If I could give less than 1 star I would. Dr. Wilson has completely checked out. He used to be amazing but with one of my best friends cats and my sisters dog he has completely missed a cancer diagnosis and they had to put them down. I have felt for a long time that he just didn’t seem to have my pets best interest and that is now completely clear. It’s time to retire.

My boyfriend and I take our two dogs, and cat here. This front desk staff, and doctor are so sweet. They remember my dogs almost by name and seem very dedicated to bettering the lives of animals.

Was molly given a blood thiñner? Before being hydrated? If not she had no chance to survive. Jenny should have let Melissa care for Molly. I believe negligence caused her death.

My dog was in serious pain, couldn't eat and my usual vet retired just a few day before! I was given an estimate by another vet of $800 without really looking at him (maybe!). These folks were kind and caring and got us in. My dog just had a cut in the back of mouth (he is a really aggressive chewer) and chipped a tooth. A week of antibiotics so far and my little man is his old self. You can trust these folks to do what is needed to keep your fur babies happy and healthy! We have a new vet.

They are so amazing!!!they actually care about you and your animals. Was told by another place my dog had vertigo and charged 1000. They looked at her and figured out the real problem in 5 minutes and saved her life.I will never go anywhere else.

Do not take your bunny here. I was very excited to have finally found a vet in Springfield that would treat bunnies. I was told he had 20+ years in experience. I took mine in a few times and everything seemed well until this past Wednesday. I woke up and got ready for work. I picked up my bunny to give him the amoxocillin that the vet had let me call in for him and he was clearly sick, sitting in a pile of his own feces. He could still move but didn't want to. I immediately called my boss and asked if I could come in an hour late to drop him off at the vet. I took him into the vet and explained what was going on. They said that they would take a look and let me know.I had to wait until noon to call to check on him. I was told that it was a side effect of the amoxocillin he was on and they were giving him a new medicine to treat it. They said he was ready to come home. I was relieved and picked him up as aoon as I got off of work. The lady at the desk made a joke about how he was continuing to soil himself after they had cleaned him multiple times.I got home thinking my bunny was doing better and went to grab him out of his pen to clean him as the lady at the desk had recommended for me to do when I got home.I went to pick him up out of his crate and there was clearly something wrong. I thought that maybe it was just because he wasn't feeling well or that the vet gave him anesthesia. After I cleaned him up, I wrapped him in a towel to help him dry off.I called the vet to ask if any anesthesia was used and was told no. I informed the lady at the desk that he was barely moving and was told to give them a call in the morning. I thought maybe he had gotten too cold, so I tried to bundle him up in layers to warm him up. He was still alive but barely conscious.I laid him down in his pen after 20 to 30 minutes thinking maybe he might be too warm and sthen thought to call an emergency vet. I called every place and town, and by the time I found somewhere that would take him, it was too late.It has been so hard not having my bunny by my side. I did some research and I learned that his proper diagnosis should have been GI Stasis. It's a condition that can be treated, but if not treated properly or early enough can be fatal. The vet had given me amoxocillin for him 3 times prior to his passing. I also learned that amoxocillin is not to be used for bunnies EVER unless it is a last resort, and if used, is done so by injection. It causes bad bacteria to grow in their digestive system, eventually leading to GI Stasis, which is what my bunny passed away from. Itone of the main causes of death in bunniesI feel so stupid for not knowing. There were so many missteps by this vet that caused his death. He was doing perfectly fine until that morning.Had the vet really had 20+ years of experience in bunnies, not only would he avoid prescribing amoxocillin, especially multiple times for that matter, he would have also properly diagnosed his condition and treated it. My bunny would still be here.If the lady at the counter would have told me I needed to seek help immediately, he might have made it then. Had I been called before noon and told the condition of my bunny, that they could not diagnose or treat it the way it needed to be, I could have rushed him to an emergency vet.It really hurts losing a part of your family. I blindly trusted this vet to take good care of my bunny. Don't be like me. Do not take your pet bunny here please.

I took my kitty to SAAF to have him neutered and afterwards he was very sick. I took him here to Country Club and the vet was very knowledgeable and nice he quickly diagnosed my cat. And it was affordable. So if you have any question just go here in the first place!

I appreciate this vet. He is definitely an Amina lover. He can look at your dog and just about know what's the matter with them. The front staff r helpful and cheery. I recommended my daughter to bring her new poodle pup there and she was well pleased also.

VERY good vet. We have taken many of our pets to him for years.I've been to a lot of vets all over town. One of many examples, one time I went to a different vet and had a bunch of bloodwork and test run to find out what was wrong with an elderly cat. Didn't get any results that told us anything was wrong. Then took her to this vet Dr. Wilson and he knew without running any test what the problem is. This man has it been around the block and seems to be easier to work with you if there's a financial issue.

Carelessly responsible for the death & suffering of so many pets. Dr. Wilson is egotistical and uninteresting in really diving into many medical problems. The one time I had contact with him, he made me extremely uncomfortable. The horror stories I have heard of this vet is so disheartening. While the receptionist ladies are kind, anyone who turns a blind eye to the negligence going on in this facility are also responsible. Never taking my pets here again.

