I should have left this review long ago, but our most recent experience really got me. I'll share the condensed version of our story.We searched high and low for a good groomer prior to finding Country Paws. We were looking for someplace to take our Maltese that would treat him with gentle love and pay close attention to his needs. We also wanted to find a place that wouldn't keep him all day or over charge. Then we found Country Paws. We have been taking our dog here for over 5 years! Now our dog is getting older, (he just turned 13). On our last visit to Country Paws, our dog was acting very sleepy. I went inside with him and before the woman even took him from me, she went to a closet and got out a warm blanket for him to lay on while he waited for his turn. Then she got him a bowl with fresh water to keep next to him in case he got thirsty. I was so touched, I could have cried. She said "We like to keep our older guys comfortable." I'm so thankful for the work that they do and for the special care they give our dog, Moses. To them, they see our dog isn't just a dog, but a very important part of our family.

I am so thankful for Country Paws! I have two dogs, one of which is usually very sensitive and overdramatic about his feet being touched at all. I took in my easy dog for a nail trim and asked them about my difficult dog. They were very kind and had me bring him right in to give a nail trim a try. They were very very quick and gentle and got the job done with him barely even noticing what was happening! I will recommend them to anyone that will listen!

Hope the best for this business, I’m not saying they’re liars but something isn’t quite right not taking in new customers and then saying they’re booked for the entire year. If that’s true good for them. Realistically I don’t see how a dog grooming business is booked for a full year, when any other Springfield dog grooming business can book me within a month time. If they ever decide to open up to the public I would love to bring Athena here. Hopefully they change the store policy someday! Good luck to your business.

Dropped in without an appointment to get my dog's nails trimmed. The ladies were very pleasant and we were in and out in about 5 minutes. I really appreciate the convenience of being able to stop in and get this little job done when I can work it into my schedule.

I wish I'd have found y'all when I first moved to Springfield, two years ago. You did such an amazing job on Gracie, yesterday! I was so worried about her because she's so shy and has anxiety issues (and I've only had her two weeks!), but the care you gave her was amazing! She not only looks great, I felt so comfortable leaving her with you, and I wouldn't leave her with just anyone! Thank you for taking such good care of my little girl. Looking forward to years of great service.If you're wondering if this is a good enough place for your dog, I am VERY picky and wouldn't recommend someone I didn't trust. Country Paws is amazing!

I adopted my mini schnauzer about a year ago and found out that he does not do well in a normal groomer with cages so when I saw this facility online I was very excited to see what it was like with the open crate style. I've had my baby groomed there 3 or 4 times now and every time they do an amazing job! I also like that the number of dogs that are in the facility at once is very low and usually 2 workers help groom one dog at a time. I highly recommend them, especially if your dog has been adopted and had a hard past. Oh, and it's never taken them more than an hour from start to finish!

Hands down the best place I've ever taken my furbabies to be groomed... even when I forget to schedule in advance they can usually accommodate getting my dogs in quickly. They do a fantastic job on their trims/baths/nails... I've never had a bad experience with them. I refer anyone new to the area or w new pets to go see them

I usually take my little chihuahua in to get her nails trimmed (one thing she does like) The ladies at Country Paws are always great with her! They are always so pleasant to us when we go in there. Definitely recommend Country Paws for your fur baby!

Amazing staff who actually listen when you describe what you want done to your fur babies! They are very welcoming and sweet and definitely take wonderful care of the animals. It's the only place I can take my small Maltese without her panicking! I drive over an hour to bring my babies to these great ladies!

These ladies were so accommodating and quick to give my dogs a nail trim. My first time in I didn't have cash, so they said it was on the house, given it was only $5 each for my two dogs it was a grinding too!! I haven't been anywhere else for my pooches and would recommend these amazing ladies to anyone.

Would definitely recommend! Friendly, fast and affordable dog grooming. My Mini Schnauzer never looked better and they really care for your furry family members! Had my stubborn little Dachshund's nails trimmed as well, which he hates, and they did a great job despite his protesting and wiggling.

I came here to get my dog’s claws trimmed. It was only $5 and literally took less than 2 minutes. I was worried that my dog would be scared, but they took care to make her feel comfortable and she didn’t mind getting them trimmed at all. Also I appreciate they use a drill to file them down instead of clippers-it’s much safer. I will definitely be returning!

