I booked an appointment for my dog about a week and a half in advanced. The night before at 8:30pm I received an email that they canceled my dogs appointment. I called customer service since this was after hours ironically and they apologized for the error and then rescheduled me back for my appointment at 10am. I arrived early as always at 9:15am, right after they open, for my 10am appointment and they told me they had canceled it again! Of course I was very frustrated because of the communication error on their end especially since they reassured me at 8:37pm that my appointment was fine and on the books. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right Rachel continued to blame me and said that we had canceled the appointment at 11pm which was not true since we’re in bed by 9. Instead of showing any empathy or trying to help us she continued tell us that everything was our fault and that we were the problem. Rachels customer service was absolutely repulsive and she wouldn’t even apologize for their system issue. We spent 2 hours of our day wasted getting our dog to our appointment that we were told was scheduled at 8:37pm the night before. All it takes is one distasteful person to ruin an experience. Hopefully no one else has to deal with her catty attitude, customer neglect and foul customer service. Any other business would apologize and try to find a resolution. Probably for the best honestly because I’d hate for anyone of that nature taking care of any of my pets anyways.

The service we receive at Petco is always of good quality, I've yet to deal with any rude groomers, the groom is timely and always looks great. I was going through my vet's office for grooming, however they are not able to keep a consistent groomer on staff and the wait for an appointment, as an established patient, was many weeks at times. I had no issue making an appointment online for just a few days later.

I had been having trouble finding a grooming appointment no matter who I called especially on short notice. Many groomers are booked way in advance these days. I had a whim one morning to try Petco to have doggy's nails trimmed since these chains will work you in even if they're booked up for grooming. Low and behold their online booking showed 2 morning appointments open. Rebecca was scheduled for the groom. She was nice. Said it would be 2 1/2 to 3 hours before finishing and pickup. I knew my papillon would be nervous and not like it. I wanted to be there the whole time, but I trusted her and the process and left. When I returned, doggy was still a little shaky but she's that way at the vet too... usually worse. The awesome thing was that she looked and smelled so good. And this has lasted days now. Her coat is so sleek and soft, I love petting her more. After I'd wash her she'd be back to grungy in 2 days. See before & after pics !

Our groomer was extremely patient and worked diligently on our stubborn golden. And had his paws looking amazing when she got done which is not an easy feat(feet) lol

My dogs need their nails clipped and buffed. When I try to call no one ever answers the phone. How can I make an appointment when you can't get them to pick up the phone?

The crew is so helpful and sweet. We just got a rescue on Saturday and were able to get her groomed two days ago. The groomer was such a sweetheart and took care of our baby; she was very patient with our dog and pampered her. We paid a little more, but it was worth the value :)

Rebecca is an amazing groomer. I always feel at ease when I drop off my dog with her. She does the best job, and is always so kind and polite! It’s hard to find someone you can trust! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Would give zero !! Not a fan of the groomers added things on without my permission charged me extra then cut the inside of my dogs ears and didn’t even feel as clean as normal groomers I’ve been too . will not be here again , first and last!!! Over charged for poor quality .. disappointing!!

They always take such good care of my German shepard. I've never been charged extra because she's an, "aggressive breed." I've never been disappointed by their work, this is the only place I take my dog. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! After getting cancelled on 30min prior to my grooming appointment with Petsmart, I called Petco to see if they could by chance fit in our newly adopted dog and they were amazing and worked me in. Which was just the beginning of all the goodness. Sarah was so kind and understanding of our dog being newly adopted and took her time with her since she was a little scared. On my way to pick up our dog, I got locked out of our house, sans car keys, and they were totally understanding and even asked me about it when I went to pick up my dog. I am so thoroughly impressed and thankful and our sweet Laekyn looked amazing to boot! Needless to say I am moving all three of our dogs from Petsmart to Petco!

I went in to find an airline-approved soft cat carrier. I wandered for a little while until I found the section I needed. There was no available staff to help. I saw some carriers priced at $60-80, so I looked for cheaper options. There was a cardboard display of some smaller ones but no prices. I found a row of other cheaper-looking options on another shelf but again, no prices. I tried to compare on the website to no avail. I finally left & went to PerSmart across the street. I was greeted immediately and shown the correct section. Everything was priced at under $40 so I made my selection and left PetSmart in a small amount of time and was happy with my purchase!

I have very large dog and is spoiled . He is a emotional support animal.The groomer were very good with him. He had very long nails due to just moving back to the area from Texas. But your groomers were great. Thank you so much.

Charged $120 for a bath, nail trim and de shed. Her belly was still wet, some nails aren’t even cut, she’s still shedding and now has a cowlick. Usually go to Transfurmations on republic road who does all these things listed for $50-$60 and she comes out smelling fresh and with a bandana. Do not use petco!! Very unhappy.

I went to get my dog nails done. With no warning ⚠️ or other that it's a petco Rule . I was told that for a walk in nail trimming that they could no longer do it , because my dog that's a pug could no longer stand up on his own . I did try to find anything in there terms for walk in apts could not find anything. When asked can you do this one and then I can find another place . NO we can't it's a Petco policy. No one would even take the time to show me this in there policy's. After 9 yrs of getting them done there . That's why I was so sad 😢 and confused because they had been doing it over the last past 4Mo and he had the same conditions.

The groomer (unfortunately I don't recall her name) actually cares about doing a good job. She is very friendly, polite and attentive to detail. I have been very happy with the grooming at Petco and will return.

Azzie was absolutely amazing. Our poor Phoebe was very matted due to not being able to be groomed during the Covid situation. Azzie was able to remove all mats and she looks phenomenal. We won't trust anyone else with our Phoebe. We are repeat customers and will remain that way! Thank you!!

We just moved here and Cooper has always been groomed in Mesa, AZ at Petco. I was worried that the new place wouldn't do as good a job, but they did an excellent job and I will highly recommend them to all my new friends.

Went to have a nail trim on my dog. Staff was very friendly and did a great job trimming his nails. Will definitely be having his nails trimmed at Petco from now on.
