I absolutely love this place. I use this place for my main meat destination. You can definitely taste the quality verses store bought. These people are so accomdating, and work well with you and try to figure out good options if you're on a budget as well.Their lunch both times I've been is absolutely delicious! This is place they'll treat you excellent and give exemplary customer service. Highly recommend this place for your butchershop needs! 😊

Fantastic local business with exceptionally friendly, local owners. Excellent selection of all things for grilling/smoking like rubs, sauces, and Green Mountain Grills; many of which you cannot find in other places.In addition to the excellent variety of meat, both normal cuts, as well as some unique items that they put together themselves daily.I was overly impressed with their selection and variety of things you wouldn’t expect to find in a town this size. They’re definitely deserving of your support.

I’ve been here a handful of times now, always leaving with something delicious. More so, Eric is a genuine and kind person. I wanted some good steaks which you cannot seem to find in Columbia anymore. I was not disappointed. I got the ribeyes and they were the best that I have ever bought in the area. The people running the place were super friendly. I will definitely be going back whenever I want steaks.

If you haven’t heard of this place it’s worth a 15 minute drive. Newly opened and a great place to shop for meat. All beef is USDA Choice. They have pork and fresh chicken too. We just bought 15 pounds of 80/20 hamburger this weekend for 4.29 a pound, and it’s awesome. Bought baby back ribs last weekend and they were the meatiest ribs I’ve had. Google them you won’t be disappointed. 👍

Nicest people in the world, and service so friendly you'll feel like you're walking five feet off the ground when you leave. They are serious about getting it right, so whether you order a sandwich (you gotta try the BLT and the Meatloaf) or you're looking for some thick, juicy cuts for a kingly feast, Sturgeon Family Meat Market will treat you like, well, like family...They truly are a cut above.

Decided to check out Sturgeon Family Meat Market after hearing good things about it. Friendly, old fashion feel that reminded me of a meat market I went to as a child in the 50's. Lots of choices like teriyaki brats with pineapple, stuffed mushrooms, Cajun turkey and many, many more, Never the less, I expected the same taste as grocery store meats. Boy, was I wrong! The turkey needed no help from condiments, as it was delicious as is. The mushrooms were so good, I actually cried a little as I finished the last one. Something called Sweet Lebonese Balogna made my mouth happy! I will be back to do my Christmas shopping there!
