We've been taking our dogs to Happy Dog Ranch & Resort for years and Mica and her team are, hands down, the best in the business!! They love our babies as their own and we're so grateful to have a place we know we can trust to care for our dogs while we're away. I've spent time with them and see how they interact with the dogs. They're so loving and caring! Exactly what you hope for when your most precious friends can't be with you. Our dogs RUN for Mica when they see her, like we're chopped liver. I've boarded my GSP Chief at Happy Dog Ranch & Resort many times over the last 18 months and my boy just loves it! Mica and her team go above and beyond to make sure he's active and comfortable while he's in residence! For boarding and daycare services I don't think there's any place better. You can see how Mica interacts with all the dogs in her care how much she loves these dogs and works hard for their wellbeing.

I’ve boarded my dog with Happy Dog Ranch three times and every time has been a great experience. You can tell Mica truly loves these dogs and treats them like her own while there. I love that my dog gets to have tons of yard time with other friends. Mica also sends updates with photos which I loved. Would highly recommend!!

Friendly but the room they had my dog in was like a closet. She didn’t feel comfortable there and was deemed a threat because she was barking letting them know she was unhappy. My dog has never been an issue anywhere with anyone else, so they seemed a but unfit to handle large breeds. Thankfully they were able to arrange another kennel in Kansas City to come and get her while I was out of town, after they suggested drugging her. Thank you for making alternative arrangements for me, but obviously not a great fit for my dog.

I am so happy I found Happy Dog when my now 140lb dog was a 6 months old puppy! Mica carefully places each dog in one of their multiple outside yard spaces based on their individual needs and how their personalities match up with the other dogs in that yard. Mica takes the time to get to know each dog and understands the breed characteristics of every dog she has there, which makes me so much more comfortable leaving my 140lb puppy with her. My dog LOVES being out at Happy Dog and I love that I can go to work knowing that he isn't just laying around the house by himself while I'm gone. I wouldn't trust anyone else with him while I'm out of town and it has brought so much peace of mind when I travel to have Happy Dog taking care of him when I'm not able to. I recommend Happy Dog to anyone and everyone I know who is looking for a place for their dog because we love it so much!

My pups love going to Happy Dog Ranch! They can tell when we're getting close and get super excited. Mika and team are super knowledgeable and always make sure my babies are taken care of when I'm out of town! Love seeing pics of my pups playing when I'm away!!

We take both of our dogs there and it has honestly been a huge blessing for our family! We trust they are cared for while they are away from us and get plenty of outside time too!Regular daycare usage throughout the week days all year long and multiple weekend stays as well.

I seriously would not send my dogs anywhere but here. The Ekis family treats every dog like their own. My two goldens love being there so much that sometimes it’s a battle to get them home!! I couldn’t do it without them. They excel at everything, from daycare to boarding. She makes sure my large dogs are with compatible dogs. It puts my mind at ease knowing she’s certified too. If I could give 10 stars I would. Having someone you trust with your fur babies is priceless!!

Happy Dog Ranch has become a second home for our dog Arya! Anytime we tell Arya we are taking her there she gets so excited and runs to the car. I can’t thank Mica and her team enough for the care they give our dog :)

We have been boarding our dog at Happy Dog since 2019. We have never had a single issue. Their prices are reasonable, I always know Enzo is getting cared for, he always comes home so tired from playing with the other dogs. We have had issues with other boarding places not knowing enough about Enzo’s breed/demeanor. This is not true at all for Mika or Jason. Love the convenience of their website for booking and paying and love that they are always reachable via text or call for any concerns. They also send pictures and updates while you are away from your pup. Highly recommend!!!

Was recommended by a colleague and I can't say enough great things! My pup had a long weekend stay and had a blast! The owners are great with pups and can accommodated just about any pooch. My furry guy was all smiles and is still resting up 😂

They called today to tell me that my sweet girl passed away while in their care. She was one of three dogs found dead this morning! I can't put into words my heartache. Don't make the mistake that I did and leave your dog here.

I've used them a few times now and my dogs absolutely love it when I tell them they're going to the farm! The owner is very kind and sends update pictures and videos to let you know how much your pet is enjoying themselves. I'll never take my dogs anywhere else!

Jason & Diana Ekis are the best dog sitters!! Our 3 dogs small to large absolutely loved the ranch! They swam in the pool ran and had so much fun! Fabulous place to board your dog ! Mica kept us informed via text, pictures, and videos of how our "Baby" was doing for the 17 days we were gone overseas! We are planning more trips and we know that this is where we will board our dog! They do an excellent job of taking care of your dog!

Brought my dog for a meet and greet today, I have to say I am very excited to working with them soon. They have a wonderful, large, fenced in play area outside and plenty of inside space as well. Nearly every where is pet friendly and always pet safe. You can see all the dogs are well care for, loved and happy. It’s also very clear they have a lot of experience and enjoy caring for your pet. Would definitely recommend.
