Lots to look at. A team member helped me find rechargeable batteries and I browsed flooring and cabinet supplies. It was a fun and relaxing shopping trip with a free coffee bar and waters in the "pros" department. They are going above and beyond the job requirements and I appreciate their hard work and friendly smiles. Thank you! I can't wait to come back.

wonderful! the folk at self check out were great with helping me me out with all the discount plants I got; a ponytail palabras and 2 bamboo pants among the lot all 50% off and they took the time to make sure I got all the discounts! great staff and very friendly and helpful

Not a fan of self check out, when there are employees standing about, and when you ask for help they don’t know where anything is, and they have lousy customer service. I worked for Lowe’s while going to college, when they opened the first Lowe’s in Fresno, Ca and we had to build the store from shelving up. We took pride in knowing where everything was in the store no matter what department you worked in. We also took pride in providing great customer service. I know statistically stores only care about profit, but what happened to good old customer service. I only shop there when I have to. My main hardware store in this area is Menards, they have customer service and employees who want to help you.

First I would like to recognize the one person at this location who made my experience great. Chuck was the most helpful associate I have had the opportunity to run into during my many shopping experiences at several Lowe’s stores. He was so knowledgeable in every aspect and provided me with above and beyond customer care. I intended to leave a 5 star review just because of his friendliness and over the top assistance.Unfortunately my first trip to a Springfield Lowe’s was soured as soon as I completed my shopping. I walked towards the checkout area looking for an open lane other than self checkout due to having a full cart that consisted of gallons of paint, a 5 gallon bucket of paint, and supplies. I asked if there was an open checker. I was told there wasn’t one, self checkout was the only thing available. “We will help you if you need it.”I grab the 3 wooden paint stirrers out of my cart to put in the bag first. The associate quickly grabs them out of the bag and investigates them. Flipping them over and over, baffled I said “The associate in the paint department gave them to me.” She promptly ignores me and proceeds to look for said invisible bar code. Thinking she can’t be serious, I said “They’re paint stirrers, they’re normally free.” She then mutters, “Oh, what are they?” Then puts them back in the bag. I grab the next item to scan myself but she grabs the scanner and attempts to do it for me. I informed her that I could do it myself. I would’ve chalked this up as a simple lack of judgment, but she tells her fellow coworker to “watch” me as she goes on break. As she walks away she tells coworker Ethan to “have fun”.Now the true humility begins. Ethan proceeded to hover over me the remaining duration of my check out. He watched as I scanned every item and place a couple of bags on the floor so that I could scan all of the paint. I finished scanning and proceeded to complete my purchase which totaled to $420. Once Ethan saw my transaction approved, he started to pick up the bags I had on the floor. I quickly told him I didn’t need his help after he felt the need to hover over me the ENTIRE time and only then decided to help. He was embarrassed but not as much as I was after being made out to feel like a criminal. I asked for his coworkers name and he shockingly said “She’s new but I think her name is Kelsey.”I walked out of the store feeling humiliated and dumbfounded. I loaded up my car with all my items, but quickly realized I couldn’t lift the 5 gallon bucket of paint out of the cart and into my car. I’m a short woman who tends to lift a lot of heavy things myself thanks to being a single mother of a toddler. Despite that, I simply couldn’t. A man walked by me in the parking lot and I apologetically asked if he could lift it into my car. Thankfully he was gracious enough to help.I decided I couldn’t leave without saying something about how awful this whole situation ended up being. I walked back into the store and asked to speak with a manager to discuss my experience. After the associate called Trenton and explained to him at least 3 times why he needed to come do his job for a moment, he appeared in front of me. I told him I wanted to express my concern in regards to the experience I just had at checkout. I mentioned that my family and I just moved to Missouri and my grandparents just bought a house. In other words, there would be several more upcoming trips. With my receipt in hand I expressed my disappointment after spending almost $500 in his store. In a harsh and condescending tone, Trenton informed me that his two associates are “young and brand new” and aren’t “DIYers” but he would “have a talk with them”. I wasn’t aware that being a “DIYer” meant lack of common sense and excused behavior for treating a customer like garbage. He then arrogantly said “welcome to the area. Congrats on your move.”My family and I have spent THOUSANDS over the years at Lowe’s. Please save yourself from being humiliated at this store, especially if you’re a single woman shopping on your own.

