylie and miss julie were kind and considerate the do not disturb sign was placed backwards on the door knob to read please clean the room instead of do not disturb, but the ladies did not bother us not once. I forgot to mention miss donna suggested a cafe to eat at called spring house if you get the chance go eat there you won't be sorry. This was the most peaceful hotel i have ever stayed at and if i come through van buren i will be back.
