Went on Sunday Feb 11th and was looking at refrigerators. They had one we would have bought but the person that was "helping" us could not look up what colors were available and told us that the manager would have to do that and that they were off today. So we left and will buy one somewhere else. When I asked them for a card for the manager so I could contact them, it seemed to confuse them even further. Not sure why they are open on a Sunday if you can't buy things?

Great local hometown hardware store and its really close to my home. The cashier greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in the door and showed me where to look for the Christmas light fuses I needed.

Buyer Beware! If you’re a contractor or a DIYer. Make sure you know this Ace Hardware’s return policy toward power tools, tools, and other types of equipment. The return policy: No Returns, exchanges of exact item only if the item is defective.You cannot return a tool that you’ve bought, even if unopened. If you buy a tool and find out that tool is poor quality, defective or has known issues you are going to be stuck with it as the return policy according to the older lady there, is strict.I will not be shopping at this ACE again. The only good thing about them is they offer Speed Queen washers. However, whenever I go to buy a washer/dryer I’ll be hesitant to purchase from here because of their return policies which aren’t clearly mentioned or shown in store. Their receipts just say “90 day return policy.” Which is false advertisement.I will be filing a BBB complaint & corporate complaint as nearly any other hardware store, big box or mom and pop. Would take returns of power tools.If I were you, make the trip out to the big blue or big orange stores & save yourself the hassle of dealing with their return policy.Normally I like to shop local, but I will no longer shop at this ACE.

I needed some keys made. I had been to another place and the keys they made for me did not work. The young man that waited on me was very pleasant and did an excellent job. All four keys worked.

This is a 1 star review for experience with paint department on 4/15/23. Almost an hour to get samples, which they "couldn't do" in the color/sheen we wanted.. so ended up buying 2 quarts to test 2 colors, didn't like either, wouldn't return either container..doesn't do returns on mixed paint. Was only a couple brush strokes from each container missing. $45 down the drain and a trip to Lowes after all.Then start selling samples.... Lowe's takes mixed paint back. Just saying

They not only had the only version of the griddle in STL, but they have excellent service. They walked me through setup, seasoning, recipe pointers, and even loaded it into my car. Top 10 customer service experience of all time.

Cottons ace hardware is a great place to shop. The employees are soo friendly and helpful. If you can't find what you want they will help you find it. Store is soo clean and neat. Come on folks give ace a try in union I think you will be surprised

Very helpful and I have never not been able to find what I need. You get the feeling that you're in an old time neighborhood hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable. If you stumble through an explanation of the problem you are trying to solve they translate it into Hardware store language so you get what you need. Once I needed a part for an old fashioned doorknob, they didn't have it but sent me to a company online that did.

Ace has what others don't. They Carrie a large selection of tools and supplies. And they have zoom spout oil. A must have for the service and repair guys. Stop in and pick up the tools and supplies you need. Friendly staff and super clean!