I've read the other reviews before leaving this one. I would like to dress a couple of the one and two star reviews with mine. I'm a business owner myself, have no affiliation with country paws (other than being impressed with their business) and will receive nothing for my review. Unruly/screaming kids are not their responsibility. It would make me anxious to have them in my business. The fact that the ladies who work there withstood that torment for two hours speaks volumes for their kindness and patience! As for the quote...it is just that a quote. If a person brings in a dog that needs more attention than expected, the price will go up. Hair matts, stick tights and unclean dog would be expected to cost more. We've had nothing, but great experiences with country paws. Thank you for a very reasonable price and great service!

Awesome!!! Took extra special care of our last dog and same extra special care of our current (Tucker). I would like to address one other Review (one star) that describes removing a poor Review. Removing a review is impossible, I know I also own a business. I believe that this reviewer has mistaken this groomer for another. Again, they are AWESOME!!!

These ladies are so nice and truly love every dog that comes in! My dog can be a pain when it comes to the groomers and other places have turned me down and wouldn't groom him, but these ladies are more than willing to work with him and make him look his absolute best! The best groomers in town!

My husband and I recently moved from Arizona, and were nervous about taking our dog somewhere new. She was previously abused before we adopted her and is very nervous around strangers. Right when we walked in it felt very welcoming and friendly. I was called after 30 minutes and she looked amazing! When I picked her up she was happy and smelt wonderful. Thank you Country Paws!

Finally goomers that actually listen to what we want!! And they are all so nice and the facility is clean and well put together. I love the family housing they have instead of crates. So Thankful we found a place we love for our 3 girls!! And they are so reasonable and do a fabulous job!

I brought my 4 year old Malti-poo in for the first time today after finding Country Paws online. Malti-poo's have very thick, very curly hair and he had several tangles in his long hair that needed to be shaved. For $32 my dog was given a cut, shave, shampoo, condition, nails cut, and ear and face cleaned. My dog was in and out within just over an hour and looked and smelled fantastic. The best grooming he has ever received. The store was very clean and they staff was super professional but friendly and warm. A place I felt comfortable to leave my fragile baby with. I would highly recommend them and I will continue to use them! Thank you Country Paws!!

I guess they didn't like my bad review from two years ago so they deleted it but I'm posting again. They did a horrible job on my long haired chihuahua Teddy! It was the worst grooming he ever had. He had razor burns on his neck and belly and it was all uneven. It took almost a year for it to grow back out and he looked horrible. They never called me to apologize or give me a refund for the bad cut or anything. Good Luck getting a decent groom there! I hope people see this before it's deleted again... if you Love your pet don't take them here!

I have one little dog that is difficult to trim he has a lot of joint problems his master died 2 years ago and he is blind I was a little scared to take him to country paws but they were so grate with hime the even had him done in ok ess than an hour. I always liked taking my puppies to county paws but now I am grateful I found them. A great big shout out goes to the ladies that have the patients and love to deal with special needs dogs. I feel like all the five star ratings I saw on Google were put on there by their friends or something. I definitely didn't have a 5-star experience. First time there they told me it would take one, MAYBE up to two hours tops...well it definitely took the full 2 hours plus some, and when you have 2 screaming kids with you that makes it seem even longer. Not to mention my yorkies groom was uneven in about 7 different places, and they scraped her vagina with the clippers and didn't even tell me about it! Her little area was red and puffy for like 5 days after. Wasn't impressed, probably won't return.

This place is the best! I have a Pomsky that has a thick undercoat and these ladies did an amazing job. I have had to leave my dog at the groomers for an ENTIRE day at other places and they were done with him in two hours and looked better than ever.

Great staff got our golden doodle in for a nail trim and wouldn't take our cash because they said there wasn't enough to trim to make a difference. Did a face, fanny, and a few other things instead right on the spot! All 3 who was there working jumped in with him (either working on him, placing him in the table, and petting him!

We highly recommend Country Paws. We’ve tried probably six or more groomers over the years. We’ll never go anywhere else even though we moved and have to drive farther. They are the best! The two petty complaints have only themselves to blame.

I don't have enough space or time to write all the great things there are to say about this place! You will be hard pressed to find a place that cares more about you pet than these ladies, AND @ reasonable prices. Do yourself a favor and make them your FIRST and LAST stop for grooming your lovies!! 🐶 my labradoodle loves them, and I feel so safe leaving her here 💓
