Small town feeling with big town amenities. We were driving through on our trip to see the eclipse. We stocked up our supplies for camp. The cashier was the sweetest. The store was very clean and had plenty of options. They even have small carts for the kids

I think they have outgrown their britches! Used to be a great place to shop for groceries. They are no longer just a local ,employee owned company. They are a very large corporate conglomerate that has monopolized the markets of local communities and are outrageous prices unless you catch sales prices. Yes, locals work there, just like Walmart. But Walmart is way cheaper on most items. There has been a local loyalty of shoppers, but the numbers are dropping. Seeing more complaints on Facebook all the time.

The store is always clean , line's are short. Staff is friendly and helpful when needed. Prices are a bit high but they're located in a very small town. The cost of gas to get to a larger grocery store would defeat the purpose. Overall I like this establishment.

Store was clean and staff was friendly. Use caution in produce, however, as there was little available in edible state and what was available was extremely high in price. I upgraded the star a bit on here because the next two grocery stores had much the same sorry state happening in produce so I suspect there may have been a distribution issue, HOWEVER, choosing to offer moldy vegetables at above market price is a sad move on all of these grocers parts.

Very nice grocery store. Lots of different choices. Very polite & helpful employees. Great tasting grapefruits don't even need sugar not as acidic as other ones Handicap parking, entrance & motorized wheelchairs available. Definitely worth stopping

Almost everyone is friendly, no one has ever asked me if I need assistance though... I find half of what I need here... sometimes...

This store is very clean. People are nice. However, that being said, I remember when Town and Country was open. I always shopped there because the prices were way cheaper. Harp's is high priced on everything. Nothing special there. Come on people, you know it's high priced. My money goes twice as far at Aldi's in West Plains Missouri.

Normally I like harps but lately their quality has been severely lacking, they had a bowl of fruit that was packaged the 10th and expired the 15 it is now the 20th sooooo gross, somenof their staff was quite rude this morning when asking where something was. Very disappointing

First let me say thank you to our good Lord above. Because Harp's is what saved our trip. I can't say enough about Harps Food it was fresh very clean very friendly atmosphere some of the softest bread I've ever eaten my life came from that store. They should have slapped Walmart on the store because it was better than the Walmart in that area good Lord it was a great place

A vast array of everything you need in a grocery store. The openness when you walk into the building is great but as you move through the store it seems to get smaller and claustrophobic. Great customer service and cashiers are nice.

Super nice since the remodel.I've taken away 1 star from my review because the hot food from deli is always overcooked and the store added liquor and beer. The bakery tho is awesome. They go over and beyond to help you envision the design you want for your cake. ❤️

Love the feeling of being welcome. The elelectric shopping carts make shopping easy. The other store refuses to get them. And I don't feel that they want older or disabled shoppers in that store. The higher prices are worth it for the convenience and ease of shopping at Harps🙂

EXHORBITANT PRICING.....this is our hometown store? are they looking out of us? No brainer here folks.head of cauliflower was 7.99, blueberry pie filling 3.98 for the cheap brand. The bright pink/red labels mimic a sale price but look close, it's just a bait, it regular pricing. My review won't help lower prices but at least a few more people now know.

The prices have become insane because they think they are a monopoly. Aldi's in west plains is 30% cheaper.

Rude staff.. And they sell rotten fruit and old produce which I purchased several times so it wasn't a fluke.Shame on you Harps for that and for taking advantage of people with the high prices.

The meat selection is minimal at best. I understand it's a small store but there's many carnivores.. And I wasn't impressed with the customer service desk: the lady obviously didn't want to get up to help me. I love the deli and the gals over there are wonderful, cheerful and seemingly happy to wait on you.

SO this is their dream plan come true.Buy out the only competition in town and then shut it down. With a monopoly as the only grocery in town, raise the prices to the point that people suffer but because their is no other local choice they have to buy anyway.Don't belive me? Here are just 2 example of the hundreds I could give.Green Onions.West plains Walmart. $1.49 a bundle for organic. $.89 for regular bundles.HARPS THAYER: $3.99 last week. This week $2.79DOUBLE THE PRICE.Green Apples.Walmart $3.49 FOR A 3# BAGHARPS: Over $6 a poundDOUBLE THE PRICEI should keep going but just do you own research. This place is deliberately taking advantage of our community and they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. So there is your warning. stay away from the HARPS brand. A terrible company that does not deserve your business.
