I was surprised they had fog grooming openings today. My dog has never had a haircut so I had a little trepidation. I expected Rebecca would work on her right away and be done in an hour, but she told me 2 1/2 to 3. It was about 3 hours when I returned and she was just finishing. My dog looked, smelled, and felt so much better! It was $55. I opted for the nail rounding/polishing for $12. And you can tip if you want. I'm going to include before & after pics

I had originally gone to a local fish shop to pick my Betta and tank accessories, but felt incredibly talked down to. I went to Petco right after, and the woman in the fish section was super friendly and very helpful! She helped me pick out the right food, told me how often to do my water changes, and helped me pick out the right accessories for his tank so he would be happy and healthy. She really made me feel comfortable and happy to bring home my new pet, when I was ready to just give up the idea entirely.

My go to place for my pupI had three different groomer and girls were very nice and gentle with my dog.my pup ollie is very nervous and scared dog but she behaves well with groomers here ~I would recommend samantha, kay, rebeccaThose girls rock !!!Honestly i didnt expect this much from petco but this location is exceptional !

The staff is always helpful and kind for me. I am able to stop in on a regular basis and be out the door without issue. All of my questions have been answered to my satisfaction.

I was disappointed in my last online ordering experience. My 5 days to pick up an order we’re going to be over before we could pick up the dogfood because of the frigid temperatures, snow, and road conditions. I called and asked if they could keep the order until today and they agreed and said they put a note on it. I received an email saying my order had been cancelled but I thought that was just routine and in error. We went to pick up the order and sure enough it wasn’t there. If we lived in Springfield that wouldn’t be so bad, but we live an hour away.

Our go-to for Chinese buffet in SGF. The buffet line moves well, food is always hot, staff is very friendly, very decent number of options on buffet plus Mongolian BBQ to order and sushi bar. A great family place.

Stopped by to get a betta. I happened to get there just as they had a new shipment. There was several bettas to pick from. It was tough because the were really pretty ones.this is the one I brought home,, He is healthy and happy. Love Petco on west sunshine st.

TRAINER MIA REVIEW-Eight weeks ago we came in with our highly aggressive puppy, JAWS. He was full on Dennis the Menace terrorizing every other slower paced shopper and dog in sight. I cried every time we took him to the park for walks as he would attack anything that would pass us by. It was a nightmare taking him anywhere but we needed to socialize him. We had no idea how to properly do so and he needed professional help. I was honestly at a loss as I felt like the worlds worst pet mom. I remember being on my hands and knees holding him back as he was growling/barking loudly at another dog in the Petco dog isle. I had tears down my face buried into his fur. He's a good boy at home but unfortunately we just didn't socialize him properly.Mia, the dog trainer working that day came running into action. She asked very politely if we needed help after seeing the distress in my eyes. She took over and corrected JAWS instantly. He was even taken aback by how confident and quick she acted. He wanted to snap at her but her movements and lessons prevented him from doing so. Then with a quickness she told us her name and that if we ever needed help with JAWS's behavior that she could be the expert we needed.I always reminiscence that day because it was fate. JAWS was decent at the pet store we went to prior to Petco but then showed the full extent of his aggression  at the Petco that Mia was so happening to work at. I like to think that she is an angel woman in disguise sent to save all the little furry rascals that enjoy starting mayhem.Today, JAWS graduated his training program. He went from being this belligerent snarling dog on a choker that lunged at the elderly, to my sweet baby boy on a padded harness. After class we took him to several stores to get toys for his accomplishments and an older gentleman walking on a cane came up to JAWS. I got scared because JAWS tensed up at the sight of the cane but then he relaxed. JAWS then allowed the man to pet him! JAWS did not snarl, bite, lunge, snap, or even growl.Thanks to trainer Mia, I have a precious boy who went from demon to perfection. She taught us so much and her personality is absolutely spectacular. Even for socially awkward people like us, she made training comfortable and straightforward. She used her witty humor, metaphors, and her knowledge to make instructions easy to comprehend/follow.It was an affordable experience that we will cherish forever. JAWS paws thanks you a million Trainer Mia!On an end note, Petco give this woman a raise because you all hit the gold mine with her!

I absolutely hate the fact you need to chase the employees around the store for a half hour before you finally get help and it's been like this every time I go in there for the last two years since I moved here... now that I think about it both stores have these issues and needs to be addressed to someone higher then the managers. Overall the tanks are clean most of the time, decent fish selection for what basic fish they do offer but I find both stores understocked and having to drive almost an hour each way doesn't help when product isn't on the shelves.

Always a pleasure to shop for my babies here at Petco. This store is in a great location... close to many of the other stores I frequent, plenty of parking, and the clerks are all super friendly and very knowledgeable! Fabulous selection of both dry and canned dog food (cat food, too!) Consider joining Vital Care... I've saved a lot of money by being a member.

Not a fan of the groomers added things on without my permission charged me extra then cut the inside of my dogs ears and didn’t even feel as clean as normal groomers I’ve been too . will not be here again , first and last!!! hopefully there are better groomers then this around here..

My dog was a challenge in several ways so my son bought training classes for us. I am very pleased with the job Blake did and I am amazed at the improvement. He helped me understand my dog and how to work with him so we are all happy. The problem isn't the dog, it's learning how to relate to him. I think Blake did an incredible job and my dog loved him.

My dog is an extremely aggressive chewer. I went to Walmart as well as a couple other pet places and there wasn’t much of a variety for her. This Petco had so much to choose from in both treats and toys for aggressive chewers. I was pleasantly surprised.
