As with any pharmacy, phone patience is required, but this team will work hard to get you medication! Megan specifically at this pharmacy was A+++ She worked to make sure I had my medication as I was going out of town on short notice and needed it ASAP. I appreciate her so, so much! She was kind and courteous, and made sure I was informed about the process, she called me back in a timely manner to give me updates!! Thank you!

Michele is a wonderful pharmacy associate at this location. I went to pick up a prescription and see didn't like the price sure saw on it and gave me an additional discount on top of starts using their discount card. Customer service has become a lost art but she is excellent at it.

I've been a very happy customer here for over eight years. Was informed tonight that "because of rampant crime, you can not use a shopping cart after 9 pm."The clerk said make their money in the pharmacy so they aren't worried about losing front of store shopping customers.I bought only 3 items I could carry instead of the 10+ items I needed, and went elsewhere.You should at least have the hand baskets or let people give you an ID to get a cart to shop with.

Quite literally the worst pharmacy. Spent an hour in the pharmacy drive through line only to be told that my medication wasn’t ready. This medication was ordered the previous day. Had well over 36 hours to fill it. I was told to pull back around and wait in line again. Waited another 45 minutes to get back to the window. Will NEVER have another med filled here for sure.

The call center Walgreens uses is not well informed and/or their systems aren't informative. I called and was told I didn't have any additional refills. Then, when I visited the pharmacy in person, I was told I was too early to refill a 30 day supply for my medicine, even though I had refilled it more than 30 days prior. Why am I being made to wait more than 30 days on refills for a 30 day supply? I do not recommend this pharmacy.

This is the worst pharmcy in town. No matter what, my prescriptions are never there when they say they are. You can’t trust the text message alerts, when you go inside to wait in line (because waiting in your car for 45min only to figure out that your script is not ready sucks) you still have to wait up to 20min in line.I’ve used this pharmacy at least 10 times since I moved….I’m now asking them to send all my scripts to the Walgreens on St.Louis….those staff are actually organized and you don’t have to wait for an hour for someone to answer the phone. ZERO stars! This is the first time I’ve ever written a google review for such terrible experiences.

I called last night at 8pm to see if I could have my prescription refill ready and waiting by 11 am the next morning. The pharmacist assured me that they would fill it that night and I would not have to wait in the morning after I explained my day was very hectic the next day. Why did the pharmacist at 11am tell me I needed to wait 30 mins to an hour and my name would be placed on the board immediately for refill? I already waited 15 hours!!! I could have done this last night if they had told me that they were just not going to do it until I showed up.

Consistently horrible service. If you have 45 minutes to kill, send your prescription to this location. Interestingly, we started using this Walgreens because the Walgreens we went to previously was even worse.

This pharmacy is always behind on prescriptions. Today I had one called in at noon and didn’t get there until 7:30 and they said it hadn’t been started yet. If you tell them you will come back later they won’t start filling it until you return so you’re stuck there waiting no matter what. Guy behind me said his prescription was sent the day before and he got the same answer. Avoid this location at all cost.

The last place on this side of town open 24 hours for essentials and they changed their hours. As someone who has to work overnight and has stopped here for essentials on my way home as it’s the only place open this is very upsetting.

I have a spinal disk out of place that causes me extreme pain. I called Walgreens to check if my pain meds would be ready as I will not be able to return to work or drive my car without them. They said they had them ready. When I had my wife go to pick them up, she was told they weren’t available and wouldnt be for multiple days. I was on the phone for two full hours listening to the hold music tell me, “theres 2 callers ahead of you” before the call was ended on their side. I understand that walgreens probably doesnt pay their employees as well as they should, but that doesn’t mean I want to be in agony from whoever in the pharmacy not caring to do any part of their job.

The wait time at this store for the pharmacy is HORRIBLE. I was 3rd in line on the right hand drive through lane. 5 cars were helped in the left lane while the red car in front if me sent the canister back and forth 9 times!!!! They should have been told to come inside instead of letting them hold up the line for over 30 minutes! I am moving all of my business from Walgreens. Find somewhere else to go folks!

