Awesome, kind people who helped us get our dog back when she was picked up by a neighbor for a week! I work in vet med and I know it can be super super hectic. I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to scan her for a microchip and calling us. Beautiful facility and really nice staff.

Dandy my mom's Boston terrier loved the Staff as they were kind to him in return Dandy had a cyst removed from his side and he's doing great and I'd love the Christmas picture they took of him in front of their Christmas tree thank you for taking good care of Dandy Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Vets are very knowledgeable and my cat recovered from his UTI upon antibiotic care. However, I was rubbed the wrong way when both visits I was charged for "physical examination" of my cat when they never once touched him. They seemed hesitant to even get close to him both times. If you go here, stay aware of what they're charging you.

In July 2017 we paid for board for our dog and cat while our family was on vacation. They were left with the clear instructions that my cat was to be fed 2 cans of wet food per day and that he needs brushing. When we picked our animals up my cat was so skinny you could feel his ribs, his fur was matted, and he smelled like his own urine. (This is a very clean cat who has never had accidents.) They gave us back half the cans we originally sent him with and we found out they had only been feeding him one per day. They quite literally admitted to starving my cat who they knew had health issues. He's been seeing a new vet since I've moved and has since been doing so much better.

They fit me in very quickly for an emergency surgery to remove a fish hook from my cat's paw. Everyone was so friendly and efficient......UPDATE: Since this incident with the fish hook, I've had four other emergency situations with my pets and Animal Medical fit me in right away every time, even though my pets visit a different vet office for vaccinations. Vet techs and admin staff are always friendly...in fact I think one fell in love with my dog. And when I brought in a stray cat I intended to adopt because he seemed sick, they tended to him right away to try to save his life. When he inevitably passed they were very gracious and caring in dealing with my emotions over it all. Great vet office. Highly recommend.

My pooch had his teeth cleaned and shots made up-to-date. Staff is awesome, check in and out was a breeze. The veterinarian explained everything clearly, was caring to ask all important questions before taking him in for the day, and was very upfront of cost and it's management. The facility and waiting room was clean at opening, so no fur or smells that make my pooch noisy. I would recommend to friends, neighbors, and family.

I took my cats, Maui, and Ginger, for their annual check-up, and I was very impressed by the quality of service and care they provided. The staff was friendly and professional and greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived. Dr. Bloss was very knowledgeable, gentle, and patient. She examined them thoroughly, gave them the necessary vaccinations, and answered all my questions. Also, she gave me some tips on how to help a stray cat. She was very patient and attentive and was passionate about animals. Maui showed signs of stress and discomfort early in the visit, but Dr. Bloss was very calming and patient. I highly recommend AMC of Troy to anyone looking for great veterinarians. They are the best!

I have taken my dog to get groomed about three times. This last time was horrible . He came back with both eyes, blood red and on his neck there was a cut. They say it's because he was moving really .The doctor said if he's not better in 2 days bring him back. It's been 2 days and we took him back. Why were both of his eyes blood red like he had been choked down?

The reason for 2 stars is overall I got very discouraged, disheartened and disappointed after speaking with multiple vets here. I brought my cat here for a fracture of his growth plate. Although they got my cat in, in a timely manner right off the bat, every time his cast would slip and have to be redone, the experience EVERY SINGLE VISIT was as unconfident as it could be. We were told due to this fracture, without paying for a $4000 surgery, my cat would never live a normal life/would always have problems with his leg. My gut told me to seek care elsewhere, so we did - after seeking care at the new vet, he is healing MIRACULOUSLY, his cast is staying on, he overall seems happier. His fracture is healing all on it's own with cage confinement and a cast. Very let down that we put out as much money as we did here, to not really get anywhere. I almost felt judged for not paying the $4000 for this surgery.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT! My cat, Norah, had a standard dental cleaning done today where they nicked her trachea when inserting the tube and either didn't realize or pretended they didn't realize until I saw her and told them something was wrong and she was incredibly puffy. The technician literally acted confused and said that she didn't notice she looked any different... she was blown up like a balloon. The vet came in, felt her, rushed her to the back, did an x-ray, gave her a shot, and then sent her home dazed, unable to walk, and literally full of air from subcutaneous tracheal emphysema. I called around because it felt incredibly wrong and sure enough three different veterinary offices were appalled that they would send her home like that and the Animal Emergency Clinic in O'Fallon wanted to see her right away. After a visit there she is headed to Veterinary Special Services on Manchester because the vet at O'Fallon isn't sure it is going to heal on it's own and if an emergency surgery was needed they would not have the proper equipment. She will be spending the night at Veterinary Special Services on Manchester. This office better hope that she makes it through this just fine or we will be taking legal action!

They were very kind and concerned and they loved my little kitty so I can't complain, I can't really compare prices from one place to another and this seems to be the same thing every time I go to a vet they run a barrage of test and it always comes back inconclusive and then they just give me antibiotics. Well I guess in their defense my cat does not have herpes.

Took my dog in for allergy concern of eyes puffy and red, was recommended to get allergy shot (injectionin his neck) , antibiotics and test for thyroid cancer(blood drawn from neck). Total was just under $670, next day had a large lump on right his neck (lymphnodes) at location of previous shot in neck. Weird to have a allergy concern worse now than before right? Redness & irritated eye decreased but still have discharge. Being concerned mainly with the lump not going away the following day I called and asked for a follow-up visit. Apon 2nd visit was recommended to check for another cancer (another needle in right side of neck) and was charged another office visit Totaling in additional $290, after coming home after the visit dog now has 2 lumps in same location of the new "poked" location. Clearly area is either been affected by the injection it self or the contents of the injection from the "allergy shot" caused a reaction. After realizing I'd get no kind of acceptance of responsibility I decided to not return to this facility. Highly recommend emergency animal hospital in O'Fallon, cost may be little more but will get people who care about your pet as well as free "return visit" if a concern is the same as previous service or related. I rely feel this place just throws meds at you and hopes it works, when it doesn't they recommend coming in for another paid vist to reccomend more costly tests and more medications before the test results even return. Im very disappointed in the service I received and im still upset with another "office visit charge" after the first diagnosis only made conditions worsen. Tried to contact doctor Kevin several times very difficult person to call an try to speak with. Mabe this review can help someone make a well educated decision on who they would like to deal with an trust with your pets.

Just wanted to Thank this office staff for all they did for myself and my Best Buddy Brew. I had a medical emergency and they were quick to get him in. They were very supportive and kind. They provided amazing service, provided all the information I needed in order to make the most humane decision for Brew. Unfortunately my dog was too sick for treatment and it was time for him to cross the bridge- a very hard decision to make, but the right one. They were so respectful, kind and showed so much compassion for us and what we were going through. This meant the world to me in a very devastating time. I can honestly say I watched my dog peacefully leave this world with the assistance of these remarkable people. I will recommend this office to all friends and family. If you are looking for compassion and good quality care- this is the place. Thank you to all the staff and the Dr. for being so kind and understanding during such a hard time.
