Listed as one of the Walmarts where you can stay overnight. Pulled up just around midnight with a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. Had to get them to bed. We got all in the trailer. Just settled down to sleep when somebody came and told my husband, who was still outside the trailer, that we couldn't be there. He explained that the kids were already out of car seats and in bed and they said sorry you have to go find somewhere else. Needless to say we were pretty upset. Not cool.

I have MS and can not go into store to shop. I always use curbside pick up. I am a Walmart member and love shopping online. The associate that picks my order is very good with watching the dating and condition of products . Also enjoy talking with the associate that delivers my order. Great service.

Smallest selection of items I've ever seen at any Walmart. Looked for sugar free jello and found one. Strawberry. That's the one they pick? Why not lemon? How about orange? Cherry is a favorite among many. Couldn't find any of em besides strawberry. SadGood thing Harps is just about next door.They do carry foam insulation. I guess there's that.

The Ladies that work in the morning at the service desk and self check out are the sweetest and kind and so helpful . Thayre may have a small store but these ladies make it so pleasant to shop .Thank you morning shift ladies ...

They didn't have what I needed.l eventhough it said they did online. A real bummer after a 2 hr drive. But the employees were nice and double checked anyways.

Thayer is a small town, so the Walmart in Thayer is the 2nd smallest in the country. They might be nice, but they don't have much to select from. So if your looking for groceries and options, go to West Plains to get your groceries...and that's all I have to say about that.

Prices are mostly lower than average but that's not where they fail. My personal problem with Walmart is the way they do business. For example when you go to check out you have an employee standing nearby watching the self checkout registers which is fine. You scan all your purchases while being under a close eye of an employee sometimes 2 and by all means use as many as you want. Here's my problem after all the process of checking yourself out, bagging your own purchases, and placing them in your cart all the while under close supervision there's another employee sometimes 2 standing in the entrance/exit asking for your receipt to once again confirm your purchases looking through your bags. My opinion is if you want me to do you're job by checking my own purchases as well as bagging them after being under a close eye as well as being under surveillance why should you have the right to stop me on my way out to inspect the purchases you've already watched me ring up, bag, and pay for. I feel that at that point the items in my cart are mine and I do not give you authority to touch, inspect, or confirm my purchased items. If you feel the need to act as if everyone is dishonest or a thief then take out the self checkout registers and do your damn job.

The employee is here were helpful considerate kind and knowledgeable much better than employees typically found at Walmart especially in larger communities. My experience with Walmart's in larger communities tend to have largely obnoxious floor employees that rather play games than work.

The smallest Walmart I've ever walked into in my life they had absolutely nothing for camping and for float trip that wasn't just generic everyday stuff. When you come from out of state you want to Walmart that's got enough supplies ,to supply you on the trip. so therefore you don't weigh your car down traveling in those mountainous areas and wasting gas, but no this Walmart was small enough to put in my pocket the aisles were so close you could not get too buggies down it and the staff was not friendly at all on the exception of one lady that tried to help me but didn't know exactly where anything was. My suggestion is if you're in this area you better have everything you need because the place is geared for rafting but the stores are not come supplied

Not enough sales ppl on the sales floor. I usually have to go to another dept.maybe find someone. Or go to service desk to have someone paged.Oh and don't get me started on the service desk. I ALWAYS feel sorry 😔 for the gal there. There's Always just one. Long lines. Associates in and around. And no one ever steps up to help. Even when there's a line I find that Horrible. Ppl get angry but 1 person can do so much.. if they see.jump in and help her out.Where's the Managers??So yup many things that need attention.Don't walk by,behind.service desk.and Not do a damn thing...Think about it!!!!!

Best Wal-Mart I've ever shopped at by far. Staff is always friendly and helpful. May be small, but they always have what I need. Bathrooms are generally the cleanest in town. No self checkouts at this location, which is fine since I won't go through a self checkout line. Associates are always helpful.It's in the process of being remodeled.**edit: Since the remodel, I've subtracted 2 stars. It's bad enough that items are harder to find since everything was switched around, but corporate had to make things worse by adding 3 self checkouts and removing 4 cashiers. Now not only is the store more crowded, but checkout is 10x more congested.The new bathrooms are nice and shiny.The employees are still great.

What I like more than the small, hometown feel of this particular store is the superb customer service that you receive when doing business here! Sure, there isn't a competitor for a considerable amount of miles around, but you won't find the deals that this Walmart offers nor will you be able to find the friendly customer service associates that make this one special! It's the people here that make the difference!!!

It's another Walmart. Usually decent prices on things you can usually find.HOWEVER, as soon as you know where to find what you want they move everything within the store.It would get a higher rating if it were in a wet county.