Don’t Do It! This has been the Worst experience I’ve ever had! The Spld North side Assist Manager informed me tonight after I told her I was reporting them to the Consumers Act “she didn’t care, she ready had one on her desk she was working on.” That’s A Quote! The Store Manager was standing beside her behaving in the same manner. After I had spent 24 hour, 9 different people ( including Store dept managers, Warehouse, and Corporate) hours of hold time and automated nonsense. I had walked in the store with a email from corporate that could have worked the whole thing out. They however Were So Disrespectful and Rude I told them to come get it all. I had ordered a stove, fridge, dishwasher.-Fridge had No handles, a dent, and scratches. Handles are no where to be found. Even though I bought it in Spfld it was shipped from Lebanon. Which means Spfld will not stand behind their sale at all, and you have to deal with a totally different store, warehouse, delivery. Ordered it Friday, delivery Monday Morning, Tuesday night Still no news or answers.- STOVE I was sold (and the reason I bought from them) a double oven stove for 775.00. Now I argued with the sales rep and told him it was more expensive but he assured me No it was on clearance with 20% off and I was getting a heck of a deal. When they delivered it was one door, totally wrong stove. NO one has been willing to make this right.First call- Dept Manager “ that’s a 1200 stove I don’t know what you want me to do about it”Second - Store Manager you would have to have the warehouse deal with it, they can do refunds and make it right.Third - Warehouse- it’s the stores problem we can’t order products.Fourth- 1st Corporate Customer Service “you need to calm down and be patient, this was remedied when my male husband got on… his tune changed. He made a replacement order. But it was the Same Stove they had already delivered! The wrong one Again!Fifth- Corporate Costumer support SupervisorNow she called the store. She emailed me the numbers that made it all come out even. All that had to be done was the Store decide to be helpful.(Many other calls were made to Lebanon because again fridge is a completely different store)When we walked in the Manager cut me off while talking and told me he didn’t want to hear it, he would get the Assist Manager I had talked to earlier. I informed him that didn’t matter I had a email from Corporate. He was rude and continued to tell me he wasn’t interested. Even the desk girls acknowledged he was rude. They continue to the office where they pull everyone back and have a pow wow. Then they came back, she came up to the counter sporting a RBF and massive attitude. I pulled myself together and asked if they could just be nice and try to help. She informed me they had been nice. I had said I was finished with Lowe’s so….At that point I told them to pick up their appliances asap, I would be reporting them. She said “go ahead I already have one on my desk I’m working on. I replied you Deserve It I’m sure.Do Not Shop At Lowe’s!!! But Stay Away From N Springfield Lowe’s!!!!!Absolutely the Rudest Store, they Do not Stand by their word, Their Service is A Circus!!🤡

Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of Lowe's due to some poor experiences in the past. My rating is more a reflection of recent experiences where they have some good people who are working within their company policies that aren't always customer focused. Menards is typically lower priced and overall easier to do business with.

Came to the store on March 12 at 8 PM. Bought some electrical supplies, but could not find anybody to unlock electrical wire for me. I push the button in an announcement was made numerous times, but nobody ever came. I finally gave up and drove to another store. I understand why electrical wire must be locked up. It’s unfortunate that people steal it, but it’s also unfortunate that the people who want to pay for it cannot do so

I have never been treated so terribly by a business before. I ordered an item on 1/20 and was supposed to pick it up the next day. It is 1/31 and I still do not have the item or any prediction of when it will be here! 4 different associates and 2 managers have talked to me, and I am still waiting for my item. The associates lied multiple times saying it said “in transit” when they never even ordered it.Do not use this Lowe’s unless you enjoy being treated like an idiotic piece of trash.

First and foremost, they have some of the best public toilet paper I have ever used. Very soft, always full!!! Lowe's has a larger selection than the home Depot ranging from stuff I wouldn't gift to a friend all the way to stuff I would like to put in my dream home!!! Friendly helpful staff. Overall good store, needs more American made products though.

I used to love Lowe's. They have super helpful employees on the floor. They're always so knowledgeable and they help you find just what you're looking for. But today, we shopped around for a few things, found what we needed, and headed to checkout. This is around 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy. They had 4 Self-Checkout kiosks open. 4. So there was a wait. We didn't mind, we were next in line to use one. There was one lady, (On her phone) standing nearby to "help". The gentleman ahead of us had a problem so he called her over. Now 2 of the kiosks were open but we couldn't get to them because that man had his cart pulled sideways in the lane. The lady finally moved his cart so we could checkout. The very first thing we go to ring up, rings up wrong price. There is no "delete" button, no way to correct it or take it off, so we push the help button. The lady has taken the first man around to a regular checkout lane and is running his cartload of stuff herself and checking him out. We wait and wait. She looks at us and says she'll be with us as soon as she can. Meantime, 3 other people trying to checkout have now pushed the help button. Nobody is getting out now. The lines are getting longer, and we are still waiting. She finally finishes with the 1st man, and then walks past us to help a man that just got to there! By now, we've waited almost 20 minutes. My husband said screw this, and we walked away and went to Menards. Turns out, Menards was cheaper, for the EXACT same things, AND they had a very nice young man working a real checkout lane. We won't go back to Lowe's again.

