I can’t believe this place exists! As a new plant person I’ve been buying plants at Walmart and Lowe’s. I decided to look for a local place instead where there are more options.What. A. Find. Tasha, the owner was so welcoming and helpful from the minute I walked in. She immediately started giving me insights and advice on how to help my existing plants and made recommendations for what I could add to my collection based on the light in my house and on my own experience with plants. The shop is gorgeous and the plants are all so happy and healthy. Just being in the shop makes you feel great.You might think this whole experience comes at a $$$ premium but it doesn’t!!!! The plants are all reasonably priced and there’s something for everyone here in all price brackets. You can tell that this place is designed for everyone no matter your level of passion or experience with plants .

Tasha and the rest of her wonderful team have been a blessing to me and my plant needs. They are always incredibly welcoming and happy to help answer any and all questions. The shop is gorgeous and has plant options for every level of plant parents as well as some cool trinkets and plant merch. The shop has a great energy and is pet friendly, I would honestly move in if that were an option! Not only that, but they also offer tons of services like classes, re-potting, and will help you diagnose and treat plants with plant hospital services. Love, love, LOVE this place!!!

A beautiful shop FULL of plants!! Tasha is doing a wonderful job with this place and I’m so glad I finally got to come check it out in person this week. The store manager (Kate?) was so kind and helpful! All of the plants are healthy looking and they have a huge selection of common and rare plants. I was so happy to purchase some variegated String of Hearts here! I have been looking for that plant for awhile. Thank you and keep up the great work! 💚

This place is amazing!! I am not from the area, but met with the owner who displays an extreme amount of professionalism and knowledge. She was able to give me such great insight on plants and even tips for the ones that I have at home. I truly recommend that if anyone finds their way into this side of town that they come in and be treated by such great hospitality!!!

Just went in for the first time today and the staff member was SO sweet! I mentioned that one of my plants was struggling to the staff and I had no idea why and she immediately offered her help with suggestions on what I could do. She also mentioned that I could bring the plant in free of charge no matter where I got the plant with absolutely zero judgement! Prices are also very reasonable and there is such a large selection. I will definitely be returning for any and all of my plant needs!!

The ladies than run this shop are the absolute best! My friend and I stopped in to pick up a plant she’d bought from one of their personal collections and had to check out the shop while we were there. I walked out with 3 little babes that I can’t wait to see grow! Definitely wish I would have grabbed some pictures of the shop because it was super cute and packed wall to wall with tons of neat finds. They’re knowledgeable and have some of the best deals I’ve seen! Beyond allllllll of the plants, they’ve also got a good assortment of goodies to nourish and care for the plants you’ve got at home. Whether a hobbyist or expert, definitely take the time to check out the shop! 🏼

I have been a customer of HLP for quite awhile now and they are the most helpful plant people ever! if you want something special, they will do what they can to get it for you. Their plants are always high quality and gorgeous! I typically find plants there that I didn't even know I wanted. lol.

Hickory Lane Plants is literally my favorite store to visit! The owner and staff are all gems and always so helpful and knowledgeable! I cannot forget to mention their amazing and reasonable prices as well, along with their punch cards! Most of my collection has come from them, from commons to rares they really have it all. Plus, they can usually find anything you're looking to find! Their classes are amazing and so much fun too! Tasha the owner taught me how to build a terrarium and I absolutely love it!I also love that they support other locals within our plant community with having their annual plant swaps, vendor events, and also have local handmade items from vendors. Some of my favs from HLP are my Adansonii Albo, Epi pin Marble, Monstera Albo, and every single Hoya I've purchased from them in my collection!I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out!

Favorite plant shop in Springfield HANDS DOWN. They have such a great selection of beautiful, affordable, and healthy plants. The staff is so incredibly nice and helpful and makes you feel so happy to be shopping in there. You must check it out! Obsessed with my philodendron brandi from there!

This is my go-to plant shop, I know they take care of them and do the VERY best job of making sure their plants are pest free. Love her, love her employees, and love her shop!

I went in specifically for Sphagnum moss and got to look around at their plants. I love the variety and will definitely be back to add to my indoor jungle haha also, the workers seemed like they knew what they were talking about and I really appreciated that.

Loved the aesthetic feel of this little shop. Took my mom in, we both got two plants a piece… unfortunately the plants died within 2/3 months. Unsure why, we have dozens of other plants so we know what we’re doing. But the ones we got here, were not survivors.

It’s been a dream watching her grow her business into what it is now, and I couldn’t be more happy with the store and the plants I’ve gotten from her over the past couple years. She and her entire staff are all very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. This is absolutely my favorite shop in town. The prices are fair for the quality of the plant and they do an awesome punch card deal that entices you to shop even more often!

From a plant truck to a store front; Tasha has certainly proven her expertise. My Mother was a florist for most of my childhood so you can say that I have been around plants & flowers my entire life; with a true love for it all. I am also a Greene County Master Gardener & a true houseplant crazy lady! 😍 With that said, Tasha has definitely impressed me time & again with her knowledge & passion for houseplants; common, as well as the rare. I have not only purchased plants from her, but have asked for her expertise many times. She is incredibly generous with her knowledge, as well as her plants. Needless to say, I haven't gone to anyone else since I met her at her plant truck on E. Commercial Street a few years ago. I HIGHLY recommend Tasha & Hickory Lane Plants for ALL of your houseplant needs.

Cutest little shop on Glenstone with super kind and helpful people running the place. I think their prices are fair and the plants are exceptional and well cared for. I just picked up a Monstera plant that I had purchased online, and they picked one out for me but told me I could pick it myself if I felt the need (the one picked for me was excellent, however.) I have also purchased the gnat tea and the neem oil for plant care and it’s top notch stuff. It’s was sweet little place and I will be back!
