My dog Gidget works alongside me everyday. She’s seemed a little tired as well as not being interested in her food at mealtimes. After being a vendor at the farmer’s market next to Fred from Pet Wants, I decided to try feeding my darling co-worker the chicken and brown rice. Like it? She loves it! She always does some work before she gets her kibbles and where she used to do a fun jump at hip-high before, she now jumps eye level or higher! As a side note, she doesn’t seem to want as many breaks at marketing events. I’m seeing my dog have more energy and pizzazz so I’m very pleased with my switch to this food! Thanks Pet Wants!

Me and the boys are so happy we found Pet Wants. We started with just Chews from them and now do the food as well. They are doing so much better on the NEW Food. Thank you Pet Wants for loving my babies like I do. Geronimo, Red Cloud say Thank You as well.

Joy, joy, joy. Thanks to the manager here I was able to find something that comforts my dog and stops her from tearing at her feet. For 4+ years I have spent thousands (because I am a crazy dog mom) trying to find something, from shampoos to supplements to medications to prescription foods to tests to you name it to try to stop her itching. She rips at her feet and ears and nothing, neurological, allergy, or whatever, works much at all. I went into this store on a whim and the manager talked to me about this particular supplement and explained how it worked. She was extremely knowledgeable and I thought, "What do I have to lose?" So I tried it and I am shocked. My dog is actually laying down beside me not ripping her feet apart. Priceless. Priceless. Priceless.

I tried to go in and buy frozen dog food. Primal beef flavor. It was marked down. I asked when the would be getting more. Because the dog food expired in 12/22. I told her that I did not want to feed my dog expired dog food and she said she was not going to order more until they sold the old product. I am just so upset that they charge $29-$39. And it’s expired. If you sell that what else is expired in your store! I won’t be back. And all of my friends also shop there! I will be telling everyone I know that they do not tell you if the food and treats they sell are expired or old! That is one reason I started shopping with you because I trusted you to sell my dog great and healthy food. But I guess not!

Love this place! Their dog food is so much better quality then other places. It has a stronger smell and a not as dry texture. Our dog was super receptive to switching to this food. I also like how they don’t sell or promote rawhide here. I can trust whatever I buy will be good for our dogs health without having to do too much label reading lol.

This place is amazing! They make their own dog food, fresh every month. My Yorkie is incredibly picky, but he likes their food so much I can literally give it to him instead of treats. They also have a ton of goodies, healthy toppers and skincare for your pup. I'm so happy I found them!

Fantastic, they have a fundraiser every 4th Saturday to get your dogs nails trimmed for $10, for an additional $5 they will clean their ears and apply a gel on their teeth!

What a gem! Great quality products and fresh food. Unique natural treats. Knowledgeable guidance for our particular needs and I easily returned a seat cover that we changed our mind about. Our dog loves the food and you can change flavors without upset stomachs. Also fun and festive birthday/holiday stuff. They've got me covered and I'm glad someone recommended me. Also, your dog can bring you as long as you're leashed ☺️

Really wanted to support a locally owned pet store, and had heard great things about this one. Needed some skin and coat treats for the pups and thought I’d check it out! When i walked in I was greeted by the employee and asked if they could help me find anything and so I mentioned what I was looking for to the employee. She asked what i fed them and I told her followed with how I’m not interested in changing their food at this time and am simply wondering if they have any treats for skin and coat. Employee went on for about 10 minutes about the food Pet Wants sold, talking over me and not listening when I said I wasn’t interested. When she finally accepted defeat, multiple times after she said under her breath how if i would just change to their food then I wouldn’t need supplements.Pro’s it is a super cute store with a lot of neat products, treats, supplements, and toys! Not to mention the pet food they do sell is very good if you want to step up your pets food game.Cons Employee kept going on about the dog food after telling her multiple times I wasn’t interested in switching foods at this time.If it wasn’t for that I would have definitely been down to try switching my dogs to it. However, as pushy as the employee was today I won’t be returning or recommending it to friends anymore. Hopefully there is another locally owned pet store I can find to support instead.

My favorite place to buy our pet supplies. Love how personable everyone is and how they remembered us. Our boys (beagle and Rottweiler) love their foods, treats and toys. We tried the bake your own dog treat and let me tell you, they didn't leave one single crumb.

Their price is a little more expensive than other pet shops for the same products. But they carry a lot of unique products and have a good selection of it. For example I found CBD oil at different strength, very completed selection of freeze dried products.

I really love Petwants. They have so many natural choices for your pet's needs ( mainly dogs and cat) but can be a little expensive but you get what you pay for! I hope they stay open. Their selection of natural dog treats is wonderful.

We stopped in one day in Dec 2019, just to check out this new store. We found that they sell locally made dog and cat kibble for only 2.50 a pound, which was about the same we were paying for our Senior formula from Petco. Finding that this food is always fresh (made at least once a month), we picked up a little trial bag. We put a few pieces into his food to see how he could handle the switch, and he picked out the pieces from Pet Wants and didn't want the old stuff, even going as far as getting out attention to run over to the table the bag with the rest of the PW food was sitting to whine for it.Scruffy is over 10 years old, and was a very sleepy, tired dog that was a few pounds overweight. He goes through his new food a little faster, but has lost his extra weight from playing, running around in the yard and taking lk ger walks now! The new pet food has really made a huge difference, and since it is sold by the pound, if we are running low just before payday, we can pop in for just one or twopounds, if needed.The staff has always been courteous and friendly, inviting us to bring Scruffy, and put his photo up in their store. Feels like a friendly community of pet lovers, and their partnership with local pet charities is just a cherry on top of the sundae.
