This hotel is very convenient and the staff is very nice. Just know you’re getting a quick, clean, affordable, overnight stay with zero frills. Sometimes that’s exactly what you’re looking for.Check in was easy and I was on the freeway side. It’s noisy you but not terrible.The room is spacious and the bathroom good. There a microwave, fridge and lots of room. Water pressure and shower head are good….my pet peeve. Towels are a bit small and old but ok. Bed was comfy and the heater worked well.The upstairs I’m guessing is not used as it’s dark. Temping to go explore if I hadn’t driven 800 miles a day for the last week…Do not count on breakfast. The coffee was on but the only thing else are limited packaged danishes…. That’s it.I will say DO go to The Cheese Store that’s about a half mile down the road from here. The two cheeses I bought were fantastic and also very affordable!! See review for more

The motel is by no means perfect but it served the purpose, comfy big bed, ac running hot and cold water, working TV, didn't try the breakfast. Good for short stay, I only interacted with one staff and that was LEE, great guy very helpful, tell him big up from Jamaica I appreciated his assistance with a issueRooms: Good for the purpose, not perfect

For a budget room things were comfortable and clean. Made the reservation last min and accidently booked the wrong days 🤦‍♀️ Jason was very accommodating even tho it was almost midnight and was traveling with my pup and service dog.Altho pet friendly I was recommended to call ahead in future when bringing pups so they can be sure to have a designated pet room saved. Was just lucky that they weren't supper busy and had one avaliable.Noteworthy details: Pet friendly but call ahead so they can reserve a designated pet room for you.

👎👎👎👎👎I will never stay or recommend somebody to stay here.The manager of this property has no people skills, no managerial skills and should not be managing. Rude pompous, and obviously doesn't know what's going on with his own business. Or what a guest would want in a motel room in order to feel comfortable. And want to come back to stay again or to tell their friends about it.

Where do I even begin? The only bright spot at this establishment was the staff. They were friendly. When I asked for extra towels they were delivered right away. I was charged $20 for my dog...my little 2 pound tea cup Yorkie. Standard pet fee...I get it...you know in case he tears up something. The room was TERRIBLE. The linens were stained, the carpet felt gooey and turned my feet black so I washed my feet and slept in my shoes. The shower only had enough pressure if you took off the shower head. The mini fridge legit had something growing inside it. Oh and there were crumbs all over the floor proving that nobody vacuums. Please don't waste your money here. I was super exhausted when I arrived or I NEVER WOULD HAVE STAYED HERE!!! Also there are no decent restaurants in any close proximity.

To start off with, I will say, the only thing that saved this stay was the overnight guy. He was kind, understanding, and willing to make the necessary adjustments that were needed to fix the issues that occurred during my stay. This is also not my first time staying here, we had stayed last year for the State Fair as well, we had enjoyed it the first time and everything was clean. This time was a completely different story. My company paid for a whole week for us to stay there, when I arrived they said the card we used declined, even though my boss had told them to run it before we even started traveling that way and they said it went through. No biggy couldn't get ahold of our accounting department to see what was going on, so we decided to go ahead and pay for the first night, and we would take care of everything the next day. Figuring as we had stated multiple times we where here for the whole week that we could leave our stuff, boy were we wrong. They threw away all our stuff, including food we just purchased the night before($50-60 worth). Why? They said they had us as check outs. Which it shouldn't even be possible because not only did they charge the company card, but they also charged us for the whole week instead of 1 day. Although the extra charge was taken care of, they said they couldn't replace the food they tossed. Thankfully, my company compensated us for the incident. There was an incident in the parking lot that is now taken care of, but when we initially found out and tried to take care of said situation, they lied to me and said that no one had been around my vehicle. Thankfully the person came forward and that is all water under the bridge, but that was pure luck that I was contacted because they were of no help whatsoever. The lady got spicey over us getting upset because they were very rude about the whole thing, basically we were told that it didnt happen there. The original room we were in actually had water damage to the ceiling, it rained and the ceiling broke by the time we came back from working the fair, the bed soaked. We called front desk, the overnight guy was going to put us in the room next to us it wasn't clean so he decided to upgrade us completely. Which was great and made us feel like at least someone was trying to make this a nice stay. At some points the hallways smelt disgusting. Oh and I ended up finding out that they have a laundry room that they try to hide so people don't use it, it's also $2 a load for washer then $2 for dryer.(that is crazy for how small they are. I had to do 2 loads) the laundry room was dirty. The day shift people sit outside for half the day smoking and hanging out around the front door/matinance man's truck. Altogether, I would say I won't be coming back, my company will not use them again. The only thing that made it worth it, was again the overnight guy, he would hold a conversation with you, great you, tell ya good night/bye, and make sure that you are taken care of to the best of his ability. They no longer had snacks. Gah, the list just keeps growing as I'm typing. I think it's just safe to say, I don't recommend. Maybe if the management changes and they do remodeling, fix their parking lot/parking lot cameras. Until then, 2/10 recommend.

