Yum! Ordered a half oreo half cookie dough shake - was so delicious. It's awesome they have food too. We went on Saturday and they close at 9p, but kitchen closes at 8p, so be sure to get there by then if you want hot food. Everyone working there was so nice and the shake came out quick. There was a couple there with a beautiful Dodge Dart too. I love the dif sizes - they had a tiny size that looked like enough for a thimble worth of ice cream.

We love this place - Dairy Isle & Grill! We have been coming here for years for some of the best ice cream, shakes, burgers, and chicken sandwiches, and oh ya, the fries. The roads coming and going in all directions are excellent for a motorcycle ride!

If you want really good food, ice cream, or shakes/malts this is the place! I ordered a burger combo, with a blackberry malt, Buffalo cauliflower bites and ranch on the side for dipping. Two young gals took my order and called me when the order was done. Not sure what the cook did but the burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. The Buffalo cauliflower bites had the perfect spice and the side ranch dressing tasted like it was homemade. The blackberry malt went nicely with both the burger and sides. I was so impressed I had to go back and get a soft vanilla cone dipped in chocolate and it was also amazing. I asked the gals working about the history of this place and they pointed out it has been around since the 50s. Superb friendly service and super good food. If I could give more than 5 stars I would as this place deserves it. 👍

The burgers were great. Five stars for the burgers and friendly and helpful staff. We had a couple of problems that were either easily fixed or they replaced the item quickly. We also appreciate and enjoyed the Dole Whip (dairy free).

Update 3/28/2024 strawberry shortcake concrete was extremely well done, shortcake pieces and strawberry all the way to last bites.Great seasonal Carmel Apple shake with real apple pieces in every sip.

Excellent cod sandwich - note it is on a note dog bun, though. Very good vegetarian burger as well!Coffee shake was only okay - would get another flavor or go for concrete !

If you're in Steelville for any reason. Dairy Isle and Grill has the best bacon cheeseburger, chocolate marshmallow shake I've had in a very long time. The service and people were both wonderful! Stop by any time you get the chance!

We ALWAYS have to stop here after returning from camping trips in SE MO. Great ice cream treats! Plus they always give our pup a little dish as well! He loves it!

We stopped for ice cream. Mint chocolate chip and butter pecan both in waffle cones they were very good. Service was fairly quick, and they were busy. Parking is ok. Easy in and out to main road.It is a Burger stand. So, thete is only outside seating, and there are no public restrooms.

I love, love, love this place! They sell the cutest miniature ice cream cones that are a perfect quick little snack for only 75 cents! Food is good too, and the service satisfies me. The walk-up window and outdoor seating are enjoyable, and the ever-changing, witty sayings displayed on their sign always make me chuckle and smile! Thanks Dairy Isle!!

I have always loved Diary Isle, but it's not like it use to be. Can't go inside, and hamburger wasn't the same taste. I miss going inside and enjoying a meal and ice-cream. Wish it would go back go the way it use to be.

I absolutely LOVE the Dairy Isle! Although I am a St. Louis resident, I have been going here my whole life (my parents have owned land in Cherryville since the 70's) and it's ALWAYS a treat. Today I had the opportunity to share in my friend's first Dairy Isle experience. Our food was made well and quickly to the point where it was almost too hot to eat. I love the Dairy Isle and can't wait for the next time I'm in town so I can get another banana milkshake!

Owner and staff where the best, very nice. Let us know about the free refills, ect. Definitely going back. Me and the Mrs. Will make this place part of our tradition when going trout fishing for sure. Everything was terrific!

Came for ice cream because they said they were open until 8. Drove 45 minutes to find out they closed early for a meeting. I understand needing meetings but not during business hours making it so you cannot do the business you are advertising.

Have loved it in the past. Went for the first time this season and got my usual banana shake with Nutella. My giant shake straw kept getting clogged with the banana peel type pieces. Would've made it much better if those had been removed before the blender!

They have shakes and ice cream, with some decent (if overpriced) food options. $2/wingette, Popeyes prices for half the amount of food. Overall not a bad visit, the staff working the stand were very nice and helpful! :)

Don't bother stopping for the fried cauliflower. A usual favorite for us no longer. You get 4 pieces of cauliflower for 4.69!? 😳🙄 Pass on by.The staff didn't seem to be concerned with my utter shock in this change. We use to get a bag full, like fries....