Called and was told the pharmacist would have to answer my question and she’d transfer me, 2 hrs on hold (NOT exaggerating), we own a business so I’m trying to run the register, listen for Walgreens to pick up, headed to a ballgame still listening to see if they pick up only for a recording to come on asking for a survey of the call, dumb move on their part!!!! I took the survey alright and never did talk to the pharmacist, tomorrow’s another day, guess I’ll try again. 🤦‍♀️

Garbage customer service! Been trying for 4 days to get a prescription transferred to CVS. Was told CVS has to make the request but every time they call they’re on the phone for 30-45 minutes with no answer and have even been hung up on! They explain they have the medication and can fill it but I don’t want them to fill it because they’re more expensive. Then when I ask to speak to their boss, they send me to their pointless service call center. At this point, it seems they’re being intentionally difficult!

Absolutely the worst customer service of any pharmacy in town. Prescription was called in 2 hours before I showed up. Got to the drive up window and waited 40 minutes before I was serve d. I was then told that it would be another 30 to 45 minute wait once I was put on the list to have the prescription filled. Was told that the pharmacist couldn't fill prescriptions because they were busy doing immunizations.

Not happy at all with E. Sunshine store in Springfield MO. Made an appointment for a vaccination over the web for 10 am in the morning. Got to the pharmacy 15 minutes early but had to stand in line 15 minutes to get to the front of the line. She gave me forms to fill out, so I sat down, filled them out and handed them back immediately. An additional 15 minutes later she called out my name and said I could get back in line to "check out". I just left the store at that point - seriously, why do they even make appointments? We were already 15 minutes past my appointment time, I'm quite certain it would have taken another 1/2 hour before I would be serviced. I set up an appointment at Sams, showed up early, got my vaccine and was out of the store before my appointment was even supposed to start. Go to Sams, CVS, anywhere but Walgreens.

Even before covid, I have had countless problems with this pharmacy. On numerous occasions, they will ignore the phone when you call. This was actually confirmed by the store manager who had to physically go to the pharmacy and tell them to answer the phone. Just recently, they have started closing the pharmacy for half an hour or so during the middle of the day, which means that I have to wait even longer to get my prescriptions that my doctor just sent to them. The level of service at this place is beyond horrible. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I have tried SO hard to like Walgreens. So hard in fact, I switched to this location instead of the one that's right by my house. I got an email the other day saying how FAST Walgreens online pick up order is now. So fast you can get an order in 30 minutes. So I placed an online order for pick up at 2:01 p.m. today. 2 and a 1/2 hours go by and I have no notifications about my order. So I call the store and the women I spoke with says they don't have an order under my name. So I give her my confirmation number. Her response was "Uh, can I call you back in a few minutes while we look for this order?" "Sure", I say. 10 minutes goes by, no call. I did however receive a text saying my order was delayed and would be ready "soon." So I call the store back, I wait, and I wait , finally the same women I spoke with earlier says "Oh, your order just came through. It will be ready in 5 minutes." I literally could have went on my lunch break, got my FIVE PRODUCTS, and been done with less hassle than this. And the ONLY reason I did an online order was because Walgreens sent me an email saying how FAST the online pick up was. Sorry Walgreens but I'm just done with you.

This is my second 5-star review of Walgreens Pharmacy, but this time in Springfield, Missouri. These folks are amazing at diffusing an otherwise emergency situation in record time! My hat goes off to the amazing folks in the pharmacy (i.e. Man Yin, aka “Money”). Thank you very much for your help last night and getting me on my way in record time. Walgreens has continued to prove that they are able to deal with any situation that I have thrown their way. Thank you!!!

I've never experienced so many issues with a pharmacy. They told me they couldn't refill my prescription, even though my doctor had sent an entire year's prescription to them. The techs are usually pretty helpful, but the pharmacist was incredibly rude to me when I asked for help with this and just told me it wasn't his problem and that he couldn't do anything and turned me away, even though it was the pharmacy's fault. I will never use this Walgreens again.