The halls smelled horrible. Luckily there was no masking toxic fragrance, but the carpet and walls need to be thoroughly cleaned. No hot water for tea. Only one cart to move luggage and it was ridiculous and not meant for luggage. The guy who checked us in was helpful. Pillows very lumpy. Overall unpleasant not worth more than $50 per night.

Room 107 was dirty with wallpaper peeling off the bathroom walls and dim lighting. The sink would not drain and the room smelled musty and of old cigarette smoke. Vending machine was out of order. On a humorous note, the sign at the front desk stated that marijuana smoking was not allowed in the room. 🤪. Had we not been driving for hours and it was late at night we would have gone further down the road or slept in our car.Noteworthy details: I don’t recommend this place

Almost missed this place due to no big Super8 sign lit up like usual, just a little super8 on the side of the hotel. Kinda dark, and we considered moving on. But we entered the darkened lobby, and a gentleman scurried out to help us behind a clear plastic window.We found the room surprisingly spacious and well maintained, with coffee ☕️. There was a moisturizing shampoo that was great. Slept well. Breakfast was a sweet roll.Overall not bad. I would suggest a big lit sign for the place though.

The female manager is very unfriendly. Also left my license there and she refuses to give it back. She also said she throws them away if they are left behind. Asked to talk to higher person in charge she says he can’t talk is out of country so requested that my info be taken down to have a call back she refused to take my info and then proceeded say she was too busy to talk to me.

BEWARE OF MOLD!!!Checked in at 130 am to get a few hours after a long drive. Guy at desk was asleep in back room, but came to desk reasonably fast, not a super friendly guy, but did what needed to be done to get paid (I blame bad owners). Checked me into a room that ended up not being cleaned yet.The second room (112) has, currently in July 2022, a large visible growing black mold in the room and bathroom.Checked into the third room from the one night stay that had no visible issues, however, this room was right above the black mold room! The guy didn't check us into a 4th room.Talked to the morning crew to help out, who were a lot more friendly than the nigh shift guy; both accounts of the morning crew called the husband and wife that owned the business and both said nothing can be done after they got off the phone. The owners don't seem to care about staff, or people staying.If you care about your health, spend the extra $20 and go elsewhere! Do not let people like this stay in business. Stayed about two years ago. i said i wouldnt come back. place was dirty. staff were far from being people i would want running my business. But was passing through and needed to rest. Wow!!!! not only did the place look nice and clean, it smelled clean. The couple at the desk were super friendly. They made me feel right at home. It was nice to see their smiling faces. I will gladly stay again.

Cheap and decent beds but DISGUSTING room! I lost my glasses and unfortunately looked on the ground for them. The floor was absolutely covered in dirt and trash all around the bed. Bathroom was dim, tub was filthy, toilet chipping, unidentifiable substances on the wall(hoping they were boogers but who knows next to the toilet), screaming refrigerator, trash in the nightstand, and foul smell coming from something we couldn’t identify. I’m fine with a cheap place to stay, but dear god it should be clean. I wanted to leave but we had already driven 30 hours straight from Washington state and needed sleep.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was odd though, not a busy hotel. Parking lot was empty nost of the time. The bed was comfortable.Drawbacks were the shower had low pressure, mostly due to calcium build up (put some white vinegar in a zip lock bag, rubber band it to the shower head and let it soak for about 10 minutes. Take off the bag and turn on the shower and it should clean it...just a tip). Also there was no door hang (do not disturb). Our second day we finally got one from the front desk. The hair dryer didn't work, either.

