The staff is awesome especially all the ones that had to transition from sticks to schnucks. So glad most of the others stores stayed on I'm not sure of the new management they brought in though from the Schnucks company.As for the store itself nothing like the bigger schnucks at all. I Really believe it waa better stocked etc when it was fricks

At first I thought it would be perfect. Boy was I wrong... lack of product, freshness of produce and all the prepackaged meals. The deli being closed down before six o'clock. What's that about? The same for the meat dept. Great employees 👏, doing their best.Managers need a class on stepping up when their employees need help. I don't see that happening....

Like I heard elderly lady say the other night "it seems like I'm in line at an airport" and I couldn't agree more.Right before dinner time, lines are always backed up down the aisles and most times there's only 2 sometimes 3 registers open out of 7. That's when they also think it's best to train new employees in the closed registers...It's not the employees fault, it's the management and something needs to be done about it.Also, considering it isn't Fricks anymore and it's a Schnucks location, no idea why deli doesn't carry the Boars Head brand.This building is already on the smaller size compared to other schnucks locations, yet at every corner or any little empty space there has to be some random unneeded thing that they're trying to make you buy, like pallets of soda or random snacks in the middle of the store. Those should belong on a shelf.There's also no need for a big sunglasses stand, gift cards display, little candle melty things right where I'm trying to check out only to bump into the darn things then they fall! It's a grocery store!! If I need those things I'd go to Target or Walgreens.

I want to like this store but it's not the same as the Washington location. Many items are found cheaper at other stores so I can't bring myself to shop here much. If you look around you might be able to find some decent sales though. I do enjoy the meat / produce / bakery section at this store. I just wish prices weren't so high here.

This store is smaller than I'm used to. Moving from St Louis the stores there are quite a bit larger. But, this store is very clean and organized. Also, the shelves were stocked for the most part. I got numerous items on clearance that was near the expiration date that were great deals. I would recommend shopping here. Although, Walmart in general has better prices.

10/4/23 The only reason I go here is that they carry things that Walmart doesn't. For the most part their prices are higher I bought a Honeysuckle turkey for 98 cents a pound at Walmart the same turkey wad 2.48 at Schnucks.Update....4/22/23Tried the chicken again to see if it was any better and it was not. Tasteless and dry.They didn't do much in the way of changing the way the store was layed out when it was Fricks. I wasn't impressed with the fried chicken from the deli counter or the sides we purchased to go with it. But as far as a grocery store for our small town it still works fine.

Green beans in produce depth. Was covered with mold. Lots of out of stocks on regular shelf items and hot item on add, jacks pizzas 3/$9.00 they were completely out of. Don't think it's being managed as good as any other schnucks I've been to. I managed grocery stores for over 30 yrs and it needs work. Was better when it was Fricks.

The chicken was cold Fry's were cold no flavor and the okey was greasy no ranch for duping spent 30 dollars wesent worth eating . worse than hospital food it sucks

Beautiful store. A couple of old barns was being torn down locally and that wood was used inside the store. Really nice touch! Of course you get great service here at the store also.

I guess it's ok, I miss Frick's. I've been there 4 times since the change. I have gone straight to the dellie to hopefully purchase Chicken Livers, only to be disappointed. I LOVED the Frick's Chicken livers. But I've been told "they aren't going to carry them anymore" or I get told "we're out right now".Why wouldn't you carry one of the best selling items anymore or order more to keep up with the demand of them? Come on, it's rather disappointing to drive the distance and come up empty.I wish they would get it together and hopefully make a lot of customers happy.

They have a nice fresh selection of produce and meat. The deli has local favorite hot foods. I easily found everything I needed... and then some.

Basically your old Frick's with inventory that's like three times the price. Not half the selection of the one in Washington, and the produce looks like it's about to go bad in 2 days at best. I thought maybe I was being too rough on them, so I went back more than once. Didn't purchase anything, just wanted to see if I happened to catch them on an off day or something. Not the case. Garbage goods at premium prices.

Nice store, clean and wide aisles just like when it was before. The flower prices have gone up considerably. Bakery goods are less expensive than their processed counterparts. Meat sales are good when from the butcher, but I have seen better meat sales on processed meats at Aldi. Check out lines are impressively short. 100% will go here instead of Walmart, I end up saving money by avoiding Walmarts impeccable sales tactics.

I was concerned at first when a big box company took over this mom & pop that has been part of the community for decades. Looks like everything is still the same but the name and it has the best darn deli around.

I like Schnucks but I miss Frickes. They had more of a selection in the deli meats and cheese. Schnucks doesn't even have cheddar cheese in the deli.

Selection was fine. Staff all act like they are afraid to talk to you because you might make them smile. Now I know what the others have told me was true. What did you do to all the friendly faces we use to see.
