Went here as a kid decades ago been away for couple decades and now live in Stockton permanently. Great small town grocery store. Quick in and out and I like the Deli good chicken and fish if you get it fresh.

Very unhappy with the fact that woods is the only grocery store here in stockton, because their service, environment and standards for what they put on the shelf is very disappointing. First of all I went in today and the whole place smelled like cat pee. I almost bought breakfast sausage that expired 11/21/23 when I noticed and pointed it out to the cashier, very politely, she was very rude. Very unsatisfied, wish they would shut down and let a new store open up that actually cares about their customers and employees. 0/10

So many of the items advertised were not available. Maybe they sold out what they had...but maybe they need to do a better job of checking sale ads and having sufficient quantity on hand! Staff are usually friendly and often offer to help carry out larger numbers of bags!

Freezers need deep cleaned, prices change often. But they always have good sales and the customer service is great. I’d score higher if freezer and meat area was cleaner.

This store is great. I actually seen them do something amazing tonight. When I walked out the store had just closed and there was a man struggling out of his truck to his wheelchair. The doors were locked and a man was unlocking it letting the last few customers out when the man in the wheelchair got to the door the employee opened the door and said they were closed and I'm not sure what else was said but the employee opened the door for this man and allowed him to get what he needed. I seen true compassion tonight here. Good for you woods.

woods should be ashamed of themselves the prices are highway robbery. $2 a bag more for Doritos then dollar general. eggs $6 a dozen , $2 more than DG. need I keep going? absolutely despicable. $6 for a bag of Doritos. I got stuck had to shop there unfortunately. never going back I'll starve first

I'm so thankful that we have a grocery store in Stockton, but each time I go I think they hit a new low. This time they asked if I wanted a small or large ice and I said small thinking small is 10# as in past. I was charged $2.99 plus tax for 5#! Returned it & went block away and got 16 or 18# for $2.50 with no tax. Feels like they are actively gouging lake traffic.

There so very expressive. I went there and I live on a very low budget. I had to put some stuff back. While I was there the cashier spoke over the intercom that they needed to put some stuff back. It was very embarrassing. For me. And I only got a few bags and it was 75$ that's ridiculous. What's sad about it is it was very busy and I was buying stuff for my son's 18 birthday. Something has to change.

Usually the staff here are friendly and helpful, however my most recent visit left a lot to be desired. I as a customer was treated very poorly. The staff was rude to me due to the fact that I did not inform them in advance that I wanted cash back. I was also told that they would not slide my woods card because my purchase was under 10 dollars. When I called and tried to talk to a manager about this. Instead of being made to feel like my business was important to them they just blew me off. I have been shopping there for over a year and always get the majority of my groceries with them. I will start traveling farther to get the customer service that I was going there for since they don't care about how they treat their customers any longer...

Place is a good rural option without having to drive far. Decent selection for a small town shopping enter u less you're after beef. Ribeye was selling for 27.99 per pound.. which is outrageous, but they have good prices on several other items.

Not sure what happened to this store.For some reason they thought it would be a great idea to make the steak so expensive I will never buy one there. Not pretty much everyone I know says the same thing.Otherwise it's not too bad it's definitely overpriced on most things but they're local you don't have to travel.

Only grocery store in town. High turn over rate of employees. Meat department is way over priced. Deli is very good. The regular staff is very nice and friendly. Mobile app needs more work. Overall not a bad store for a small town.

This store has rude and incompetent employees. Apparently this is an acceptable way to behave at this location. We saw other customers that were also being treated rudely. We had to go through 3 different checkout lines because the cashiers were unable to ring up items correctly. Wendy and the shift lead were both extremely rude and flippant. The shift lead a tall heavy set woman who wasn't wearing a name tag rolled her eyes at us. Wendy decided to wait on the cute guy behind us even though we were there first. When I spoke to Hal the 2nd Manager on duty he said that he would speak to the unnamed shift lead about her behavior. Somehow I feel that he won't even say a word.

Good grocery store chain, and this location is a fine example of the service we've received at other Woods Grocery locations in Missouri. The deli has really good chicken every time we have gotten food from there.

This is a nice store. It is in a smaller rural community, so don't expect the same selection as a store in a metropolitan area. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and accommodating. You should be able to find just about everything you need. The deli is nice and the liquor department is well stocked.

Had them at a higher rating, but a few things have happened since then. Utilized Western Union bill pay services twice at this location, and twice the employees have totally messed up the transaction. This in turn cost me over $50 in late fees over the last two months. Unfortunately this doesn't represent the company as a whole, but really cost me a lot of money so this is what happens. Other than that prices are way to high, but rewards program is good.

Alittle pricey, great fun loving service. Great ribs edit: Thank goodness they have a new manager. Horrible produce! Hope he does a better job. They do price gouge because it's the only place to shop. But the employees are the best!

Stopped in for a few supplies on my way home from work. Even though I had never been in this store before, the layout made it easy to find just what I needed quickly. Supervisory staff was quick to jump in and open a second checkout to assist the cashier when a line started forming.
