Went in to grab Dr Pepper 6packs on sale 4 for $10 Checked the main display and the shelf. There were only 3. So I asked someone for help. I'm thinking they were taking a working lunch break because it looked like she was trying to eat in the back. The other clerk was sitting on the floor counting money with the safe wide open and money in hand. Anyway I just asked if I could have an opened case from the back since there were only 3 on the shelf. After checking the same places I had checked she told me they were just stocked and pointed at the stock cart that was also lacking Dr Pepper. I said can I just get an unopened case from the back? I was told they don't come that way Hon. I said I've bought them that way before (didn't add at every other dollar general and this one). She came back with an unopened case and dumped it in the cart. I could have done without the attitude all the way around. It's a nice new store but the employees need to get with it. I was glad to see a self check out, that was the best "employee" working today.

Good store. Selection good. Employees knowledgeable. Add on, year later. The new cash registers are a joke. The customer cannot see the prices as they ring up. The screen attached to register is to small for anyone to read. Hope the new store doesn't have these. Other than that still like the store and employees.

It's okay if you need something quick when camping but it wouldn't be my 1st choice because today I went in to grab a couple things for while we camp and the cashier seemed liked she didn't know how to work even though I'm pretty sure she was a manager...

It's no surprise that this crummy dg has so many 5 star raters that convey their pleasure with two or 3 line unexpressful comments to give it a good rating. You'd think they were asked to give a good score to up their ratings!Don't know mask mandate in Cedar County but nobody wearing them in or out of store. Therefore I did not shop there.

The new store is a really nice, neat and alot of items. The new store manager has made some good changes . The old store I wouldn't have waisted my time going into but the new store is nice and clean.

I'm a pretty big fan of Dollar General but I must say that the one in Stockton, Mo. is very small and therefore everything seems so cramped together and with the Pandemic worldwide right now, that's a very uncomfortable feeling for me and my longtime girlfriend.The staff is really great people they are very polite and professional and from what I've seen they have a really good repore with their local customers. If it wasn't such a small store I would've given it a 5 star review. (I will be updating my review with pictures real soon.)

I usually love dollar general stores however this is the first time I was treated bad at a dollar general and by two very young employees. Needless to say I will be call their manager. Never will I shop this dollar general again.

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff.Prices are always top notch for a business of the sort.DG coupon app is great! Downloaded while in store, so was able to take advantage of discount on item I was purchasing that day.

I go here because its convenient and they have a few things I need. However what in the world is wrong with the staff? Quit asking me to do the survey on the receipt when I stand in line behind five people. Then when I get to the register, please have the cashiers stop making unsolicited comments. I don't care if your boyfriend is late. I don't care for any of the mindless comments about how stressful your job is. And why is the receipt long enough to wipe out an acre of the rainforest?

One is too much I have a broken leg I'm standing in line while a Customer and employees are talking when it comes my turn the lady told me to go to the other cashier so I had to walk all the way around remember my leg is in a cast and no I won't return until you have better employees I've seen that store when it was Customer friendly

The store is convenient to get to and good prices, but if you are disabled (like me) bring some muscle to move the stocking carts and carts of empty boxes or you won't get down the aisles or be able to get to most items.

A great place to go if you like to keep some of the hard earned money you make. They keep producing more great deals every time I turn around. Conveniently located right here in Stockton, Mo. I don't have to drive far anymore.

The store looks amazing even when the trucks come in they try to keep it nice and neat and tidy and it's gotten so much better every week that I've been in here and I love the staff the friendly courteous if you need the help that they're help you if they're not busy doing something else to helping other customers. every time I do come in there and I see something different I noticed it and I compliment all the employees on how well the store looks and how well they keep making sure that it looks amazing 😍 they also try to help you when they're sales they let you know when the clearance sales are coming up or catch a bargain it ain't just cuz it's a HomeTown store or just cuz it's convenient I love going in the store because I put a smile on my face every time I do come in there. Also if if the staff knows that I've been in the store previously looking for something and they didn't have it in on stock and it happened to come in on drugs and make sure to let me know as soon as I walk in the door if they can remember

Stockton Dollar General is another nice Dollar General. It is clean and has friendly staff. If you are looking for fresh like some other Dollar Generals you are out of luck as this Dollar General does not offer fresh fruits. But what makes this place Great is the home town friendly hello and service. Thank you all who goes out of your way to provide great service even when you are over worked and under staff A+ in my book!

Highly disappointed .... The lady at The registrater, I do believe that her name was Stacey.... Very rude to me ( Mrs.Booth) & and friend before me, talked rudely and was trying to get rid of us to the point that when asked for price check she gave use the wrong information and also when she told a item was not what said she got rude disrespectful and told me and friend that she would cover the amount . truefuly we would of had the right amount if she wasn't rushing us out, my self and my friend was feeling like she was in the wrong and needs to not rush with her work and customers.Thank you,

Great place to shop for food and not walk a mile doing it. They have the brands of a few items that I prefer to what I can buy at the grocery store. Some items are about half what I would pay at the grocery store!

I just want to say the Dollar General that I go to here in Stockton Missouri all of their employees are so helpful so polite the stores always clean if you can't find something there's always someone there to give you a helping hand thumbs up

Needs to be a little larger or less merchandise so there's more room in the Isles could be a little cleaner
