Absolutely amazing visit! Sheri talked with us, gave habitat advice and told us a lot about the place! She was wonderful! The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I took my animal loving son for his birthday and he had the best day ever! This is a wonderful place and you can tell they care for these animals like family! I highly recommend to anyone who loves animals! And it’s not overpriced if you’re wondering about cost. One of the most reasonably priced animal interaction parks we have been to, and we’ve been to a LOT!

Our family had an amazing time here! The experience we had was worth every penny. The staff was very knowledgeable and the young man who helped raise the lions and wolves was very friendly and gave a little teaching moment for us and our kids! All the animals seem very healthy and content in their surroundings. We got to feed alot of them too, which was really cool. We didn't do the 1 on 1 with the Dingos or Lemurs, but honestly we had enough fun with everything else. I can't say enough good things. If we're ever in the area again this will definitely be on our list to re-visit!!

There was no waiting to get in and there were very few visitors, but we went at the beginning of February. It was neat to visit. I enjoyed being close to the animals, the hands-on experiences, and seeing the workers interacting and playing with the wolves. We got to see them feed the ligers, and that was kind of cool. We tried the dingo and lemar encounters. I recommend visiting with the dingos for sure, not so much the lemars. If you want to touch them once while they eat a few pieces of cereal, then maybe I would try it, but if you are looking for a longer experience, I would maybe try something else. All of that said, I probably won't go back. There were a few issues that I noticed with the animals that just made it feel a little off to me. I wouldn't say that they were abused or neglected by any means. They had food, their living spaces were kept clean, and I saw the workers checking on them throughout our time there. A couple had open wounds, one being a porcupine, that I would almost bet money was caused by another porcupine, another animal had a sores on its legs. A couple of the goat were on the skinny side, but maybe that had to do with the time of year because they are most definitely fed. One thing that struck me as strange was the fenced-in area of barking dogs. They have a huge area of animal that you can touch and look at, and then they had dogs that are hidden behind a privacy fence that says employees only keep out.

WOW! This was my fiancé and I’s first time here and it was absolutely incredible. It was such a unique “zoo” experience and it was a slower day making it all the more special. We got to meet and speak to the owner and she was amazing and we got to hear wonderful stories about how she acquired the animals in the first place and took them from not so great situations and gave them a forever home. It is such a hidden gem and I would recommend anyone to go and visit!

First thing, do not waste your money on the lemur encounter! You give them 10 pieces of human baby food, and then that’s it.You sit there while they eat it out of the cup they give you and after 2 minutes it’s over with. The girl working the area will rush you out as well. I sat back down to let the lemurs come around me after standing and she starting opening the gate to let us out. We were not even in there 5 minutes. We were told by the lady we purchased the ticket from that it is a 30 minute encounter. We went and told the same lady working the front desk and her response was “sorry you feel that way” and “it just depends how the lemurs feel. We base the interaction off of them.”How can we be told 30 minute encounter and get a 5 minute encounter? There was no refund offered or anything of the sort. One of the lemurs, was apparently a “spicy” one. The girl kept telling us not to touch her or take the little treats away from her or she will bite you. She said don’t move around or she will bite you.Maybe there shouldn’t be a hostile lemur in there with people, that made the 5 minute experience so much fun, being told to watch out for that lemur.Other than that I love the park and this is my second time coming, due to loving it so much. There were quite a few animals that were alone, they seemed pretty lonely and bored. Just pacing. The sheep needs to be shaved, it has feces hanging under its stomach with thick hair.I love how clean they keep the park and the animals cages are clean and their water also. It’s very fun other than the lemur encounter. Which is a waste of money. $50 for two people to access the park and the lemurs “encounter”.

Loved this hidden gem in Missouri! We got to feed and pet most of the animals and that made it so much more awesome! Big variety of animals, close up and personal! Animals looked happy and healthy, well fed with lots of activities in their habitats. The zoo grounds were clean, well marked with sitting benches, hammocks and even a "flower bed" to sit and rest! Lots of side gardens for bees and butterflies made it a pretty setting! All animals had signs of information and history of the animals at each habitat! Lived our visit here! Will definitely revisit and recommend!

OK, so it was my first time visiting this place so I didn’t know what to expect however, when I got to the very front counter, I could tell that it was an extremely wonderful place. The people were amazing in so many ways, they were constantly watching out for a little ones, there and answer any questions that we may have they have a lot of knowledge on the animals at their exhibit and was more than happy to share it with each and every person there. I haven’t been at a place like that and so long to where they don’t only make you feel like a customer they make you feel like family it was a great experience for the family this weekend and I think everybody should try it!!! I want to thank you all as the wild animal adventures it was amazing and you all work extremely hard and I appreciate what you guys do

This was a fun family adventure especially for families that live animal encounters!Their prices are reasonable, I recommend getting the food bundle for 17.50 to feed all the animals it was enough for our whole family to feed the animals. My favorite part was the lemur adventure! It was amazing to get to hang out with and feed them. There is a nice play area for children and it's a good spot to have a picnic. All the staff were super friendly and cared a lot for the animals. They are very educated and enjoy educating others about the amazing animals they have there. We will definitely visit again!