We have been in a fair share of budget hotels all over the US. I wasn't expecting too much from this place.Extremely well priced.Easy to get to.Better than expected remodel in the rooms.Awesome beds.CleanI was very worried about the cigarette smell in the hallway but the room wasn't too odorous. I am very sensitive to smells and it didn't kill me.

By the time we got to this super 8 we had been driving for nearly 19 hours and just needed a place to crash for a couple hours. The room was clean and not a bad price at all. The person working was very nice and helpful even at 2 am! We slept great and they even had coffee and individually wrapped muffins for us on the way out! Great place for the price!

I will definitely put this on my list of places to stay in Missouri; the staff was very helpful and friendly, I give them an A+ in customer service, also it is very reasonable priced and most important to me was the room was clean.Safety: They had cameras all around the outside of the hotel and with it being just me and my granddaughter I felt very safe.

Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable, hot water was hot. Towels were worn but fresh and clean. Updated water saving toilet and new refrigerator was quiet and ice cold. I'm super allergic to bed bugs and do a thorough check every time I stay at a hotel and there were no signs of them. Check in was easy. A good deal for what it is: a roadside hotel for somebody on a budget.

Stopped with son while traveling for a drive rest. Old, but very clean, surprisingly for a Super 8. Staff was friendly but slow, perhaps a new feller helping us. We would stop here again if needed.Rooms: Rooms are spacious and surprisingly clean. Beds were comfortable for a super 8. It was very quiet.Noteworthy details: Very clean and kept well for old hotel.

The room was great, large and clean with high ceilings and all the usual amenities. The atmosphere was very peaceful and quiet with no highway or road noise and no noisy guests.The issue I did have is that they kept bothering me and pushing me out the door before checkout time the next morning. I had a do not disturb sign and the housekeeper still knocked on the door around 10am and said "The front desk told her I had left." I told her I would be checking out on time at 11am. Then as I was getting my things together they called my phone to "Let me know checkout is in 10 minutes". Very irritating.I stay a lot of hotels (I am a Wyndham Diamond Rewards Member) and I've worked at hotels, and I know after around 9 or 10 am most guests have left and housekeeping is itching to get in there. But if I didn't come and bring you my key and check out then yall should assume I am still in the room and not bother me until checkout time. I paid good money for a room until 11am and I expect not to be bothered before checkout especially with the DND sign up and especially not twice. My days are busy enough and I expect my hotel time to be my quiet time and not have to deal with unnecessary interruptions.

It was good for the price. Due to the low availability or lack of options in/around Marshall, MO I stayed here. I was able to find a cheaper price online for the night vs. the best price the front desk could give me. He informed me they were such short staffed that housekeeping was all out sick/unable to work so him & the manager on duty were having to do all the housekeeping & said he was working double shifts on his day off. So half of the rooms were not cleaned & not available for customers which doesn’t help the shortage of available decent hotel rooms in this area. Overall the stay was fine, clean room & I’d say it had been updated in the past few years. One nice thing was that their ice maker worked/was available to use even with COVID-19 going on. Hopefully they can get more reliable staff. Good place to stay if you don’t want to pay over $100 per night in that area.

We rented a smoking room,not 3 minutes after checking out the owner card and said he would not rent to me again because there was a few ashes on the table. Plus if you book a hold online they charge your card right then and if it doesn't go through they cancel your room. I've never stayed at a place that charges you before you actually check in if you are just putting the room on hold and because of this I ended up having to pay $50 more than the online quoted price. Also hardly no amenities and their breakfast consisted of orange juice, coffee and a honey bun. Very disappointed.
