I have to start by saying we LOVE Lucky Puppy normally and have been using them for years for boarding as well as grooming. My boyfriend and his family have used them a while, and I’ve been using them for 2 years since i’ve lived in Lincoln County. Everyone is friendly and knows the dogs by name.We used them for boarding from 6/14-6/18 and i picked them up 6/19. They would be boarded 5 nights, so I sent them with 6 days worth of food each (just in case).When I picked them up today, our pit bull had 3+ days worth of food that they returned to me. When i called to ask about this (i didn’t notice the returned food until i was home) they said they accidentally fed out pit some of our other dog’s food for 2 days. This still makes no sense because our other dog came home with 1 day worth of food which makes sense. Even if they messed up 2 days of feeding, our pit should not have come home with more than half of the food i sent her with.We have always trusted Lucky Puppy to take good care of our dogs, and I can honestly say that I no longer have good faith and will not return our dogs to them for boarding services again.I’m sure this is a one off because like i said before they are normally great and everyone loves them, but this isn’t the kind of error that gets repeat business and a 2nd chance.

Lucky puppy is awesome! They go beyond the call of duty! I had over slept! Lucky puppy call me to see if Snoopy was coming in! I had waited 3 months for an appointment! Snoopy was so hairy! He couldn’t see because of all those curls! ! Thank god they called me! Snoopy looks fantastic!

I'm embarrassed by how crazy my pups hair got. I brought her somewhere else but she was too stressed to be bathed and i had to go pick her up. I brought her into Lucky Puppy for a deshed & bath thinking I honestly might have to bring her twice (my fault not theirs)!! They did such an amazing job at an affordable price in one go. I cannot recommend enough! Kind and easy to schedule/get into. My pup still smells awesome after running around our property getting wet and air drying a week after her bath.

My husband and his family have been taking their Aussies here for a few years now, since they moved to MO. I called asking if there was any possibility that my 15yo Aussie female could be seen as she was looking pretty rough (bad pet parenting on out part since the last few months have been hectic). I was not expecting to actually get her in same day but I figured I would try since I took a day off. The wonderful woman that took care of my kiddo knew her and all her siblings at the in-laws. She got me in as a drop off and called when she was done. I was expecting an up charge since she was looking ratty but the price was incredible. Shiloh is very happy and is prancing around the house showing the boys her new look. Thank you so much! Now I know why the in-laws highly recommend this place. Shiloh is usually a hellion everywhere else despite her old age but she seems to really enjoy her time here. Just wish I knew the magic secret to get her to let me brush her lol

We take both of our dogs here. One is a husky and the other is a large mix breed and we won’t be going anywhere else! They do an amazing job! The staff is so nice and caring and our dogs literally cry of excitement when we pull in the parking lot!

They were great we normally go to Nudles on the growl but they have been close the last 2 attempts. Lucky Puppy did a great job on our 3 Pugs trimming there nails and cheaper too. We will frequently visit here more often! Great job and service!

They did a great job grooming and nail trims for our 2 medium sized dogs. Only down side was one of them was still damp when we picked up. I really hope the deshedding treatment they did works. We plan on trying it for a few months too see.

First time customer. Lucky Puppy was recommended by two people to me. Staff was very friendly. GREAT PRICES for the services - bath, trim nails and shedX.I watched my dog's reactions when I picked her up and she seemed just fine. She has a tendency to be skiddish/wary around people that talk to her harshly. So I could tell she was fine with the staff.I drive from O'Fallon to use their services. Would highly recommend!

I took my cat to be Groomed. She have a lot of hair and it started to Mat and she had those stickybooms all over her .. Lucky Puppy usually do a good job but for some reason it was like they did even do anything. I have to take her to another groomer to get her cleaned up. There was patches and stickybooms still on her after I picked her up. Unbelievable

When i first starting going, they seemed OK. My dog hated going, but that's understandable. As I went a few more times:- My dog was becoming terrified of the place.- They didn't give me back my leash one time.- They buzzed her hair twice when i asked for only a trim.- I don't think they cut her nails every time - even though they charge me every time.I stopped going there - I don't trust them. You must be careful with your pets!