I wish I could give less than 1 star, especially after seeing all of the other stories that have been posted here.My cat is 8 years old. I adopted her when she was 2. Recently, she started having issues in the litter box. I took her to Dr. Wilson after he came recommended to me. His idea of diagnosing was feeling her stomach — no vitals, no blood work, no x-ray, nothing. He diagnosed her with megacolon and prescribed her two medications. He said we would see if she needed to continue on the medication two weeks later. Two weeks pass. My cat absolutely hates taking medicine and I hate making her suffer. We go back and I ask if she needs to be on medicine still. He says we need to wait another two weeks. Still no form of real diagnostics.I take her to a different vet two weeks later, following my gut instinct. Come to find out, my cat’s colon was completely fine and I had been pumping her full of medicine she didn’t need for a month. Also, come to find out, you can’t diagnose megacolon without bloodwork or x-rays.People on here will cite cheap pricing and expertise as their reason for seeing this vet. Please do not trust those reviews.

If I could write it at zero stars I would. Such negligence of peoples animals and absolutely no sympathy or care for peoples pets. I actually had an appointment with this hospital but had a change of plans and had to cancel. SO thankful I didn’t take our boy there.

My cat Chloe died a week after having a lump removed. There were no post surgery instructions or medication. A couple days after the surgery I called with concerns of a fever that were not listened to. I was told she couldn’t have an infection because it’s a sterile surgery, they only gave a pain med at that point. After taking her to another vet we found out she had a severe infection and internal bleeding from the surgery. She was only 9 years old and was healthy just needed a cyst removed. I think this vet might be ok for other things, but not surgery.

So happy, so lucky to have Dr Wilson as out pets' veterinarian. Are pets are old and their health was failing. Dr Wilson quickly diagnosed their issues, prescribed simple medical treatments, and even answered our questions about nutrition and feeding (Pur*na One+Plus). We haven't seen our 13 - 15 year old pets seem so happy, energetic and playful in years. We highly recommend Dr Wilson and Country Club Veterinary Hospital.

Their negligence lead to my cat passing away 3 years ago. I’m seeing that the same thing is happening today. Nothing has changed. They don’t have social media because they get review bombed. Watching Over Whiskers recommends that you do not use them. What more could you need to see not to go here.Posting this here now that I realize their Facebook is gone so therefore so is my review.

I highly recommend this vet! My cat was super ill, I didn't think she was going to make it. I called and got in the same day, with super affordable prices not only for the visit, but for the medication as well. My kitty is back to her loud self, and gaining weight once again.

A friend of mine lost their cat after a botched surgery. Read into it and found that MANY people have lost their pets due to negligence by Dr. Wilson. Incorrect surgeries, not providing x-rays and proper care, misdiagnosed, and more. He needs to go.

We had use this vet for 10 years. But when my oldest cat started getting swelling in his face, Dr. Wilson did multiple facial surgeries and kept saying he had dental abscesses, and gave him antibiotics. He never got any better and kept losing weight and kept deteriorating. I kept trying to tell Dr. Wilson that something was wrong and asked that they weigh him. His vet techs were always incredibly rude and refused to weigh my cat because he would act out at the vet. I’ve seen instances where they were rude to him, where they were dumped him out of his carrier into a net to catch him. There was even one time Dr. Wilson admitted to me that they would laugh at him when he was in the kennel and hissing at them. They would torment him and laugh about it. Maybe there was a reason he always acted out at the vet! We finally took my cat to a different vet for a second opinion, when we were finally told that he had cancer and it was too far for any treatment. My cat died due to his delay in diagnosis and his lack of compassion.we thought we were fighting hard enough for him. 💔

I saw mixed reviews, some saying Doctor Wilson is great, others saying that this vet was terrible… I wasn’t sure which ones were accurate, so I took a gamble. The vet was located close to where I live so I figured it was worth a shot. I kind of wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews.I have been there two or three times now, and I can’t say it was the best care my puppy has ever received. I brought her in, thinking she had a UTI, and all he did was press on her tummy and tell me she was fine.Another time, she was acting weird and wouldn’t eat kibble and kept throwing up spontaneously. So I brought her in. Once again, all he did was press her tummy and tell me it was probably a stomach bug. He also made a not so nice comment. (I was running late, so I called them to let them know so that they could take any patients that might be after me, as I didn’t want to cause a delay)… when I got there he said “typical woman, making me wait”. He acted like he was joking, but I didn’t appreciate it.All in all, I feel like every time I have brought my dog there, he has not done any kind of actual examining or tests, and then just pulled a diagnosis out of the air. And then he was not super nice.I will say, the receptionist was always very sweet and she loved my dog. But I can’t recommend this vet based solely on the receptionist.

I am so grateful for Dr Wilson and staff. Although we're not out of the woods, Milo was given a second chance at life. I brought him in on his death bed knowing I would be saying goodbye. He kept him overnight, gave him fluids and kept him comfortable. Called me early the next morning with the diagnosis and treatment plan and let me bring my baby home. Super impressed by the quick diagnosis, minimal tests and affordable care.