The pharmacy at this location is extremely busy but most my experiences with them once I can speak to them in person has been pleasant and productive. The drive thru line causes me to reschedule pickups sometimes, the reason for 4 Stars. The cashiers up front are always very nice and helpful, especially Renatta (she was my favorite cashier when she was at Dillons) she is always looking out for the best deals for her customers. She is a true asset to this store.

The pharmacist really helped my mom out of a jam when the hospital messed up her prescription. They actually checked around to other stores to see if her medications were available. When they weren’t they were able to contact the doctor and suggest an alternate treatment.This saved her time and money…not to mention her peace of mind. I wish I knew who to thank personally. THANK YOU!I wish everyone took better care of each other in this crazy mixed up time. May God bless this person/pharmacist!

Closing the store from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m . Is not customer service oriented. Why not do like every other business and stager employee lunches. If you are short handed it makes sense. If you are full staff it makes even better sense.

The pharmacy staff helped me resolve a prescription problem with my new doctor. The doctor had prescribed a medicine that contained ingredients that I am very allergic to, and I was having a terrible time trying to get the doctor's staff to understand. The Walgreen's pharmacists communicated with the doctor's staff to explain the situation and get my prescription corrected. They went above and beyond and really helped me out.Edit:Well, things have changed. My allergies have forced me to use only one manufacturer for one of my meds. The doctor ordered that manufacturer. Three times this Walgreens said my prescription was ready. They changed the manufacturer without telling us! The first time, the restriction had been removed from my prescription and when I told the technician he snapped at me to “prove it”. We were not allowed a financial refund, but they did at least update my insurance that a refill had not been received. In the end I have moved all my meds to a different pharmacy. They have become hateful about allergies and do not believe their customers.

Was told my medication was out of stock and nothing they could do and to try filling at a different pharmacy. Hours later we find out it can't be transferred. Then they say they got it back in stock today and to come in 30 minutes to pick it up. Arrive 30m later and they have to check and see if they have any.. then they started filling it. What happened to customer service??

This walgreens has gone down hill fast. I used to never have issues here. It was always a smooth process. However today all of that changed. Their pharmacist refused to take the doctors prescription. It was for a pain med for my son who had a flash burn to his eyes he got in welding. That is extreemly painful. I was sent back to the doctors office 4x. The final time I was sent back was unnecessary as I have called the state board and been told the prescription was acceptable.I will not waste my time here. Walgreens will hopefully monitor their numbers for this location. They are going to start falling due to people like this pharmacist on a power trip.Meanwhile my son was denied any kind of relief for over 3 hours. Not to mention that I had to drive an hour to the pharmacy and another hour home. Which that part isnt their fault but the 3 hour delay is totally their fault.Ive been going to walgreens for 20 yrs. As a Registered Nurse after what I experienced today I will not be back.

If it were possible to give zero stars then thats what this pharmacy would have gotten. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. First it started with a Tech named Bri (bridget) who wouldnt even acknowledge that we were literally right in front of her at the window. We pushed the call button numerous times and she would not even greet us. Then when she finally did it was nothing but attitude like we were inconviencing her by making her do the job she is paid to do. Then John the pharmacist comes over to try to "remedy"the situation. Instead of asking how he could help resolve our complaint he immediately starts blaming us for the fact that his employee is upset. At one point when we told him we would be filing a complaint with his supervisor he responded by telling us that the supervisor is his best friend and he isnt worried about getting in trouble because of that fact! Wow

The female pharmacy assistant Bridget, working the window today (8/9/18) at 12:30pm was beyond rude, combative, and flat out disrespectful. I am terribly sorry my wife with a newborn and two other children, had some questions about medications and fulfillment. Apparently, asking questions is cause to be treated like less than human. I truly am perplexed as to how this woman has a job. Honestly, multiple cars were taking to one another about how bad the service was.

Two pharmacy drive thru lanes but only one person working both lanes. That is ignorant. Three cars have gone before me that arrived after me. One lane or two people would be smart. But they apparently are not smart.
