I gave this store 5 stars for one very good reason. This Dollar General location has a cashier who shows what customer service should always be about. Her names Abah, (hope I spelled that correctly), and she's everything that any manager should be proud of. Abah's helpful, cheerful, polite, and is a excellent communicator. Everything, you hope for with a cashier. Not only does she always have a cheerful greeting, but also sales you may have missed, and quick with a money saving recommendation. I shop here often, and would highly recommend shopping here, because of this awesome cashier.

I really like shopping at Dollar general. I really feel sorry for the people that work there though. They don't have enough help. Like everyone else right now. I really wish their Wi-Fi worked better as the internet's very hard to get there. Also. The shelf check outs do not allow paper coupons which is really ridiculous. And some won't even allow paper coupons at all. I gave the good score solely for the people that work at Dollar general.

Been coming here for years, almost daily depending on the time of year. Been told one too many times that they can't break a 100$ bill. I'll take the money else where from now on, that's ridiculous.

The only appeal to this store is convenience. Prices are high and quantities are small in comparison to other stores on a large number of items. The last time I went in they only had a self checkout lane which would be fine, convenient. The $7 item I tried to purchase (socks) had to have a managers override to continue to check outThe employees must have the patience of Job to deal with this corporate nonsense. They are all very nice, a LOT nicer than I would be if I worked there. What is the point of a self checkout when you need a manager to come to the point of sale every time someone tries to purchase anything over two bucks?

About 3/4 months ago I would have given 5 stars every time I made a visit to this facility. They had the best staff then. Always greeted and talked to customers and I really liked going there! The place was clean and organized. Most importantly it was stocked!!!!! I could always find what I needed and then some. Not anymore!!! I don’t know what it is about Dollar General, but what is up with the carts of merchandise in all the isles?!!! Drives me nuts. Right now, I can’t find anything, stuff on the floor and mixed together randomly on shelves, just BAD. No one is walking out with more than a bag of stuff because there’s nothing on the shelves. Who ever you guys had working there a few months back..... get em back. This place sucks right now.

The guy who helped me was do nice. Always have a good experience. Especially liked this lady named Penny. She was so helpful and very kind. I was having a hard day and she made me feel less stressed and not so agitated. She is the nicest anyone has been to me in a long time. I believe she works at Cedar Hill Dollar General.

Dollar General's have really upped their game. They have so much cute yet practical items for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms at really reasonable prices. Store is pretty much always in disarray, but that's all Dollar General's!!

Love that I can walk freely into this store. The staff is always chipper and friendly as well! You have earned more of my business by not being nazis and shoving masks down my throat! I CAN BREATH in your store! Thank you for being American!

I'm so glad DG, is back in Union! Fast, convenient, decent products and prices! No more self check-outs and mile hikes for a few items. I hate the huge "big box" store at the other end of town. Friendly helpful staff as well.

It's a good store but it's always a mess, hard to navigate isles. Customers don't care about making mess because mess is already there. Employees have always been polite. Rate based on just employees would be 4 stars.

The attendant/cashier was very very helpful She did a very nice arrangement of balloons For my daughter's 21st birthday.Another reason why I like this store is that it's always organized and never looks like a cluster or a bull ran through

Shelves are rarely stocked and lots of disorganization, about a week ago, they were closed @ 7pm, lack of staffing. I've called corporate about the trash on the floor, stock in carts, not on shelves, and the lack of interest by management, it didnt ever improve until just recently, (new manager) but within about a month it was the same. High turnover rate. Its a new store too. Sad!

Love the variety. Employees very friendly. One draw back is this store always has boxes and boxes of shipment in the aisles. Makes it hard to shop. The boxes are usually blocking the shelves.

There was only ONE positive about this store, the cashier I most recently dealt with was AMAZING.On the other hand, this store is a WRECK. I've been here several times, per my mom and when I go to pick her things up, several of the same catagoried items are in MULTIPLE isles. The stock is ALL over the floor and taking up many of the isles which are too small and stuffed full. Not to mention, the shelves are so ransacked.

Staff would not take valid manufacturer coupon on a product that they carry that was not excluded by the coupon. When they couldn't figure a way to be exclude it because of the coupon they then said that they're $1 aisle had posted signage saying you couldn't use coupons. Walked back to the aisle no sign is there. "Someone must have torn it down yesterday" according to staff. Will not be returning to this location ever, suggest you do not give them your business.

This particular Dollar General is never stocked. All the inventory is always in boxes,and they arealways out of what I go there for. If you do happen to get lucky and get an item you want, you have to wait or search for a person to check you out. Very inconvenient store.

Is Dollar General the stores are all a mess! Unfortunately that's the way the company wants it that way you have to search to find what you're after hopefully find something you didn't know they had. If it wasn't for my soda I wouldn't even go into the place!

This is by far the worst managed DG I have ever shopped. It is only after multiple dissatisfied regular visits for the last month that I decided I will be shopping the DG in the next town from here on out.

Food was good and the servings were generous, and it was the only non-fast food breakfast place open on a Monday so that was appreciated!