My Assistant in the Plumbing dept was beyond amazing. He worked on the part I needed for at least 30 minutes. I love Lowes.! They have everything. Or something else that is not quite the same, but will work.

I have never seen ruder staff. Not only rude but unhelpful. They said they would look in back for something then didn’t come back after 15 minutes..saw the guys they went opposite direction to avoid us. Asked a question about a product I saw online but not on shelf like website said instead of helping us look we were told if it ain’t on the shelf we don’t have it.. instead of helping us look or ordering on line. We are in the middle of a big project already spent $700 at Lowe’s. The rest will be spent at Home Depot. If I would’ve known this is how I was going to be treated after 10th or 15th visit I never even would’ve spent the 700 there. It’s absolutely ridiculous that your staff treats customers like that. $700 may not mean anything to Lowe’s corporate but it’s a lot of money for a small family in Springfield. I’m just glad they will not be getting any more money.

I’ve been slowly updating a remodeling our home, and I’ve come to this Lowe’s several times a week for the last couple months. They have a great staff and have been very helpful. Good knowledgeable people.

I was really disappointed with the way this store was remodeled. I always enjoyed going into the greenhouse room to shop for plants. Now the big front windows are full of other products and the plants seem to be spread all over the place.

I didn't actually go in on this day. I was in the parking lot for my sister to bring some stuff I ordered and shipped to her house 😊. I have always liked Lowe's. Usually good customer service.

We went to Lowe's to shop for Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities for a new house were building. The only positive thing I can say about Lowe's is that they have a decent selection, and appeared they had good prices. However, we were there almost an hour, not one employee came up to ask if they could help us. Sad because there were 2 employees sitting at their desk, one was looking at a computer screen, the other was viewing his cell phone.Too bad, we'll go somewhere else.

Even with other building supply stores in town, Lowes still gets my vote for convenience when purchasing lumber and sheetrock.

Lowes don't run back ground checks on delicery teams. They have a 2 time convicted felon for theft delivering going into people's homes. Seems real shady wouldn't trust it. Case net is free.

Tried to buy a $2000.00+ refrigerator. Long story short, a little over an hour dealing with the appliance lady and walked out. She was nice, but very unhelpful. Possibly needs more training, but people just don't care about doing a good job anymore. Guess we'll go somewhere that wants to take our money.

Well, I have spent thousands using my Lowes card. Now they will be charging me to get a statement after I had to check myself out. Time to go to Menards and Home Depot. Bye Lowes!!!!!This Lowes is no different than most. However, on a recent visit, there were no cashiers at the front of the store. I took my items to the far lumber area checkout and was able to have a cashier check me out. If I am ever unable to have a cashier, I will leave my items and walk. I dont think I am the only one that feels this way.

This store has gone down hill big time, just like all the big box stores. They can have 5 people standing around watching you self checkout, but none of them can checkout for you?? I already have a full-time job and not interested in another one. They don't offer any discount for self checkout and no W2 provided at the end of the year. They can keep their stuff, I'll shop at Menards, where they always ask if you need assistance and have smiling faces at there checkout instead of a machine.Reply to your reply: thank you so much for the generic copy and paste response, real sincere! (Literally the same response that you have provided to all your other low scores). Lol, I'd expect nothing less from you guys, confirming my decision to shop with Menards instead. Actually went to Menards again yesterday and found exactly what I needed and a nice young lady checked out my items for me with a smile on her face.

Sometimes, you get exactly what you need, and sometimes you don't. Sometimes, the employees are very helpful, and sometimes you're dirt on the bottom of their shoe. Sometimes, I can get an item brought to my car from their app when the employees have told me they didn't carry such a thing.

Had to return a fairly expensive item (an electric fireplace that didn't look as good as we thought it would in the home after assembly) and there were no hassles, just in and out in a few minutes, very, very much appreciated. Will continue to be a customer for a long time!

Stopped to look and purchase mirror doors. Stood for a few minutes while 2 employees ignored me while working on some internal software, so it seemed. ( Something RED. ) the other employees just walk right past you or away from you.

I picked out color and had paint mixed at the Lowe's on N Kansas Expressway & Emily helped me picking the right base & color and let me know about 15% off brushes, rollers, drip pans etc when you buy 4 in any combination (sale just started so go in to find out the brand). Great customer service from Emily and everyone else too, great selection & good prices in general.highly recommended