There isn't much I could say that hasn't already been said, but here goes: these animals are very well cared for and the staff is amazing with animals and visitors alike. They are very informative, and it is such a friendly environment. Not to mention every enclosure has signage with various info such as the animal's breed, name, and instructions for visitors on what to do or what not to do.We watched a staff member play with the male lion like he was a dog or cat, and then the staff member gave my daughter a tuft of hair that came from the lion's mane. It was so cool! Plus there is such a wide variety of animals/species here that my family and I all had a hard time deciding which was our favorite. There are cool little areas throughout such as a kid's play area, hammocks, picnic tables etc. The gift shop had some small little snack bags like chips and goldfish. And dip 'n dots.10/10 would go here again and again. Lots of fun!

This place was so much fun! We got to feed some animals we would never have the opportunity to otherwise (porcupines, emus, etc) and it wasn't a bad price! The staff was very friendly, we played with dingo puppies, but didn't get to play with lemurs since we had a youngin' with us. We didn't spend as much as I would've liked to (we had a cranky kid). But I would highly recommend Wild Animal Adventure!I will definitely be back to experience again!!

My grandson, that is 13, loved it. He loved he was able to hold and pet the animals. He loved the Snakes, lemurs, and Dingo, the best. All the employees were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My grandson looked up all the animals that he was going to come in contact with so he would know what to expect and how to hold them safely. I would highly recommend visiing. Thank you. We will be back.Rhonda and Holt.

I LOVED IT! There were a lot of animals that you can feed and pet. My only thing is that it’s $4 and it does come with much food. Also, a good thing to think about is that some of the animals don’t like to come out when it’s cold. I wanted to play with lemurs 😞. Also, they’ve added a mini golf course and has plenty of tables for families to eat.

With all of the zoo's I have visited (in MI) this one is small but it has quite a bit of animals and a personal experience with the animals. You are fairly close to all the animals unlike most zoo's. There are a couple different things you can pay extra to do- sit in with lemurs (which my husband wanted so badly to do but the exhibit was closed today---another trip will be planned for that), petting dingoes- super affectionate animals, and feeding certain animals. The animals also seemed to be happy and well maintained. It was nice to see the gentleman who was working today have a good relationship with not only the dingoes but the wolves as well. You could tell the animals trusted him. It was such a treasured trip! We will be returning for sure!!

This is a real magical place that is nothing more than a place full of passionate people that want to share their love of animals with you. You can get so close and be so one on one with the animals there. Nothing like I’ve ever seen. So worth the stop on the way through town. If your in the area go support this business. We’re coming back for a birthday party package for sure. So very reasonable.

The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. What they did with empty space was amazing. The hammocks were such a intimate touch that brought to a well attended and well ran facility. It was brutally hot when we were there and all of the employees were attending the animals cooling them making sure they were comfortable. I'd heard rumors that the animals were mistreated and I'm going to tell you right now I am going to disprove that it was a wonderful experience the animals were awesome. We are from New York and I have seen some poorly run facilities with animals that were abused, this place is NOT one of them. It is a must-see if you are in the area. And even if you're not in the area it's worth the trip. I will definitely come back when we return to Missouri next year. Sincerely CherylBurris.

So much fun! Not expensive either. Lots of animals to see, and we even petted some. The Lemurs are so sweet, got to go inside their habitat, feed and play with them. The dingos also! Petting zoo is great too.

We had such an amazing time we visited twice this summer and gold our friends who then made a trip down to visit as well. You get to be so close with the animals and so many of the animals are so excited to see you they come up to you. There are options to buy food to feed the animals and so many different experiences. Oh and don't forget the hanging out with the Lemur experience, yes it cost extra but it is 100% worth it.

This place is a must see attraction. It doesn’t seem like much traveling down the highway at 70mph but you have to stop and visit. They have a good variety of all kinds of animals and the every single one of the staff that works there were extremely friendly and enthusiastic to answer any questions we had about anything and everything. The pricing was reasonable and the cost for the group feed is worth it. They separate the food for the animals in packets and label them for you as you wander about the property.I’ve been to a few petting zoos but I can say without a doubt that the animals at Wild Animals Adventures are very well taken care of. The most obvious sign is when you pet the animals you can pet. Their fur is soft and clean. I’ve never experienced that at any other petting zoo.Another great sign is that most of the animals were walking around, or playing, or exploring. A tell tale sign of depressed animal behavior is lethargy. Even the snakes were slithering about their cages! What made it crystal clear the staff cared about the animals is that they shut down the lemur cage for guests. Why? I was told because the lemurs needed a day off. You know what? Animals do need days off from being handled by humans and the staff are acutely aware of this. They care more about the animals than getting a few extra bucks. A zoo with integrity is a zoo that should be visited.I’ve left out a few other wonderful exhibits from this review because the joy of exploring it yourself is worth it. We will definitely be going back again.

Wonderful nook in the woods totally worth the adventure! It was awesome for the family to get to feed and interact with so many rare and endangered species that all looked in great shape and well cared for! The people who own it/run it we're so nice, accommodative and knowledgeable about the lives and care of so many animals and reptiles. Some of the best we've ever seen up close and personal. Very educationally designed and lots of fun games and things for everyone!

no wait for this place but it's super sketchy. the exhibits look like they were out together in a rushed manor. the animals are constantly getting moved around from exhibit to exhibit. large tree branches were falling onto/in the exhibits. and worst of the the animals looked miserably hot, and the only sense of cooling the get is a cheap box fan placed on the outside of their cage.
